This haveli shows ancient views of shekhawati culture.
Nice but so expensive comparison of other tourist places in jaipur.
Beautiful and nice place. Came to know about shekhawati as well as Rajasthani culture & history...
Amazing experience to visit this place . And understand the real rich cultural of Rajasthan. Architecture of this Haveli is an ancient and like modern this time. Ventilation in this Haveli is well planned as per VASTUSHASTRA. This mesume is well maintained by the poddar trust. Lots of bollywood films were also picturised at this Haveli. A very amazing add of facebook is also picturised here only. Lots of pre-wedding shoot were also picturised here.
Mr Sushil Sharma ji who is the caretaker of the museum is a learned man. He is very friendly and will guide you through the place. Clean and well maintained palace. 100% recommended
If you are a someone who adores art and paintings and are looking for an escape from the hustle of city life and travel vibes. Nawalgarh is just the right stop for you. When you are here do visit 3 Havelies (Poddar, Morarka, Chokhani). and Shiva temple.Entry fees approx. INR 80/- for each haveli. What art? Fresco paintings and surely one of the best! While Poddar haveli has been renovated somewhere in the 90s and purposes to educate Rajasthani culture through miniature replica in each set room, the other two boasts of original paintings as well as original upkeeps (expect normal wear and tear of assets).Bargain with the guides and you will get a better insight of haveli infrastructures (like toran dwar, old age sewaks and the use of differently abled etc).People of this town are really warm, do also stroll around Nawalgarh market, the city is divided between old and new city.
This Haveli is an absolute mirror of Rajasthani culture. The Wall Art with fresco paintings are amazing. For students the ticket is of 60 rupees. Many times I was in Nawalgarh but never get chance to visit these beautiful Havelies but this time the experience was amazing. And must try Nawalgarh puchka (water balls as famous for chaat (snacks).
Must visit. Really a very well preserved heritage. Amazing wall painting.
Its a old artitecture hawelis in the navalgarh villege and need toh maintain them
good museum.. details are in English only. It should be in Hindi too as domestic visitors understand Hindi. Please improve services at visiting hours as rooms and lights were closed. Visitors has to personally open the gates of the rooms and switch on the lights. Customer service is not good as we are paying Rs. 80 for entry ticket
This place is a must go in Nawalgarh. It has a lot of things to see in every room w.r.t. festivals, jewellary, forts etc. Our guide perfectly explained everything with finer details.
Beautiful place please visit
Such a nice museumI loved it very muchIt is really awesomeThis is the Nawalgarhs best museum and art gallery so go and check out itAnd visit once time in your life
Beautiful palace and Guide Sunil ji was very nice. It is very instagrammable. The culture of Rajasthan is depicted uniquely as the confluence is brought all at one place. Dresses, paintings, jewellery, forts, arts all are depicted in each room. Well maintained too. Must visit once, even for Rajasthani people to refresh their culture.
Great haveli to visit. 80/head. Carry cash to as most of the time online payments wont work. Person will guide you about the details of the haveli. You can park 2 or 4 wheelers outside.will take 1 hour to cover the haveli.
This haveli is not quite ancient and was built just about 90 years ago, in the 1920s under the Nawalgarhs. The Haveli boasts of some really beautiful frescoes with varied themes ranging from the illustrations of technological marvels like the air balloon or the modern railways or the Wright brothers attempt at flight to the paintings of Gods and Goddesses. The Haveli has now been restored and turned into a museum. While your visit to this exquisite museum, the aid of a knowledgeable guide would help increase your knowledge about this place by leaps and bounds.

The place to visit if in town. A well kept haveli with snippets from the past and artifacts from across the state.
A heritage Haveli converted into museum. Its an initiative to preserve our rich heritage. The artwork done inside the Haveli is a treasure. If we dont preserve such pieces of art, then, how will the coming generations see, what we had.
Very beautiful building in the old Castle in Howell Architecture miniature painting very NC my friend hes happy
This haveli is very well maintained. It has a decorated door which is one of the best in India. There is a museum in which Rajasthani culture is displayed in the form of Brides and Bridegrooms of different Rajasthan communities. There are models of ten famous forts of Rajasthan very beautifully created. There are many more paintings, ornaments, weapons and artefacts. It is worth visiting.
