Pluckers Wing Bar in Montrose

We went today, table of four, service was bad, wings were good, all other food was cold. We waited along time to get a server. We sent cheese fries back and had removed from our bill. Never saw a manager to share our experience.Sad thing is, when they show they care, the food can be good. service and management slacking.We dined in.

Came on Sunday for some delicious wings and some Astros and Texans. Sadly they don’t do Astros Baseball if the Texans are playing! LMAO. Terrible. Get another satellite feed folks!

Slow waitress, got orders wrong, waited too long for her to bring my ranch, and my wings got cold. Parking lot horrible to.

Went with the wife and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was great and there are plenty of TVs to watch all the sports!!!!

Tabitha was fantastic. Quick, friendly service. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was chill for a Thursday lunch with a couple of coworkers. Definitely returning.

Fries were cold, wings were cold, and the service was bad. I should have known something was wrong when I ordered my food and it came out in like two minutes. I felt like it was somebody elses order that was returned, then given to me. All bad. The bartender kept trying to get me to order drinks. The person that came with me ordered drinks but I was done drinking for the night. After we got our food, we just were left there sitting. We had to get someone else to bring us the ticket.

The parking by itself gives it a one star. No way it is up to code for the amount of people inside and have 0 parking spaces available it’s an ongoing thing. I’m a pluckers club member and enjoy the wings but the price increases have been tough though the price for wholesale wings has dropped to prices lower than before the pandemic but the price increase hasn’t gone down much if not at all. For the price you pay the side of fries feel inadequate and you could get around this by ordering the tater tots but now they reduced those too. I’m overall disappointed for the amount of money you spend at a place the booths aren’t even the best quality and feel like you’re sitting on wires with no cushions.

This pluckers has the worst service Ive ever been to. My best friend and i (two younger patronscame on 8/08 and sat at the bar. It was a Monday night.. they were not busy and the bar was maybe half full and every one had drinks and food already served. My friend and i sat at the bar for over 20 minutes... not a single word from the four people behind the bar. No greeting at all.My friend and I kept looking at each other confused because they were not busy... they were cleaning glasses and chatting. I finally decided to say "excuse me" after being passed by multiple times around the bar, from different workers. The bartender somehow did not hear me the two times i said excuse me very loudly but the two people next to us heard and shot me a sorry look.Finally, i looked at my friend and said I was going to be louder this time (maybe somehow he could not hear me in this very unbusy bar Ive been sitting at for 25 minutes now. After I almost yelled at said "Hello sir excuse me" the young man behind the bar finally looked at me and acknowledged my existence with a "yes?" very confused. I told him we had been waiting for 25 minutes and before i could even finish my sentence a random worker had popped up next to me introducing themselves, and the young man behind the bar irritatedly walked away without a word. (thought bartenders served patrons at the bar but guess im wrong).Our order was finally taken in a rushed fashion, our food came out almost 40 minutes later. we order 5 wings and a boneless meal. Nothing insane.Now get this. Youre going to love this.. the food comes out and its cold to the touch. you can touch it and it wasnt even room temp at that point. I had to flag down the waiter after 10 minutes bc he never came back to check up on us. and while I flagged him down, he was across the bar asking me what I needed (as if I just needed something quick and nothing really worth attending toand I kindly asked if I could please chat with him when hes not busy. He then rushed over and I told him it was cold, he looked at my plate for a second dumbfounded and I then said.. "you can feel it if you like" and then he put his finger on the chicken and felt it and nodded his head silently and took it away.Then, another 25 minutes later, I get my dish back and gosh, it was actually lukewarm this time. we had been sitting at this dingy bar for over two hours on a Monday night. everyone around the bar that was there when we had first sat was completely gone.Yet, tens of workers were seen in the restaurant, and barely a lick of service. my friend and I debated just paying and leaving but we both left a $1 tip. We were ultimately treated horribly by the bar just because we look like young college students. Pick absolutely any other pluckers franchise in the Houston area. we always have and never had a problem until this location.

The 5 free wings coupon is a total scam - they won’t accept it when you go to pay like every other restaurant / store on the face of the earth. They basically tell you there’s nothing anyone can do even the manager which is a the biggest lie anyone whos had an elementary school level knowledge of restaurants knows that it’s possible. And I was able to use this coupon the last time I was here at payment. Bartenders are slow and useless also.

I got a Togo order from this location. They said it’s monster tenders and hand breaded but it seems like me and my buddy got Tyson chicken tenders. We asked for ranch and got blue cheese. Just was not up to the katy freeway location.

I have a love hate relationship with Pluckers.I LOVE the wings, sauce flavors, appetizers.The service at this location lacked, even though we were at the bar and they had 3 bartenders on a small horse shoe bar.I got realllllly bad food poisoning from this location and I’m scared to go back to any locations.Didn’t have any issues with the Webster location though! Love them!Really hope they step up their standards.

Absolutely delicious food, great service, fun environment, and all around great experience. I hope to return here soon!

Two things come to mind when thinking about this location 1. Food quality and wait time.... there is no excuse for a long wait for the pre-made processed food, they sell only to be lack luster and terrible for better words. 2. The hygiene is horrible in the pic attached there was a man standing on the food prep counter as someone was prepping food, they did not clean the table after the employee did that. We also saw an employee with gloves n a kitchen apron go outside to throw trash with gloves n apron on came back inside n didnt change apron nor gloves... needless to say this is disgusting are they washing hands? Cleaning prep areas? Nobody called anything out so my assumption is no. We did not eat the food but unfortunately we paid the bill we will never make this mistake again, because we will never come here again.

Thankful that this place could accommodate our party of 11. Pluckers is known for their chicken but if you get the chance to go back try the nachos or the fried mac and cheese- delicious! Parking is hectic so you can either ride around the parking lot and hope for someone to be coming out or look for street parking. Overall really nice experience and will definitely come back!

Good food I had the Cheech and Chong it had avocado,queso, and tortilla strips. It was pretty good the waffle fries were waffle fries. Also had fried pickles and guess what they tasted like fried pickles atmosphere was good for lunch and service was good

I went to this location today 6/19 & the food was great. But this is where I found a problem, I literally placed the remainder of my food in a To-go box I then Placed my child back in the stroller, signed the bill & accidentally walked off while leaving my to-go box on the table. I didn’t even make it out of the front door before I realized this which was less than a minute from leaving the table & the staff had thrown my to-go box in the trash. I asked my waiter Jalen about it & he kind of just shrugged his shoulders like basically it was gone. Luckily it wasn’t much food in the box but I’m thinking like what if I had left my phone on the table, or my wallet or something important, is the staff going to throw customer belongings in the trash the second they turn their backs to leave? I mean I don’t expect the staff to hold my to- go box all day but to throw it away after less than a minute of leaving was not customer service for me. I get they are busy but that’s just tasteless. Where’s the consideration to give a customer who patronized this business at least 3-5 minutes to remember they left their box on the table? Major points off for this location. It’s the principle & I’m sure this has happened to many customers. This was not a complimentary meal. I paid for it. Allow me to recognize for a split second to go back & grab my To-Go food that I paid for! Lol wow. Never again.

Quality has gone down tremendously… not only for this Pluckers but for all locations. My bf wanted to visit the location because the Memorial location had horrible service and the wings were disgusting. Unfortunately, this location is not any different except for service. Our server was nice. Now to our wings…. they were horrible. They were not freshly fried and the way we could tell was because our wings were extra extra extra crispy but cold to touch meaning these wings were probably fried earlier and set on the side for future orders and then tossed. I’m used to biting into the wing with steam coming off the wing, but the inside of our wing was cold. The managers need to train the kitchen staff not to take shortcuts with the food, because customers can tell…. I hope Pluckers can bounce back, but I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE? I used to bring my family here to show them a cool spot to hang out grab beers and get some wings. Today was that straw, I could understand if the bar is busy and overwhelmed it wasnt. Two of the bartenders outright ignored my wife and I and didnt put in our orders.Pathetic.

The food wasn’t fresh whatsoever pluckers must be going downhill I usually have a great experience. Fries & wings taste like they were taken off of someone’s leftovers. I’m pretty disappointed

Stopped in last Wednesday and was throughly satisfied. FYI Wednesday nights are trivia night so if that’s your thing this place would be perfect for you. I would suggest coming early because it was crowded and we were originally told the wait would be 1 hour to an hour and 30 minutes. Luckily, we were able to find seats at the bar, so this was not the case.The food was really tasty. I got the spicy lemon pepper wings and my mom got the vampire wings. Really good but I must say neither were spicy. If you want a real kick consider flavors with 3 flames or more. Overall a great visit.

Slow service. Boneless wings are horrible. Small pieces of hard breading is more like it. Small wings... not worth it. Had 4 kids with us and got no kids menus. They stop serving drinks without doing any kind of last call but still tried charging for drinks that werent received due to being "too late*. First and last time dining here.

Wings are good, if youre looking for a wing sauce suggestion, try lemon pepper and spicy garlic mixed. Fried pickles are awesome. Also, treat yourself to a Batman drink, its good. The customer service could be a lil better but its manageable. Prices have increased but food is worth it.

The lemon pepper wings were good, tangy, nice & crispy! The macaroni and cheese looked like the photo online (it’s sad because most restaurants don’tand it was really good! The place was packed, but I ordered online anyway. I’d definitely return!

Great food and drinks. The desserts are awesome too. The fried oreos are amazing. Covid compliant and all precautions taken to insure you enjoy the great food and stay safe.10/10 for food and service.

Pluckers is a great little place, and I really need to visit there more. Ive been here a handful of times and every time its hot and tasty. Their boneless "wings" are really just chicken strips but dang are they good. My last visit our waitress warned us they were down a fryer and it might take longer, but honestly it didnt feel like it did. Great place to eat some chicken!

We checked in on line off the Yelp app so there was no wait. Once seated our waiter came and he was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu being it was our first time there. Even offered us free fried pickles. Ordered hot boneless wings and they were hot 🔥. The drinks and the price were reasonable. The waiter asked us to come back again and so we will. Lots of variety to choose from. Very small for parking lot for the large amount of business they carry is my only complaint. Definitely will be back

1 hour wait to be seated. Another hour to get our food and it comes out semi cold. Ver disappointed. We love pluckers but the service has gone downhill. Not worth the time…

Pluckers will forever be the place I go for wings. I always get the same thing just because I’m obsessed with it which is mild wings. Their strawberry lemonade is fantastic of course!

Price of wings went up but they are god darn worth it .! Super friendly service. The parking lot is small but we found a parking thank god . We sat outside and it was awesome. I’ll definitely recommend!

GML picked Pluckers to celebrate Gus’ birthday at Gus’s suggestion. Hadn’t been there since I tried in Dallas when my daughter went to college there. Wow! Glad to rediscover here. Two ordered CHICKEN TENDER BASKETS, one a CLUB SANDWICH and one a NAKED TENDERS with a side salad. The CHICKEN TENDERS were crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy. The CLUB was super. We are all big eaters but three of us ended up talking home TENDERS and a CLUB to enjoy for another meal. We arrived at 11 A.M and the service was attentive and very accommodating to separate checks. Glad we arrived early, when we left there was a line outside waiting to get in. No surprise after our great experience.

Pluckers has some good wings and great sides. The part that bothers me is the long waiting time and the previous times i had really terrible waiters that really drop the ball on our table. Last time i had the wings they came out cold and we made a complaint and they swapped them out but where kind of burned.

Service was pretty quick during the week and the waitress was pretty good as well. Food is always delicious and the fried cheese and Mac & cheese is always good appetizers to try. I will be back 😁

This is my favorite place to go for wings! Pluckers is so good, I can not believe there’s people who still haven’t tried pluckers. Their wings are really good and very spicy! *if you get a spicy flavor* I love their holy macaroni and their fried pickles! Favorite flavors to get are Honey BBQ, Spicy Lemon Pepper and Manganero! Will definitely be coming back.

Great experience both times my family has been here. It is a bit pricey but its so worth it. The food is great and well seasoned. Drinks are great too and also the kids meals. My whole family enjoyed our visit. There is a wait during the dinner rush so we come early in the day. Overall this place is great. Highly recommend Jess, she was an excellent waitress.2/23/2021:Decided to come here for our monthly outing since the pandemic and I have to say, Pluckers is going above and beyond with customer service and making sure there is social distancing and temperature checks at the door. All of these precautions makes me and my family feel safe. Josh was an amazing server, made sure our food and drink order was correct. Overall great atmosphere and great tasting food. First time trying the Holy Macaroni and it was delicious. Also a plus that they have sweet potato fries.

This is an amazing resturant Ive been to! Their cheese sticks were thick and delicious and the sauce too! And its the first time trying ranch with the sticks and it was awesome! And the monster chicken stripes (6pcwas so good.You guys need to support this restaurant and give them all the love!

This place is always packed but its worth the wait. Best wing flavors you will find anywhere, and if you like em spicy this is your place. Try the Buffalo hot and Jamango Jerk if you like intense, but still bearable, heat. Let the kids try the Dr Pepper wings. Theyll love em.

My review is solely about the new gardein vegan wings. The wings were basically just gardein vegan tenders with sauce on them. A little soggy, but still good. Nothing like the pictures advertised them to be. Great to have a vegan alternative though! I love Gardein.

This place has some pretty good fried pickles and me and my wife are fried pickle experts. We got the vampire flavor hot wings which is a spicy garlic flavor(cause vampires hate garlic)lol. This place is worth your time and money.

I went with my 2 girlfriends and loved the place. I have a very high spice level but still couldnt eat the "fire in the hole" wings. The other 2 sauces were Garlic parmesan which was mild and chipotle something, but that was sweet + spicy, not too spicy though. I will definitely visit another time for trying out the Buffalo sauce. Also, they usually have a long waiting, like we had to wait for 2 hours before we got our table. Therefore, you may want to call up ahead and enquire about your reservation time. We ordered a brownie too but it wasnt as good as the wings, too sweet.

Food was good, as usual. Depending on the time of day, service can be good or great. I love the variety of sauces and the Holy Macaroni is good enough to make you recite Scripture. Highly recommend it when paired with the chutney.

I like coming here for the food and to catch a game. The food tends to be on point and you get the sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TVs in sight. I do have a couple of complaints however. Of them the biggest is the wait times. The wait times can be over an hour sometimes and estimates arent always accurate. Even times that Ive requested a spot in line on Yelp the wait is still very long. My other complaint would be just the general wear and tear that the restaurant seems to have now. When I first came years ago, it was much more impressive. Now it appears that the floors need buffing and the booths feel worn out. Overall even though I do enjoy the food, these things make me second guess my choice on coming most times.

First experience with Pluckers, not a good one. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, sauce comes on the side and lettuce on it. Thats not very smart because the lettuce turned nasty after sitting on a hot chicken. I wont order it again. Will try their wings hopefully with better luck.

First time visiting. We got an appetizer called holy macaroni(deep fried Mac and cheese), wings, both parmesan garlic and basic buffalo sauces. Good flavors, except the garlic was overwhelming on the parmesan garlic wings...way too much. Our server was very helpful and friendly.

I left the White Linen party almost midnight and Pluckers were one of the only few restaurants that was open at the time. And thats a plus! I like spending money on those who really care to be there when we are stranded and have nowhere to go and eat .... while searching for a restaurant that would cater to us I saw a few unwelcoming posts, really saddening. I cant understand places who visibly have posting such as " bathroom are for customers only", they should remove that. Anyways I was glad to relax a bit in the cool and welcoming atmosphere at Pluckers, -outside it was humid and hot-and enjoyed some well made delicious food! Yesss it was early morning next morning, my birthday and the place was still heavily crowded with friendly people just having a blast!

Pluckers has a really good atmosphere. Food was wonderful service was excellent. Check picture below wings were Barbecue, Spicy Lemon Pepper,and Cajun dry rub. Sweet potatoes fries, Potatoes Cakes, Pineapple Margaritas it wasnt all that but food and service was excellent.

Pluckers is way better than buffalo wild wings and any wing place restaurant. I order their sweet tea, which is AMAZING and HUGE. I got the fried macaroni as an appetizer. May I say delicious. Their wings are so tasty and have alot of meat on it. First time ever trying this place out and I will be coming back again. The prices are cheap for the portion of food you get. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious and service is outstanding.

Be prepared to wait during peak hours. This place gets crowded and you will have to wait 20+min and have to valet (its complimentary). Its fun to join the trivia but if you are there and not participating it will get annoying real quick with how loud it gets. Food portions were big and prices were reasonable. I was very disappointed in the grilled cheese. The menu really talked it up but it was your basic Mrs. Bairds bread slices with 2 basic American cheese slices.
