Really delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

Lively, even chaotic, noisy, exotic, fairly expensive, out-of-the-way, yet people of many countries and all walks of life come in droves to experience the ambiance.

Little bit outside of the city, but very cool venue. Food was fantastic, best we had all week. Tonnes of vegetarian options, but enough meat options to stop the carnivores in our group from complaining. Price was fairly typical for Amsterdam.

Love the cozy atmosphere. I enjoy going there any season, inside or outside it is really nice to hang out with friends for drinks. The problem is, it is always crowded and not that much options for the food. I can still give 5 stars because I love it there.

When you get your cocktail in a wine glass. Cleaning the tables would be a plus. Trying to squeeze 2 adults at a table where not even a small kid could sit, also a big no!

Pllek is always lovely - the terrace is fantastic, food is good and staff is friendly.

I loved this place, I visited it twice, once in the evening and once during day time.To arrive there you can a ferry which is free of charge and then walk 5 mins to get there.During day time it is nice to lay down outside and enjoy the sea. While in the evening enjoy a good dinner and a drink.The waiters were so friendly and helpful.They even organise weekly events (check their monthly schedule)

Very cool place with a nice vibe. The food was good and the drinks were great. It is not every day that you can eat in a bunch of shipping containers so definitely a must try if you can.

Great place with indoor and outdoor seating along the river. The day we went it was an Ethiopian food festival going on and it was so much fun with great food and live music.We ordered different food items like spring rolls, sourdough bread, pizza and mojito in aperol.The restaurant was full but the food and service were great.

Love this huge bar in Amsterdam by the waterfront. It is self service at the bar, has a few eating options too. The view and the cool atmosphere are what I went here for.

Five stars for the location, three stars for the food (value for money definitely not worth it: curry dish was good not worth 20€ as well as a piece of brownie 8€ especially as we ate it on our laps during the open air movie night). Four stars for the movie experience, I felt it was too crowded so it would be best to regulate the number of people joining by reserving before coming in. We even didn’t get to sit properly on a chair / bench / pillow or long chair.

Perfect place to chill anytime of the day. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed and warm. Loved the beach in front of the place, where you can chill while looking at the beautiful landscape. Food -wise: They don’t have many vegan options, we went on drinking only, but for non vegans the dishes look really good. We love to come over here in wintertime and just spend a lazy Sunday afternoon on the sofa chilling in front of the fire. Lovely place, highly recommended if you hang out in Amsterdam and want to explore outside the city centre!

Pllek has a very nice location overlooking t ij. Great atmosphere and good food.We were able to have lunch without making a reservation. Theres an interesting choice of lunch items and most are great to share.

Loved the vibe. It feels a bit alternative, made me miss Berlin a bit less.People is super nice and chill, the personal is great.It gets busy but it isnt a problem, its part of the experience and I was so impressed for how they work and get good service done.On Tuesday they have an open air cinema 📽️. Its super leuk. The waitress got my order, took care of my table in a while I was gone to rent the headphones for the movie and she had the attention and coordination to get my food when I came back on time. I knew from another clients at the restaurant they were checking constantly to be on time. In a hectic rythm of work of a big place being full, so much appreciated. Theyre super nice and kind, made it look flawless to be a waitress. I know it isnt.Food is good, but just ok if you think in the price range, but I mean as a whole place its fine. I mean come on this is more a party place..cocteils are good.Bartender is very attentive, doesnt rush, ask exactly what you expect for ..cool and good at this job.Went another days to dance, super leuk free dance space, nice in a full moon to take a drink outside and let it be..Its in north and if you know which route to take, then biking there can be pretty nice as well ;)

Found this place on accident and loved it very much! Lot of place to sit and the food is very nice. Only one critical point: the cocktails were definitely diluted because there was barely alcohol in them.

Went there for lunch on a friday. It wasnt that crowded. Very cool place and great atmosphere. Food was okey as well. Quite easy to order and pay via QR codes. I will come back for a dinner as well.

We came in the North part of Amsterdam to visit the Amsterdam Street Museum in a rainy summer Sunday. We decide to have lunch in the neighborhood and finally end up in Pllek. Nice athmosphere, quite busy but, surprise surprise, the service staff was friendly and attentive, the food came in a reasonable time and was of good quality. We had falafel, Mackerels and burger. Well done!!!

Great place. Lots of different seatings outside and inside. Really comfy and chill. Great décoration. The menu is a bit small but you have choices depending on your tastes.To order you have to scan QR code and pay online, then the food is brought to you.

Perfect location but: food is blunt, waiting line is huge, had to remind about my order to stuff 5 times, got drinks after 1 hour of waiting. Other people who sat later than us got food and drinks earlier than us. Dont try ordering cocktails if youre not ready to wait an hour.

The location and the place is amazing!But I had the worst experience ever!I hope after this review, all the people expect what type of staff they hire.We all know, lately all the places are understaffed , so, no one is afraid of losing their job.But treating a person like they are nothing is also really wrong.I am talking about a blond girl and a black young man with glasses.Working specifically at the bar on 19/7/2022. The girl taking orders, the guy making cocktails.It all started from a mistake from them , the girl didnt print the receipt but just told us to go to the guy and request the cocktails.We waited 20 minutes and he didnt even look at us. After that, I approached him and requested the cocktails.He told me if I dont have a receipt, he wont make any cocktails.I asked him to check with the girl , she didnt give us anything.He said:" go, find the girl and ask her to come to me"Like seriously? But okay, I tried to find her but she moved to the other side of the bar serving people.So ,I asked another guy with beard, young.He was working with the girl taking orders and he remembered my face.He then told the guy to make the cocktails but the black guy refused.Then we started having an argument and I told him its : your fault he did not understand that I meant you" as plural and he started insulting me and then told me : be silent and then I will make drinks for you.I told him, thats not the way you treat someone and asked to talk to the manager who never arrived and then he made drinks right away.He treated us like pieces of sh**t.I could have taken a video of both of them while they were shouting at us. But I dont want to ruin his career.Probably they work occasionally, so nothing will happen.

Large restaurant with both outside and inside seating. Funky and relaxed vibe. Was a bit surprised to find the food menu was not very extensive. Would he good to see more options. The food that we did order though was tasty and well presented.

need to visit while in Amsterdam, just take a F4 ferry to Noord Amsterdam from terminal, it is free and take just 10 min.Food is delicious, fish (sea bass), beet salad and various appetizers are spectacular.Prices are reasonable and you can spend an afternoon here. i would recommend to get there around 4 pm if you get later you will find a wait time for a table.

Such a nice place to stay and chill.We ordered coffee and some cheese cake, they were Incredible!The view to the port is beautiful.

This is one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam.You can chill on the waterside, listen to live music (Djand have a bite or a nice cocktail. The staff is always cool even if theyre super busy and they keep it tidy at all times.During winter you can chill around the fire inside and during summer weekends theres almost always a camp fire on the beach. Check out their program for cool events!They welcome families and groups alike. The art on the walls changes every month or so, make sure to check out the top floor to discover local artists. Dinner menu is almost always interesting as well.

Great place in Amsterdam to escape the crowds and to have a drink and some food. Food menu is limited, but the quality is perfect. You can order and pay using a QR code, so no need to grab the attention of a waiter

Its an interesting spot definitely. Theres a beach in an industrial surrounding and you can get a drink or some food there

The food is delicious. I had a wonderful rhubarb desert and the best falafels I ever tried. However, though pleasantly urban/industrial the building is and nice the view is, this place is terribly crowded and noisy, which does not make is very comfortable and enjoyable.

Lovely outdoor space. Plenty of space to let kids run around during the day. Drinks are solid, food is good for the outdoor space. Often crowded on a sunny day, so don’t expect a table to yourself

A cool place to grab a drink or snacks. They have a mini beach where some live music takes place every now and then. We came here for the Photo Booth on the second floor. Very fun shooting process: it’s hard to be prepared and the photos are unpredictable. But that’s the fun part!

We were at a festival in a venue close by and we stopped for a late lunch / early dinner. The staff was very friendly and kind.We had a starter with eggplants, egg and some hummus, very good.The dish of the day, ricotta ravioli wasnt that great.Service was quick and efficient.31€ per person for a starter and a main course

This place is super cute and fake beach is very chill.The food…… very basic. The fish I ordered is basically white toast with can fish. Like….ummm…okay…While we were chilling out side enjoying the view. There were bunch of stupid kids playing soccer. Then, they kicked my wine which were spit all over my jacket.My mood was totally ruined so we leave. Pllek staffs should have warned those kids to stop. Quite disappointed afternoon because of these stupid kids.

One of the most unique places in Amsterdam. Great food drinks and music. Come anytime of day and youll have a treat. Great views of the river ij and the city across!

Soup was cold, it wasnt stated in the description that the dish was served cold.Avocado sandwich was plain.Steamed mackerel sandwich was good though.

Always my fav place for chilling with my friends! The sunset view here is superb and also very convenient as it is very close by the ferry!

Great “beach” terrace by the Ij river, perfect place for sunny beers and snacks. Service system isn’t great when it’s busy - queuing up or ordering by QR and can take half an hour to get a beer when it’s busy. But once you do, it’s a great spot and they even have live music sometimes too.

Various options for vegetarian dishes, I had the baba ghanoush for starter, ravioli for main dish and pumpkin cake for dessert. Lovely, everything was tasty and in particular the baba ghanoush was creatively made and plated! Hype place in Amsterdam Noord, reservation is highly recommended (unless you don’t mind waitingbecause I was there on Wednesday evening (was cold!and it was still very crowded. Luckily I had made the reservation so it’s fine. Would love to come back there again when the weather is warm ;)

From other reviews it looked like more of a restaurant, at night it seems to be a club though.Super cool neighbourhood in general, NDSM, easy to reach with the ferry which is for free, and also the Pllek was super uncomplicated, just walking in, big dancefloor, and especially the outside area with bonfires at the beach was amazing.Cocktails were quite strong, so that‘s good, tastewise could have been a bit better.Really liked the place and would definitely recommend.

I am usually not a critic but this one deserves it.I have been to this place a many times, unfortunately with every visit the level of service keeps on decreasing.Went there again this Sunday afternoon for some live music. The place was completely dis organised, people were waiting in the queue to enter but there was no one to tell them if they can grab a table or do they need to wait for some one to let them be seated. Asked one of the waitress and the reply was "i dont know, today is a mess". She seemed to be very stressed with work.After 15 mins of wait in the queue, we managed to find a table on our own.Table was very dirty. We asked for menu and to get the table cleaned, after 20 mins a waitress cleaned the table to a level where we had to clean again with some tissue or else sleeves of our tshirts would have been dirty. Menu was still missing, we grabbed ome from nearby table.Considering how much time it was taking, we decided to order main course plus dessert in one go. Main course came after 30 mins and was bit cold but still was delicious. Once we eat main course, our plates were taken away, we reminded them that we have ordered desserts as well, we were told they are on their way. 30 mins passed after last reminder, we reminded again that we are still waiting for desserts, same answer they are on their way. After 50 mins of waiting we paid for main course and left without a dessert.This is the end of my visits to Pllek

I would come here for the unique vibes. The restaurant is in a really cool area, very different from the center of Amsterdam. Edgy, upscaled recycling-- loved it, such a breath of fresh air. The restaurant itself is massive, with a big outside area and nice views of the water. The service was a bit on the slow side, but the food (lots of vegetarian optionsand atmosphere was great. If youre here to chill and enjoy the vibes, youre in the right place!We had drinks and snacks on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Stood in line for a bit to get the QR-codes checked, which didnt take too long. But I would recommend to make reservations just for the ease.

Good selection for vegan and vegetarian. Love the ambiance with the disco ball hanging above a beautiful fire place. There is seating for small groups but also for large ones. Recommend for team outings.Only thing was findings this place. Seems to be hidden in a corner. They could have better signs.

Place has it’s charm as it has waterfront and weird containers-meet-warehouse vibe. Menu has become bit shorter now but good presentation and taste. Service is as slow as ever, but the qr code scanning is better than old menu’s. I most likely will return as well as will recommend the place.

A lovely place to spend the day on a warm day. Close to canal, so you can see the boats etc. Food and service is good. You have to book on a sunny day as it gets very full with long queues. Also great to walk around the area. The restaurant has great deco.
