Very lovely urban park with an enormous fountain. A tranquil oasis in the heart of Montevideo.
MoreOf all the plazas in Montevideo, this one has to be my favorite
Ok
Beautiful place
A little plaza and park in the center of the downtown area.
Neat and clean. Nice place to take a deep breath
The statue its nice
Went for lunch to LA Pasiva, excellent service
Great space to enjoy! Good for some distance considering the circumstances
The Plaza del Entrevero is a quaint peaceful public Plaza, directly in the City Center on the Main Bulevard, with many benches surrounding the incredible Bronze Statue of Fighting Gauchos. If youre hungry, on one corner of the Plaza is the well known Uruguayan cuisine restaurant, "La Pasiva", where you can order anything from the traditional "Chivito" to Hotdogs served with German Beer Mustard (Really Delicious). Or quench your thirst with an Ice Cold Beverage. Just a wonderful outdoor environment to rest your feet and satisfy your appetite. Enjoy!
MoreUnluckily, as of 2020 homeless people inhabit in this plaza.
2020 Visit to Uruguay
Nice park
The place was very beautiful and muy tranqillooo. Peaceful location!!
excelent place to visit and enjoy the environment!
💕
Very nice place to relax
Great to visit in the morning or day, especially on a Sunday, where shops are closed, there are less people and very good photos of the surrounding old buildings, art-decó style, can be taken. During the week, its nice to visit and have a coffee. In the night is relatively safe, but gets some people of suspicious look, I wouldnt recommend it
MoreIn my opinión the most beautiful square.
This was a very pleasant park when we walked through on the evening. It was well lit and many people were relaxing on the grass.
MoreVery pretty square. La Pasiva is overrated and much too expensive, but the mini-Louvre is super cute
MoreUnique and brilliant monument to the soldiers of the battle for Uruguayan independence.
MoreSuch a beautiful place, nature is quite preserved, and close to the centre to walk around. Also very noisy at times.
MoreIts amazing the contrast of this park. One the one hand,it has wonderful tango dancing when the weather is nice, with some good places to eat all around. Then on the other it has people hassling you for money or some of your food if you dare to eat at the park, dog poop, public drug use, and not a single cop in sight. I want to like the place, I really do, but...
MoreQuiet, beautiful, safe, clean, and on Saturndays the local get together for beautiful Tango in the afternoon
MoreNice plaza for talking and sitting areas. Amazing library in the middle.
Nice square in downtown Montevideo. All kinds of stores around
This used to be one of the prettiest squares in Montevideo not so many years ago. Unfortunately, the latest city’s administrations have paid little attention to this place, so nowadays it’s mostly disgusting. There’s almost no grass, the fountain is always turned off and completely dirty. It’s a real pity.
MoreCozy square to sit down and watch the water fountain for a while. Could get interrupted by peddlers, but it just adds to the overall picture and particularities of the place.
MoreEvergreen and cleanest square in Montevideo, Plaza del Entrevero allows us to enjoy a green view with its magnificent fountain surrounded by many buildings that reflect its magnificence in their windows.
MoreNice outdoor space... In the center of Montevideo... Cold beer and S frankfurter after 10 miles of walking and exploring...
MoreNice square with fountain and a statue. And a " La Pasiva " restaurant. Some dancing during summer nights.
MoreVery nice green area in the middle of the City!!!
Beautiful place to stop and stay outside and breath a fresh air
Great for a pic!
A really lovely place and very tranquil
There is very good cafe to spend some time there. The place have a very good atmosphere.
MoreNice to sit and have a quick beer but very overpriced for what it is.
Grat place to take some pictures, eat something and drink a chop (beer). If you are in Montevideo, visit this spot is mandatory.
MoreBeautiful plaza. In the afternoon, people gather there to dance Tango. A must see.
MoreNice, but not special by any means
Games for kids and restaurants. Easy to park
A popular place in Montevideo, great artwork, trees, benches, trash cans, a place to buy art and theres a nice place for eating outside.
MoreA very nice area to join friends and enjoy a night sharing time
It has some good options for eating, e.gLa Passiva, which is responsible for conserving the park too. It also has a cozy and interesting library. A couple of years ago, it use to host an art exhibition called SubTe. At Christmas, the park is garnished with several adornments.
MoreNice square with a monument
It is a quite placa ay Montevideo downtown near old city
