Tourist Police?
Ok
it is worth the walk.
Great place to hang and walk around with friends and family to be with to have some fun
MoreGreat place to visit
It’s look like similar with the other square but it’s not, it’s far better then the others. First of all it’s a clean, warm, not so crowded and very symmetrical and you can enjoy the historic buildings but more then that there are good places for dine in or a coffee break, art exhibitions which you can find something for you home, book stores, good pharmacies etc. As I said it’s look similar but it’s not. It’s a must if you visit Cochobamba. Go for it you’ll not regret it !!!
MoreNowadays is not that full, but it depends on the day, but is a beautiful place to talk, and do some activities.
MoreClean,...nicely kept gardens..too many pigeons
Bella
A beautiful and well-maintained plaza full of places to sit and things to see! The area around the plaza is beautiful, surrounded by Spanish colonial architecture and small cafes and restaurants. The area also generally feels safe and is pleasant to walk through during downtown excursions.
MoreMain square of the city, main attraction i guess is the fountain and the doves.
Very nice square, full of palm trees and surrounded by colonial buildings
Beautiful
Must feed the pegions and relax
Nice place to relax, enjoy the sun or just drink a fruit juice. The "jugo" ladies are very nice and their fruit juices, mainly oranges, are awesome and all have great taste.
MoreGreat historical site with art museums and cathedrals. I ended up meeting some Bolivian tv celebrity. Good times. This was winter time, Im sure theres more in the summer
MoreIts a busy place, right next to the Bolivian DMV office (tránsito), controlled by the local police. If you go to do any paperwork this way, this would be the best spot to park, as there are people constantly watching the cars.
MoreToo many people and many dont use mask, need. The place need more control from the authorities
MoreVery peaceful place to be relaxing
Beautiful park ,very awesome gardening work
Nice place to walk and take pictures
We went to this plaza after a light rain, while the sun was about to set and let me tell you it felt a little magical. The sun was breaking through the tall tropical trees, reflecting off of the ornate pavement, and European style buildings. Children ran and laughed, feeding and scaring the multitude of pigeons which huddled together in masses on the ground and fountains and peppered through out every corner. Lovers sat on park benches, turned inward with no awareness of an outside world. As if they too can sense how often this place can be magical, photographers stand, their hands on their lenses ready to capture your moment forever and print out a quick copy of your happiness, for a fee of course...Vendors in the park will sell you a variety of things to help you make your experience better: food for the birds, bubbles, toys.Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Good shade.
MoreIt is a lovely place full of trees and a fountain, but it need to be maintain a bit often.
MoreIts one of the most traditional places in Cochabamba
Lovely place. Small area but a fair amount of history here, some of the buildings still have their original window frames etc which are like those from the old western films—very interesting.
MoreThis is a great tourist destination. If youre in the area, you need to check it out
MoreStandard plaza in Bolivian towns. Nice with a good coffee shop on the North East corner.
MoreSunday morning at la plaza 14 de septiembre is very quiet and relaxing. The water fountain right at the center surrounded by hundreds of friendly doves following you to feed them "maicitos".The beautiful Catedral San Simón highly recommended. At first sight the church isnt attractive, then as you enter especially through both sides and look up to the ceiling, it is really a work of art.Mass hrs were at ten and noon.
MoreAmazing church around the September 14 Church 🙏
Beautiful city,great food
Nice central plaza with cafes and everything
Great spot ,especially at Christmas time
Plaza de armas Cochabamba, colonial style -Hispanic-American - fountain of the three graces - column of heroes - metropolitan cathedral
MoreAn iconic place surrounded by historical buildings and landmarks , the fountain is a popular place for meetings and the local hobbie: to feed the pigeons (theres bird food sellers around)
Morethe main square of cochabamba located in the center part of downtown
nice kolonial main square recently restored...beautiful trees with name plates, fountain, condor on column..good place to relax and observe the natives
MoreNice plaza beautiful gardens, the amazing condor, adorable place
The square itself is beautiful though its a shame its constantly filled with posters and banners advocating this and that.
MoreNice plaza but wasnt taken care of.
This is a great plaza to spend some time in. It is well cared for, has water features, statues, and is surrounded by interesting buildings. Often there is some art or music performances, political groups, or other activity going on. Many people hang around and relax, which feels nice. No wifi hot spot at the moment, but who cares with all the people watching.
MoreA nice place to relax and just watch people doing their stuff
Its an amazing place and is great to be there. However, if youre going to go there you shouldnt go too late because the streets near to this place dont have a good appearance. But, youll find a lot of amusement and, of course, great food. Definitely, you must visit this place if you go to Cochabamba.
MoreJust feels good feeding the pigeons! 😊
