Plaza Tempo in Heredia
Description
Privilege
Good variety of restaurants and great quality!Restaurants close too early on Sundays (8pmwhich is inconvenient. That is my only complain about the place.
MoreNice place to work at. And there are good options to eat at first floor.
Lots of choices to eat and drink.
Plaza tempo is Good place to visit for food and some shopping, but mostly food. Good parking , easy in and easy out. Nice to spend some time and chill
MoreGood food and vibe
Great ambience and good choices of places to eat.
There are good restaurants at Plaza Tempo and decent parking, but management confuses pet friendliness with being permissive with people that bring dogs that disturb the peace. we sat at a restaurant listening to one particular dog bark for 90 minutes, practically without stopping. After about 30 minutes of listening to this dog we informed the security guard, but there was no effect. Some dog owners are not very conscious; it is up to establishments to protect the ambiance for the majority of its users.
MoreDid NOT hate it. We ate at a restaurant, walked through the food court area, and left. Did not shop anywhere. So, no idea what I think of area.
MoreTerrible experience, I took my pet puppy after researching online if this was a pet friendly location, and to be fair they allow dogs, but we got kicked out of a restaurant because the dog was not allowed to be there, same restaurant that in plaza Real even gave our dog treats and water. We tried to make it work but we had to leave after being asked to move from the place that we were having lunch. So dont go here to eat if you plan on taking your pet along.
MoreSuper recommended, all kind of food
Great for a group meal with different tastes
Amazing food market with lots of choices, good vibes
Truly enjoyed the food options that were all so diverse and we tried several different place and the food was great.
MoreAll the variety you need. This place has something for everyone
A must go to eat! A variety of different high class restaurants with quality food! Best Sangria in town!
MoreAll I can say is wow. This place has it on with so much selection and quality of products.
MoreGreat place to have most anything..even a short break.
Some good restaurants. Big variety at the food court, mostly international food. The car entrance is awkward. But theres a big paying parking lot. But then, why would you pay to go eat at a mall in the middle of nowhere? Its not like youd leave the car and go visit anything nice from there!
MoreFew clothes shops and an amazing food court with something for everyone Chef Rafael Carne Al Fuego is wonderful perfectly cooked .I myself am a retired Chef from San Francisco and Santa Cruz California with some awards for cooking.
MoreExcellent an a various types of food from every ware
Good quality&Price ..excellent options for different dishes
Nice place, yo can find different type of food and some stores!
The foodcourt is unique! With food from all over the world by country. I was at the German stand, were I had a Dutch sausage! Expensive but very good! The Spanish stand is also very good. In total about 20 stands/restaurants, all from different countries! Well worth trying.
MoreThis place is what a food-court should be. It is located on the ground level of a hotel, and has more than a dozen mini restaurants. This isnt some mall food-court with awful fast food. Every place here makes the food to order, and boy oh boy there is a large selection to choose from. There are foods from all around the world and so far everything Ive tried has been delicious. I actually look forward to any excuse I can get to go back, even if it means going a little out of my way to do so.
MoreA must visit place when you are un Escazu. Different restaurants with international cuisine , from Thai food to Argentinan steaks .. all in between.. the ambiance is beautiful, food is great .
MoreGood selection of restaurants - the Indian restaurant at back is amazing in quality, expensive, but amazing. Good covid restrictions followed and was comfortable to eat at.
MoreGreat shopping mall with awesome food options. Highly recommend if you are in Alajuela/San Jose.
MoreGreat gastronomic experience!
I was really impressed by the variety of food vendors and coziness, and cleanliness. I had some great tacos and beer here.
MoreSo many good choices of food its hard to decide. Great place to get together with friends where everyone can choose different foods. My favorite...so far!....is the Indian stand....oh and the beautiful tiny cupcake place
MoreA must-visit if you’re around escazu. Lots to offer about international cuisine. The Koren is recommended.
MoreVery nice place with lots of different food options from several countries. Totally worth a visit to try different food.
MoreGood place to be and lunch
Nice place to hang out to eat. There are great selection from ramen noodles to regular American food. There are offices too, it makes one want to find a job over here to enjoy lunch or dinner here everyday.
MoreGreat place for lunch or dinner. Lots of variety of dishes and different types of cuisine. Would reccomend to anyone if theyre in the area.
MoreIts a great place for lunch, youll find diverse restaurants (not so many vegan options). Nice place to go with friends or family 🙂
MoreGreat food selection. They converted this place into a gourmet destination
Plaza Tempo is great as it has some fun eating in their Mestizo Food Court. You can sit out in the sun or more inside in the shade. Then there are also some restaurants with regular seating. My food experience is limited as I have been there 4 different times & eaten the same dish as I find it outstanding at the Kamikaze stall. If I remember the name of the dish correctly, it is chicken kung pao servered over rice or rice noodles. It comes in a bowl & is a little pricante, but with excellent seasonings. I have the same drink each time also, Jamaica with ginger. The cost around 7.000 colones. The other food stalls have some very interesting offerings. I go for lunch & on weekends after 1pm, the tables are completely full. A fun eating experience.
MoreWe came here for lunch, so can’t really say much about the shops. The restaurant selection is very good, and helps with those members of our group that can’t decide on where to eat.Very clean and maintained seating areas, easy parking and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back here again in the future.
MoreThis is actually a nice commercial plaza with a large assortment of restaurants (offices upstairsand a cinema. If you are in multiplaza search for the back entrance or go through the exit near spoon then through the parking lot downhill, follow the street next to pricesmart to reach plaza tempo. Plaza tempo is isolated but nice to seat and eat. It is off the highway, best when coming back into the city, not when heading to the beach.
MoreGreat place , wide food offering in different small restaurants. Very artisanal , organic style of food. Very convenient for large groups of visitors with different food habits.
MorePlaza Tempo seems to have revived with the arrival of the "El Mestizo" food plaza. The huge diversity of food and drink it provides attracted many other restaurants to the outer area of the plaza and that, plus the long standing tenants (a government agency, a hotel, a couple banks, a Theather, a University...round-up the offer.Basically, you will always find something to eat or drink here. If you are around, check it out!It has lots of parking space, so that should not ever be an issue.
MoreAbsolutely gorgeous shopping Lexus dealership PF Chang Restaurant and many more restaurants no Beggars on the streets
MoreReally nice place the hotel is located here and theres a lot of good restaurants
Plaza Tempo has great restaurants and plenty of places to watch a game. A short walk from Avenida Escazu which is another place to see if you are visiting Escazu, CR
MoreIts hard to get here as traffic is pretty much impossible at all times of day. No free parking available, only underground at a steep price. Ive eaten in various places here and I can safely say they are all of average quality but grossly overpriced. Nevertheless, its a chill place once you are here and they just recently opened the "Tabernita Meraki", which is an extension of a street food restaurant in San José Downtown, that should be a treat. In all honesty, just the addition of that restaurant accounts for 2 of the 3 stars this place gets from me.
MoreHere it is like a "gastronomic rout" with over 20 restaurants with various Latin America traditional dishes and even one "Buffalo Wings" restaurant. Also service is pretty fast and food taste good too.
MoreThe place is cool and with a good vibe. There are several locals to choose, I ate at the pataconeria, there was no hamburger so I choose Mar y Tierra plate it has few shrimp and the meat was very chewy.
MoreIs awesome. This place is a must.
It is a nice place to go eat and see what the specialty shops have there (expensive things). It is an open place with decent paid parking and it is like a much smaller version of avenida escazu. Also on a side note, the banco nacional here is usually empty.
