Trinidad 62600, Cuba, Cienfuegos
A marble sculpture & benches adorn this landmark city square surrounded by historic buildings.
One if the most beauty cities in cuba.
Good place to remember if you get lost.
Just across the park beside the church you can go listen to live bands and dance all evening!
So cute and theres live music on some evenings
👌👍 excellent
lovely place 😃
Square is pretty but a little run down like everything in Cuba.
Trinidad is fun. Way more fun than Cienfuegos... Make sure you go to the Casa de la Musica... Also beach down south is not too bad...
You need a lots of words to describe Trinidad. One of the best place in the world for relaxing drinking eating and dancing.
Such a beautiful Plaza. The plaza is on the smaller size but is well kept. Along side the plaza are some historical mansions that actually give tours in English. If you get a change to go through one they are very informative how the people with money lived 100s of years ago.Streets are still made out of cobblestone and are hard to walk on but this is part of the charm of the UNESCO city of Trinidad.
Another plaza or Town square. No different from the other dozen I saw. Shops and restaurants abound. Of course, nothing is air conditioned so no respite from the heat and humidity.
Lovely place to visit ! I recommend it.
This place for me is 100 percent recommend. So unique and amazing, you can find museums around and in the night is really nice. I can’t even imagine how much story around this place. I loved it.
It’s a beautiful main plaza where you can enjoy sunny and bright weather, good music and vibes, beautiful and colorful views and - WiFi!The locals say that the best WiFi spot is actually not near the stairs, it’s behind casa de la musica.Check it out ;)
Small beautiful plaza that really comes alive at night! There is a crystal in the cathedral that is said to have come from explorers who landed in Trinidad due to storms. After they left, they left behind the crystal which is on display inside the church and locals believe the crystal protects Trinidad from storms as none had hit that part of Cuba ever since the crystal was left behind. At night you can see this area of Trinidad come alive as locals and tourists gather in nearby restaurants and have a good time!
Lovely views are sunset
Nice center of town. Trinidad was the nicest city that I visited in Cuba.
Trinidad is cosy cute small town.Mmm... It is one flore town.May be the most Cuban town on Cuba.
Fun quaint town. Safe. Relaxing with small clubs
A beautiful small town painted with vibrant colors that bring the clear of the historic ambience. Stonewalls paved with stone and the carriage return to rich Cuban history. The Cuban music rhythms are spreading everywhere like the Cuban smile and courtesy.
Nice plaza to do wifi.
One of the best spots in Trinidad! Go the at dawn!
Plaza Mayor is a beautiful and historic place. Vistors will enjoy the art gallery, two amazing museums (one with a bell tower), and historical architecture. The musuems focus on the culture, the practices, and showcase the revolution. This place is a must see.
Nice park and square in Trinidad. Best place for night walk and social gatherings. Cathedral, park and big stairs, all very Cuba-authentic.
Very nice place to visit
This is a central spot to hang out, eat, take pictures, and people watch. There are people here at all hours of the day and night, so its a great place to come to. Its also a public wifi spot. Theres usually someone selling the wifi cards out here. He charges double the official price but for most tourists the difference is negligible. In the evening, the restaurants around here sell drinks for as low as $1.50. Theres also live music to enjoy on the steps.
This is where to go while in Trinidad. The church, Casa de la música, sellers of souvenirs are all around this beautiful Corner.
Beautiful square in the centre of Trinidad de Cuba.
The Plaza Mayor. Above the square, Church of the Holy Trinity; to right of church, Brunet Palace. In distance on hill, Ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria de la Popa. The Plaza Mayor in Trinidad, Cuba, is the historic centre of the town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988.
Very nice to visit and learn more on the history of this city.
Beautiful plaza lots of restaurants in the immediate area. I highly recommend Vista Gourmet! The food, service, and view is world class!
Beautiful place, a lot of history and culture, a place "must visit" when you are in Cuba. Look around the place for the museums and historical buildings. A real heritage of the history!
Amazing place to listen to live music up until midnight each night with lots of seating on the steps. Lots of activity. Table service with reasonable priced drinks. Great atmosphere and vibe. Lots of salsa music and dancing in you want or just hang out and chill. Also one of the WiFi spots in town. Trinidad is a great place and a must visit spot.
A truly beautiful spot – one of Cubas most picturesque. Plus its a great spot for people watching (many there for the wifiand the best music spots are mere steps away. Not to be missed to any visit to Cuba.
Beautiful. Historic. Busy! Lots of tourists, at least during peak season. But certainly worth a visit if youre in the area.
Nice space with some picturesque buildings surrounding it
There are not huge differences between each of the Cuban cities but this area is cobbled and clean with some nice restaurants and more importantly not very many fume belching trucks
All around Plaza Mayor you can find all important attractions. I love that place - colourful houses, old cars,... in the souroundings you can take a horseback riding to the countryside.
Nice architecture n a good place to relax in the evening
Great time just beware of the cobbles
Beautiful plaza. I was slightly disappointed due to many shops not opening despite all of them posting business hours. None of the museums or shops opened until later in the day, some didnt open at all.
Only attraction in Trinidad after sunset, live music, entry fees is $1 CUP after 7pm. If youll end up having one drink, the staff will almost harass you from 2min to 2min asking if you want one more. I decided to buy a Havana bottle for $9cup just to be left alone :decent pricey and friendly staff (taking about Casa de la Musica).
Absolutely beautiful UNESCO world heritage site. The town square captures the splendour of a once busy and affluent port city of Cuba. A bit pricier than other cities of Cuba
The Plaza Mayor in Trinidad, Cuba, is the historic centre of the town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988.The buildings surrounding the plaza (central squaredate from the 18th and 19th centuries when trade in sugar from the nearby Valle de los Ingenios and the slave trade brought great riches to the area. Many of the buildings surrounding the plaza belonged to the wealthy landowners of the city. When the trade in sugar diminished and the slave trade ended in the mid-19th century, Trinidad became a backwater and little building work occurred until the 1950s. As a result, many of the historic buildings and streets were preserved, especially the grand colonial edifices in the immediate vicinity of the Plaza Mayor. Today, most of the former houses surrounding the square serve to house museums.
Typical tourist destination in Havana. Beautiful Colonial buildings surrounded by cars from the 1950s to decorate a little.
Good spot for chilling nice for photos
Beautiful and very well preserved square you can admire some very nice sunsets here.
Great place to see on sunshine.
Awesome place to sit and enjoy the moment! Whether its a little break youre taking from sightseeing of town or just wanna chill.
In my opinion, this is the nicest square in Havana. Lots of nice buildings around, music coming out of the numerous touristic restaurants all around.
