CleanWell maintainedWell litBig space for parking
This is a public place. Very neat nice place to lax
Best place to relax & unwind
Clean and nice!! I loved the local ice cream!!
Its fairly clean. Though some of the area needs improvement and maintenance. Just like thep ponds with bridges. I hope the city government will treat the park just like Davaos Peoples Park.
Beautiful places and very relaxing 😎
Very nice place for picture taking😁😄
A breath of fresh air featuring the statue of General Santos, infront of the Pioneer; one of Gensans iconic asset and foundation.
Nice place to play Pokémon Go. Plenty of shade, benches and Pokémon gyms.
great place to stay if you wish to relax for a while
Its nice and clean with some small stores around at night to buy some foods but too dark at night. No enough lighting and security.
A nice place to spend time with your family and love ones. A good place for jogging and exercise also. For group practices its also a very good place to do.
Fresh air, safe place to jog and do some outdoor sports or play with pets
Located at the heart of the city near the City Hall of General Santos where you can unwind to relax your mind from your hectic work schedule. Breathe in the natural air and enjoy the coolness of surrounding.
Its a nice, cool place to bond with family and friends.
cool place
Very good... nothing else to say.
One of my favourite places in Gensan. When in Gensan, my wife and I, finish our morning prayer , around 5.30 am.We buy hot pandisal and coffee and go to the park. Spend 2 hours, watching Gensan waking up and the sun rising behind the trees. Its a nicely kept and maintained place.February 20,2022Have the same feeling about the place. We changed our visit timing. We go there in the evening. There are many food carts which makes the plaza more lively.More children in the weekends, maybe due to lifting covid-19 restrictions.
This Plaza, named after the city’s name and considered hero, General Santos, is located in front of the city hall, surrounding other local government offices. It is a spacious plaza good for walking and jogging but more importantly to display its rich culture and to commemorate all these heroes of the country. Unique to the plaza is a statue dedicated to all the fisherfolks of the land who perished for the tuna industry of the city.
Very clean.. and has a quiet ambianceA perfect place to unwind 😘😘With family and friends..A+ place to see here in Gensan. 💖💖
It is good to experience a public plaza after all these times and seeing the influx of people in public and reading some signs of excitement to experience a new normal. I like the marquee #MetroGensan. It is very futuristic and very visionary. Though the whole place is not what I expected when it comes to lightings, as I have witnessed other city halls in the Phils shine brighter than GenSan, it is still good giving smiles and hopes to people. 😊
Beautiful place in the middle of the city. Its clean and nice place to be when its not raining.
After Church ⛪ 😌 me and my son was having a good time there in a day time.👍👍👍 so clean and so peaceful from our photos, you can see how beautiful nature wa in Heneral plaza in.
I find this Plaza very relaxing because of their trees.
Its a good place to spend leisure time with family and friends but as of the moment, some parts of it are not maintained. Anyways, that being said, the trees and grasses give a relaxing feel.
What a beautiful Tuesday morning .
Always a nice place to Jog in the morning. If you wish to see green in Gensan, this is the place to visit.
Nice to chill..You can do Bicycle...And a Park you can let your Children Play..I can say its a Great place to sit and relax.
Not crowded, the trees and all are well maintained
Theres no public restrooms, and there are no lights at night. Its clean though, child-friendly, accessible to those with wheelchairs too.
The place is so green. Lots of trees can be found, though I hope theyll plant more. The guards are very strict about keeping off the grass, which is actually nice. The only thing I dont like is how benches are placed, which is either near or away from the shade. These get so hot to sit during noontime.
Its a nice place to exercise, meet with a group or simply doze under a tree. Plenty of parking areas too. All without fees involved.
The place is good to hangout. But sometimes there are many beggars that is annoying.
I like walking through the plaza whenever some of the trees leaves change its color 😄 gives off an Autumn vibe 🍁🍂
Enough open space for the community. Some common local birds can be seen here.
Went for a casual night walk here. The place is generally safe and it’s not crowded. It doesn’t offer much of an enthusiastic view but it sure is a decent place to unwind. General Santos City is a nice place!
Good place, located at the center of the city, fronting the Catholic church, right side the INC near the government offices , schools ,hotels fastfoods and others
A big plaza or park in General Santos City. Good place to get some fresh air.
It was a very wonderful place and it is good for relaxation.
Photos were taken on a Sunday afternoon after attending the mass at a nearby church - Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. It was a good day for a scroll as theres no traffic downtown and there are not a lot of people in the park. Changes can be observed especially for someone like me who hadnt walked the area for quite some time. Its clean and green. People can have stay though the shady area with benches installed but its still is the old plaza I used to walk into just some new features added.
Do my running here almost every morning. Very relaxing. They have awesome speakers around has that calming effect.
Plaza Heneral Santos hits a milestone during its launching as a Public Wifi Zone through the efforts of the Local Government and the support of Smart, the countrys leading telecommunications company. Cool!
I love this clean and green park here in Gensan. Im ecstatic also that this public place is now a wifi free area.
It is generally a wheelchair friendly park except for the area where the statue of General Santos is located, but then a person with mobility problems can still have a picture of the statue from a nearby area at a different angle. There are paths and ramps everywhere. The problem of the disabled persons would come from vehicle owners who park and block the ramps. The reserved parking space for the disabled is also used by just anyone. Its great the park has a memorial for the fishermen who died because of Bagyong Pablo.(Typhoon PabloAny tourist is recommended to visit the park as it offers a nice view of the City Hall, the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Church and the once center of economic activity of the city, the downtown or the Pioneer Street
One of the best spot of General Santos is its Plaza where youll get a touch of relaxing ambiance of an arboretum that "somewhat" helps your eyes retreat from the citys concrete body.. A bit nature-like place.
