Great beach
Good enough to hang out
This is probably the calmest beach Ive ever been to when it comes to the sea itself; it almost feels like being in a pool.Definitely a great option for kids.As for the entire beach... well, its okay.It could use with some maintenance, as parts of it feel a little dirty. And the other thing is that prices are excessive for food, and its not even that good.If you have the means, take your own food, drink, and shade, and then youll have the best time ever.
MoreAmazing beach especially for young kids as the surf is very light and easy to swim. Great for snorkeling
MoreIf you are using google maps to get to the beach, be aware that the road it tells you to drive down has been partially washed away. Youll hit a dead end and need to turn around! In order to get to the beach you need to make the first left once you see the beach and water, and then find parking by the restaurants. The beach itself can get very crowded. Its definitely very family oriented which is nice. But dont expect much quiet and peace!
MoreA bit crowded and the road to the beach looks a bit disgusting. But the beach itself is clean and very good for kids
MoreBeautiful view. Cozy beach with occasional vendors who were friendly and respectful. Great food and great price. They were super nice to accommodate our request for a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu 😊
MoreIdeal for big families, easy to access. Not very clean specially on weekends.
Great place. Nice beach. Better prices.
The food is great, and it very nice to swim 😍
I liked the beach but sometimes gets crowded. I liked that there are restaurants by the beach and convenience stores very close.
MoreBeautiful little bay, good food, drinks, and service at Hotel Piedra Blanca Beach bar.
MorePlaya La Mazanilla is one of our favorite Beaches to go . The beach is great but we go for the local food. They have several restaurants on the beach under Palapas . Oysters divers swim in with there catch and shuck and sell them up and down the Beach. It is mostly locals hear ,but they treat you like one of there own. A large parking lot , where for 30 pesos ( about $1.50 U.S.you can park all day. The Restaurants close around 6:00 P.M. Love the whole Red Snapper Grilled.
MoreIts beautiful and not busy. Good for coming ashore in the dingy! Essay walk to get supplies and to the restaurants.
MoreGood food and service. Big drinks right on the beach. Abit out of the way but well worth it.
MoreThere are very few restaurants here and the prices are higher than Los Ayala. There are still venders Hawking their stuff even though the beach is quite small. The area seems rundown. I dont see us returning.
MoreIt was a little touristy and crowded. There are a lot of vendors. We were overcharged at a restaurant. But it is a beautiful beach.
MoreThere are restaurants nearby where you can eat, most of them are small, if there are a lot of people they fill up quickly but you will quickly find another one to eat in.
MoreGreat for kids to swim in the Ocean, and the food places had very moderate prices
MoreThe food and drinks are very good and you can enjoy the beach that is just like a pool, the hammocks, great experience
MoreThe water its not bluesh as you see at the pic but its okayI wish was not too many vendors and venders I lost my count on how many times I have to said no to every 2 minutes someones stop to offer something
MoreGreat food and lots of fun with the FAM
The people are so friendly and love the water so clean
This is the best beach in bahía de banderas for families, especially if you have kids, the waves are pretty calm, water is clear and you see the bottom of the ocean....
MoreWe go every year for 3 months and stay in the Alamar condos. Happy family oriented busy beach.
MoreThank you for reading the Honest Reviews4u! This beach is very nice and water is very clear and clean. The waves are very kid friendly with beach front restaurants. I highly recommend this place!
MoreNo need to bring lunch for the kids if you are able to spend a few pesos, drinks and food are very good, beautiful water and authentic Mexican feel. Loved it.
MoreThis is a family place 200%If you have kids, this beach turn it perfect....you can be few meters from the ocean watching them. And food...o my God...fish on the stick and grilled. To die for it
MoreOne the most beautiful beaches I have visited!!!! The water is so warm and there are restaurants that you can dine at!!! Definitely a must see!!!
MoreSuper crowded. Place where locals and national tourist hang out... take cash to buy all the goodies lots of food and obviously venders.... I prefer places with less humans lol
MoreRelatively calm waters. Was hoping to snorkel but there werent many fish to see where we were. More garbage on beach than I would like to see. Visted on a Saturday. We arrived early and it was very busy by the time we left. Lots of food offerings. Walked to Marina to get taxi ride back.
Morethe ocean is full of rocks and the place is dirty
Soft sand, good and cheap food, really good place to swim cause the waves are really low, clean part of the ocean, really low presence of boats, accessible by car or bus
MoreLove this beach its great for familys that dont want to go to beaches that have strong waves this one is for you it is a really nice beach and really calm
MoreThis beach offers several seaside restaurants. Competition keeps all the food on par and the prices reasonable. Pick the less crowded one. The beach is very rocky at certain areas so bring some swiming footwear to enjoy those certain spots. The water is clear. Nice beach to eat seaside and enjoy so good seafood.
MoreBeautiful small beach with lots of sea shells to collect and places to snorkel. A little too crowded and saw trash herr and there.
MorePerfect for children. Very expensive palapas. The good thing they have is that you can bring your own food. You just pay them a fee.
MoreGood calm waters to wade in. We were really fortunate that the cab driver recommended this beach especially having young children with us.
MoreNice outdoor covered seafood restaurants. Nice calm beach not too deep great for kids. 5 of us ate a small "mariscada" family plate plus drinks for 1500 mexican pesos. Down side is you get a lot of people coming up to you to sell you stuff. Otherwise OK.
MorePlaya la Manzanilla its worder full great place to swing with the little kids but as well for the adults, you can get the umbrella, table and chairs for free if you drink and eat from the restaurant otherwise you had to pay 150 pesos about 9 USD for the whole day, you can bring you own food, drinks, umbrella, chairs you name, to have a day full of fun. Theres a 30 pesos charge for the parking from 8am to 7pm about 2.50 USD, you can get snacks, boat tour and banana ride also , I buy the food from the restaurant and a bucket of local beers for a total of 500 pesos about 30 dollars, the pescado zarandeado its a grill corvina with Mexican rice, salad, tortillas, lots of limes this its food enough for 4 peoples the bucket of beer came with 5 bottles of you choice of beer, we get a massage before we going to swing for 250 pesos for 2 about 15 USD. This a place that you had to visit if you visiting Puerto Vallarta
MoreCalm water nice place to Get in the ocean bit crowded
i love this little beach tucked into a corner of banderas bay. it is very safe for you to take your children, as there are no waves and it is not very deep out to about 50 meters. the swim are is roped off so no need to worry about boats. lots of low cost restaurants are in the area, often overflowing with mexican families, especially on Sundays.if you found this review helpful please click the thumbs up button below. enjoy your time in nayarit.
MoreCool little beach to relax and eat.
Friendly people, great food and drinks on the beach with activities available. Great for families of all origin.
MoreGreat beach for family! Waves are small and sand is very fine.
Great for small family entertainment, not crowded, great to relax to let the kids play on the beach or water, not deep water. Small restaurants with modest pricing and children menus as well.
MoreYou can eat at a local restaurant by the beach and have seating the whole day with no extra charge. They allow you to bring in food, so packing a cooler or grabbing snacks at the mini mart is acceptable.A great time to try the local seafood and enjoy the water.Bathrooms and showers are usually available for a small charge.
MoreBeautifull place. But it gets to full to fast. So make sure you get there early
A ton of restaurants right on the beach with lots of seafood and being consumed.Sundays have a big family crowd and it is fun to be around the energy. The beach is safe for swimming and there are boat rides and tubing easily accessible.
MoreWe journeyed down to La Manzanilla because we heard it was fabulous. Not so much. It IS very quiet and the water is beautiful in this bay. If you are looking for quiet and a LONG stretch of beach this is perfect. The people of La Manzanilla are wonderful! So friendly and accommodating, classic Mexico if you ask me. Not very many beach vendors. The other wonderful thing about this water is that you can walk out past the wake and just stand with the water at your waist level or arms. Every day there were groups of people just standing out in the water just enjoying the warm water and the sun.The sunsets are fabulous as well. Lots of Canadians like this area and live full time here. Small town very quiet. Maybe check out Melaque around the point, whole different vibe there if you are looking for something more upbeat:)
