Great beach nice blue whater very clean

Fantastic beach! Only locals come here, almost no tourists. You can find there small restaurants, and little shops with fried fish and plantains, beers for 1$. The beach is very relaxing, clean and safe (there are many policemen). Nice swimming. Parking 4$ for the whole day. The beach closes after 5 pm.

we went last Saturday, is very nice beach, but really noisy and they charge you for using the bathroom 0.50 cents, is ok, but went you enter is dirty and without toilet paper... a mess!. on weekdays it must be a paradise

Like all near city Panamanian beaches, full of trash and nobody picks a can.

I love this beach. In the summertime early mornings are the best time to visit...its quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is pretty good. You can take your own chairs and mat or rent a cabana

Worth it! Proper infrastructure with restaurants, shacks, umbrellas, etc. Prices are a bit salty ($4 for parking, $10 for a small hut, etc.The beach was clean, although people were littering here and there. Very busy on weekends.

We got lucky, we got there late and no one was collecting parking fees. We didnt see the trash on the beach that is in the reviews. We enjoyed the beach for a short while, ate dinner, and continued our drive.

Quite pricey and a lot of big groups with loud music

A gorgeous beach with friendly local people on it on the weekends and good and cheap simple food. The problem is that the beach is strewn with styrofoam cups, beer cans, etc. As the sun climbs in the sky, so does the garbage on the beach. Also, there are some open sewers flowing into the waters of the beach. What a terrible way to treat paradise.

If people respected more the rest... It is a nice beach for everyone but people typically leave their garbage on the beach (cans, bottles, etc.and loud music as well. Food is readily available at reasonable prices. Only bathroom is at the restaurant. $4 fee charged to cars is excessive considering you dont even have access to lockers or change rooms. Other than that we have never had any unpleasant situation. Good to combine with a visit to Portobelo.

Water was not very clear and beach dirty and not well kept ... Not worth the trip

Nice view , the water was warm and welcoming , there was not too much area to dock your towel . There were wooden canopies but no one insight to get the mattress from until we were leaving.

Its closer than Isla Grande, and the beach is pretty good, if you can ignore the piles of trash that seem to be part of the ebb and flow of the tides...the food is great!Watch your bags like an eagle, there are naughty guys prowling around waiting for an oppotunity..up at the main street theres a bar and a tienda and it also seems to be infested with surly seedy types.otherwise, its a pretty nice beach if you dont want to go all the way to Isla Grande.
