Playa Cayacoa - Public Beach - Beach in Santa Barbara de Samana, Dominican Republic
Pina Colada...coconut water and fried fish with tostones. Need I say more???
Amei a praia. Tranquila, limpa...
Beautiful place! For more pictures@Spanishvibez on Instagram
Not the best beach in the world by any means, litter in the water, makes you extremely sad to think people are so ignorant. Distressing to the wildlife and to nature. Beach is very small and chairs are very close together, so close you can read your neighbors book. your feet are about 20 feet from the shore, and youre able to walk from one end of the beach to the other in about 32 seconds-- seriously. The other small beach, on the other side of the resort, is not sandy, its grassy, it also has huge, leafy trees hanging into the water, providing plenty of great shade to relax under in the hot afternoon sun.
Very nice and beautiful location, great staff, amazing entertainment
I love it
Awesome beach, great water and places to chill
Super
Beautiful,. magic... Amazing.place
The most beautiful place on Earth? Arguably, and more. There is much local knowledge and talent in this town. If I were able, Id return today. Let our Home lands stay in the hands of the People of the Dominican Republic.
This is a great beach to visit if you are new to the DR because it is very public there are many people to help. I didnt stay at the resort so I could use their amenities but there is a local beach restaurant where you can rent chairs for the day and have lunch which is delicious and get drinks he was very friendly. My Spanish is bad and he has a gentle way of making people comfortable. Beaches though are plentiful please dont visit just one.
Espectacular lugar.
Very clean, very safe. Some excellent local artisans. And easily accessible.
Free, clean but if youre not in the hotel you cant use the sunbeds, or buy drinks/food from the hotel bar. Just be prepared
Its okay. Not the best beach I have been to in dominican republic. It is warm though...so thats good....
Not very much of this beach is public and the part that is had small rocks and dirt, not sand. Not my favorite beach on the island at all, but Eric couldnt find another public beach within walking distance from town.
It is cleanIts open till 7pm
Love it
Nice place.
Very nice location, a void vendors at far end of beach. Check out the long bridges during the day
Great place to relax.
Very beautiful
The beach is nice, but the walk on the high bridge, to the small island is unforgettable.do it
Beautiful, scenic resort. Great food and hospitality.
Nice but it has private chailongs. You have to be registered in the hotel to use them
Had an amazing time in Samaná, very friendly people and easy to have fun practically everywhere. Great whether and very easy going population. Definitely recommend a stop here on your travels not only in the Dominican Republic but also In the Caribbean. Totally worth it.
Nice beach, generally not super crowded. The water is pretty clear but sand is brown, so it doesnt look as fantastic as some other beaches in the area but its worth spending an afternoon. Most of the beach is private to the Cayocia but you can bring your towel and lay down without any problem. They also rent chairs for 2.50$ if you want one.
Spectacular view of Samana Bay & Ocean. Perfect beach, theres a neat shop underneath the bridge they offer tours over to (CAYO LEVANTADOits a small island with a resort on it. I recommend you take it.
Great bridge to walk with nice little islands, beautiful view to the beach. 😍
I like walking through this beach area in the summer. Its pretty, airy, and breezy. Its a perfect spot gem beach. Just relax.****
Beautiful beach !!!!
I really loved the hotel, but I was disappointed about the fact that it was not Caribbean sea. It was not what I was expecting, but it was my fault on not asking and making sure beforehand. The beach was a bit rocky, but still very pretty, and the water was clean, but then again it was the private beach to the Cayacoa HotelI dont think I would go back here because the beach is to small, and it is not that "Caribbean look" to the sea
