Great for families with kids. Clean sand, a lot of good chiringuitos, the only downside is that you can smell weed everywhere:)

La playa está bien, sin más. La típica playa con arena fina tipo costa daurada, y el color del agua depende el día está más o menos clara.Esta equipada con duchas y se puede aparcar fácil si no estamos en temporada alta. En los meses de julio-agosto bastante más concurrido y suele estar muy lleno.Se puede ir con la familia tranquilamente proque el agua no cubre demasiado.

Great beach, not full or hustlers trying to sell beer and mojitos like in the main area of Barcelona. Still able to hire an umbrella for the day if you want. Other wise it’s full of local family’s just relaxing and enjoying the water, which is clean unlike Barcelona.

Awesome beach, not the crazy tourist vide that you get in barceloneta, I’ve been there till 4am drinking and hanging out, no cops bother you and its peaceful.

Platja de Gavà is located between the Llobregat delta and the village of Castelldefels. As there is no public transport and few houses in the area, this beach is very quiet. If you like long walks along the seafront, you couldnt do better: the beach is long, you can walk to Castelldefels, and going the other way, you will reach the Llobregat delta. On top of all this, the shore is flat, the sand is fine and a strip of dunes separates this beautiful place from the rest of the world.

Only a 20min train ride out of Barcelona and totally worth it just to get to a cute little beach, a lot less crowded than Barceloneta. Less windy than Casteldefels. And for me personally it was great swimming around not worried about sharks or strong currents 😂

It would be unfair to review this area as it is October and raining. The beach is wide and sandy with limited access via the campsite or private communities and a couple of roads

Gorgeous beach lined with just enough eateries. Much more tranquil than beaches smack bang in the centre of Barcelona. Take the bus to get to Gava from bus stops nr Universitat.

Lots of noise from planes on their take-off from the airport and lots of garbage in the sea and around. The waves there are good fun though.
