Love this place. Wine, bric-a-brac shopping/eating all in one.Great atmosphere

We booked 4days in advance for a group of about 15 bikers.Ons arival at 10h45 we started to order our Food.After almost 45 min the Manager came and apologise for a confution in the kitchen that our food will take longer case they had to change the chef.After about in total of an hour and a half our food arrived,eggs looked messy and it was cold aswell as the bacon.toast was cold with such a small block of butter it coverd only the one slice..Some of us come from Bredaadorp, Rivwrdale, Witsand and we were really disapointed in all of this.The poor waitrice apologiesed soo much that i even started feeling bad.We got iceream as a consolation for the poor food at the end.Hope it will only get beter by a good repremand to the guilty parties PLEASE??

What a lovely pit stop. Friendly help, fantastic home made gifts and relaxing environment, to stretch ones legs. I will definitely visit them again.

They have a wide variety of wines from the wine farms in the are. We enjoy a delicious lunch under the trees.

Wine selection is great and well priced. Restaurant has a limited overpriced menu and service not great. Waiting staff looking at each other in hopes that customers will serve themselves.......

A lovely moment spent there. We enjoyed their breakfast, enjoyed the animals. If you are an animal lover: Fanie the pig, chickens and cats. They have so many options to select from in the shop. It is gifts, wines, goodies for the home. Definitely a must go and experience.

Visit there a week or two ago. Beautiful place and very friendly staff. Very nice collection of wines for sale. The art work is also amazing.

Stunning spot to stop for a coffee or get some wine or gifts. The staff are super knowledgeable about their products and the gin tasting was incredible.

I always enjoy stopping by at Platform 62 in Ashton. Meals are not only reasonably priced but wholesome and tasty. There are interesting things to purchase as well. Wine tasting and purchasing, deli type items, and so on. A big play area for children is always welcome on the long road.

Best place to buy every type of wine in the western cape ! And have breakfast or lunch ! Friendly staff

My wife, son and I had a very pleasant experience here about 2 weeks and 2 days ago. The staff were indeed helpful and friendly! The wine tasting experience was second to none!! Ive bought 2 cases and 16 bottles of mixed wines, grape juice, brandy and muscadel. Still enjoying it pretty much. Thank You! I was a very commendable experience. * * * * * * * 7 STARS

Wonderful support of the local wine farmers and wine estates, big or small. Lovely kids play area with some farm animals. Also purchase of home decor items and processed hides.A small restaurant with deli items for sale.

Great gift ideas. Some of the artwork is fantastic. Take your time browsing in that section. Selection of home crafts and gorgeous succulents. Huge selection of wines, ports and gins from that region. Well worth a visit. We stop here each time we pass this way.

Always a good visit ... great wine selection ... interesting art and good food. A walk around the old stram engine is always a treat. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

Loved the whole setup and different tastings like wine , gin , brandy , whiskeys and even liqueurs. Friendly and helpful staff . Intresting local products you can buy .

All aspects above expectation. Art work very good. Wine section worth camping in for a week!! Pricing very competitive. All round a good venue at which to browse and shop.

Do stop at Platform 62 for a lovely wine tasting and something to eat. They have a wide selection of wines to choose from. There is also other drinks such as Whiskey, Rum, Brandy, gin etc. as well as an Arts & Crafts section and Farm Stall. A 1 stop shop if you cannot get to majority of the winerys/distilleries in the area.

Did not do tasting ...Lovely to walk through organised and attractively set out shelves with wine from the area ..... a really good shopping experience, friendly and helpful members of staff..... gladly recommend ...

A very popular padstal on the main road through Robertson. Ample parking. Items are a bit pricey in my opinion. Does have a very large selection of homemade produce. Very popular stop for regulars and tourists. Worth a visit. Does not offer stidown dining unfortunately.

What a special place! Great wine selection from the area, and even got to do a spontaneous wine tasting. Our little one loved the chickens and pig, and could play to his hearts content.

You can get all the wines of the area at cellar prices. They also have a good food selection. And the most generous portion of wine tasting in the area. Speak to Sia for all your wine purchases. He provides informative and friendly service.

Lovely products and tastings but to big to have a nice atmosphere

This used to be the old Coop. Revamped into a spacious wine and gift shop. Real bargains to be found here. Good place to have a coffee and something to eat.

Friendly service, lots of gifts, nice to haves and a wide variety of wines...

Tourist attraction with nursery, arts and crafts, wines, jams, nuts, dried fruits and a restaurant. Neat clean and good service. Kid friendly with seesaw and slide. Cute chickens roaming. Would recommend the rum bubblegum milkshake, pricy but delicious. Area currently has road construction, but we could easily enter and exit parking with a car.

Most of the wine farms in the Robertson Valley are closed on a Sunday but Platform 62 on the main road in Ashton and open until 5pm offers a wide variety of wines and brandies from the valley.Siya, the wine boutique manager, is really helpful and knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a little wine tasting to help us decide.You cant miss it with the huge steam locomotive standing in the carpark!

It was a lovely experience and my little son had a fun time with the toy bikes and standing on the old steam train that was directly outside. The restaurant is also very nice and well priced. Lots of alcoholic drinks to choose from for purchase as well.

A good place for a traveller to stop and have a meal. They also have a large selection of wines from various wineries in the region. There is also a section with collectables on sale. Great place to bring kids, large playground. Then there is Fanie - go check him out when you stop here!

What a gem. Desperate for a coffee travelling from Hermanus to Montagu. Wonderful food and courtyard in the back of the centre beautiful. The wine choices were overwhelming. Fantastic prices as I am used to British prices.

Such an awesome place, staff are friendly, lots of wine, jams and spreads to taste, you can feed the bunnies and chickens, theres a restaurant and you can take your dog with if you want :which is awesome.

The food was wonderful and the waitresses were very friendly. Its definitely a nice place to take the kids. Plus you can feed the chickens walking around.

Definitely a stop worth doing while youre traveling through Ashton. They offer a wide selection of wines, liqueurs, olives, home made sauces and preserves as well as good food from the restaurant. The wines are often at better-than-cellar prices as we toured around all the wine farms and found the prices on some wines cheaper than that of the cellars themselves.
