Great lay out. Lights at night as well. The park is kind of dark, but the skate lights arent bad.

I just wish park goers would pick up their trash. Sad.

Theres so many lines you can choose from... concrete wave both ways. Smooth really fun to skate! Its a lot of fun practicing here! And the bowl is easy to ride also with a lot of variety to switch up tricks!

Overall is a good park. They just remodel the playground.

One of the best parks in Bakersfield. Great pavement and flow. The bowl is great for beginners and everyone else. The locals are super friendly, I come to this park everytime I visit. The parking lot can be a little rough, its not in the best area so just keep your eyes out. Regardless, its my favorite park in town and I love it

I only went there because I feel my other half missing.... he used to hang out there but not anymore since he now gets to watch over me....

Don’t bring your kids here to play. Kids playground is filled with high schoolers smoking pot. They don’t even let the kids play because they’re actually on the play set smoking. 🤦‍♀️

I use to love this park when I was a teenager.. Sadly it is not the safe fun place I use to know. I def would not recommend this park..

This park is small but really dope. Its got a neat street portion but the transition section is my favorite. If you like bowl skating, come to this park. The bowl here has a 3 foot section that transitions into a 5ish foot section and its so fun.

Felt safe till the back of the park is a broken fence with tents inhabited by homeless people. Kids sometimes have to ollie over bums in the skate park but thats only when the park rangers havent escorted off the premises

Love the water spray area, definitely come here if you want kids to cool off and have fun at the same time.

I was there but only got a look i didnt walk all the way through but as far as I saw it looked like it would be nice to practice biking, skating, scooting, etc...But it also looks pretty good compared to what I have seen.

I would not take my kids there a lot of rift raft people coming in and out park and homeless sleeping on grass. Keep an eye on your kids dont let them out of your site.

Playset, water works, skate park, baseball & basketball court, BBQ pits and restrooms everything you need at a park.

This skate park is awesome. Love to run our rcs before the skaters get there.

Its not that I loved this park. I have no feelings about it one way or another. I just had a marvelous time catching up with an old friend over a pizza while sitting in this park. However, if you enjoy watching adolescents and young dudes ride scooters and skateboards, this is the spot. Not really my jam these days but I wouldve dug it 30 years ago without a doubt. It did spark interesting banter about whether people who ride Razor Scooters could be considered cool. Do the handlebars negate the cool factor? But, oh no, does that make me uncool*?! I mean I ride transportation with two wheels with handlebars and thought it kinda made me a little awesome 😕 Oh no! My poor ego began to quiver, "oh no maybe Im not cool at all", until I remembered that I wont fall down if I run into a pebble... Lol.*Full disclosure: Im not very cool.

Love this during the Sumner. Visited here and got wet with our grandson during a hot summer day! Memories made for a hot summer day!😊

Love the on site manager shes always very patient with all the tenants. I have never had any problems or issues with repairs or Maintenance repair . The few times in a called in to have something of concern looked at or repaired they have always come the same day or the following day and have always fixed it on the 1st visit. Very well maintained and managed property. I would highly recommend to family and friends. And the rental property prices are very reasonable with other properties in the area

My son and nephew enjoy skateboarding at the designated skate area. My little niece enjoy the areas she can get busy in her roller skates. She also enjoy the play area for swinging and climbing. Would give five stars if there wasnt so much weed smoking.

Great for teens and older children. THE ONLY PARK IN BAKO THAT HAS A SKATE PARK!!!! even has a 1/4 pipe, bowl, and plenty of things to grind your boards on. Younger children and babies not the best place to go. The neighborhood is good. Not a lot of fights, but they do occur occasionally. Needs to be cleaned up, maybe a clean up the parks day for Bako is needed?

There are two gymborees and its a skate park too. Pretty cool and not over crowded.

Fun small skate and full time water park

Worst place & park Ive ever seen. Trash & degree were everywhere and homeless slept under a tree. Just loud & dirty in appearance. Unsafe feel. Nahhh Ill pass...

The water park should be opened longer 6:00 pm is not in enough time when parents get out a little late and want to bring their kids to get wet ... They should leave it open until 7 or 8 ..

Its a pretty decent place to hang out but the streets arent properly lit and the facilities were less than desirable

Fun skate park, nice play sets and plenty of room. Only bad thing is its a hangout spot for drug & alcohol users.

I love this little skate park. Its always cleaned up early in the morning by the city workers. Bathroom available too.

I like how throughout the year i can come morning or afternoon to play with my kids and Ill see a clean park every time. The crime use to bad over there but it has calmed down.

Were almost here everyday because my son and daughter love the skate park but the only problem is all the teenagers and adults like hogging the ramps and ive even had a few of the skaters telling my kids to move or to get off the ramps... But there also have been this group of kids who have been drinking and skating there and breaking there glass beer bottles around the skating area.... Other then that i guess the park itself is ok

I grew up in this park, I have memories from when I was just a toddler. On top of that, our family reunion was held at this park every year, yeah I have seen it go through a lot of changes and yes I remember the robot... good times, and the merry go round. Now its the skate park and the spray park ( water park ).

It was nice. I was out riding my bike and wanted to stop to get a drink of water and take a break. There were some skate boarders there in the park and I sat and watched how far those boys, and girl have come riding now. I had to sweep the sidewalk before we rode with those big clay wheels. Pretty much like the Flintstones konda wheels. Lol

Alot of homeless hangout here hangout at this park but I do go on rare occasion to take my kids to the spray park which they love.we dont stay too long but just be aware of ur surroundings

Drug addicts and thieves are a staple at this park. This is a shame because the park has great amenities like baseball diamonds, a cool skatepark, and lots of space.

Such a fun skatepark. A waterpad to cool off. BBQs. Basketball court and a baseball field. Plenty of room to run and play for the kids. Its a fun park to enjoy the sun!

The kids liked the water part alot better than the playground area. The teens out drinking at the skate park part was a real worry for me and the kids I had out there

Looks and feels very unsafe. Kids drinking and bringing their pitbulls and people were just pulling up and leaving. Yelling and cussing...just very chaotic. Didnt feel comfortable there at all.

Was pretty good part has a half court of basketball, couple places to BBQ a great playground for kids 12 and under. But it has no restroom hows the water fountain and a nice shade with tables on it for a big gathering Next to the play ground.

Really fun skate park in Bakersfield. A little small but has great flow and really fun features. The locals rip here so watch out!!

I love this place because it is one of the only 2 skateparks we have in Bakersfield. Usually nothing too crazy going on here, and not too crowded until evening time for the most part.

It was a nice little park had a baby shower for my granddaughter her has a small skate park thing has a playground. Also has a baseball diamond with bleachers its a cute family park

great skatepark, chill skate community. Prepare to be snaked, parks a bit small, so snaking sometimes happens when its crowded. Everything to skate therr is perfect!
