Amazingly delicious wood fire pizza, we got the Boscaiola, very fast and super friendly service, definitely will be back for more!

Went looking for an alternative to the big chain pizza places and stumbled across PRP on Uber Eats. For an order of $42, I was pretty disappointed to be honest. The toppings were extremely scarce and the pizzas were just flavourless. Not something I would go for again unfortunately.

Best of the best pizza place in Auckland city, pizzamaker mr. Ankur is very experienced and with cheerful staff.

Myself and a friend Mel have had many pizzas over the years from this venue, I have loved every one them. The freshness and consistency has been A grade. We’ve just had a pizza tonight and are so satisfied we felt compelled to write a review. Highly recommend.

Visiting Auckland with my girlfriend for the weekend and wanted Uber eats. Found this place and thought it looked great and has good reviews. First of all (not the restaurants faultthe Uber eats driver got lost and dropped it at the wrong place so it wasn’t as hot as it could be. Secondly, you know that it’s bad when the chips (which taste like dominoes chipsare significantly better than the pizza. It was stodgy and flavourless and they forgot to cut it. Should have just gotten chain store pizza instead. Worst I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten frozen McCain’s before.

Finally found genuine italian pizza in Auckland! Crispy and thin base, woodfired & of course made to order! It tastes like the ones on my sicilian holiday. Highly recommend the vegetarian and vegan options! Thanks chef for the great food and good vibes :)

Great traditional italian pizza. The vegetarian options are so tasteful. Great service and awesome prices specially on Tuesday and Wednesday. The pizza chef has made calzone napoletano in special ocations(not in the menu), it is just as the traditional one!

Incredible customer service!!! My pizza was wrong and they delivered a new one themselves! By far the best pizza I’ve had in Auckland so far! Couldn’t recommend more highly!

First time try with this restaurant. Burnt offerings. Burnt food is cancer causing. The one star is for the pizza base which was good albeit burnt. I had a Delizio pizza and it was tasteless apart from burn, lacking in enough seasoned sauce. My husband is a trained pizza chef and I know my pizzas. Seriously lacking. I was so hungry, I ate 2 slices and the rest went in the bin. Never again.

Look guys.Hurts me to write this review. Ive been loyal to Rosso for a very long time. But over the course of the last 6 months the ball has just been dropped. Saying 15 or 20 mins and taking 40, creeping on my girlfriend while she is inside waiting for the pizza and I am in the car, and now, just poor pizzas. Really poor pizzas. I love this place but I am taking a 6 month stand down. Upon my return I hope to see my pizza spot back to its former glory, and to edit this review.

One of the best Italian pizza places in Auckland! Go there Tuesday and Wednesday as they great pizza deals during these days.

Really impressed. Good food. Pizza was great. Fries were fantastic.... Arancini balls were really good as well. 👍 Genuinely couldnt fault the order!

Need to update this previously 5 star review.Weve been twice recently, and both times weve had sloppy pizza.If youve changed staff or something in your processes, change it back. Youre now solidly in the average pizza category.Well wait a few weeks before our next visit. Hopefully it isnt our last.

This place is fantastic. Its hidden amongst car repair places but well worth finding. Ive been twice and had the same pizza both times because it was so delicious. Highly recommend the one with prosciutto, rocket, parmesan and truffle oil. The deep fried cheese is delicious but feels a bit pricey for what you get. Still recommend trying it though!Its byo $5 corkage and they do cheaper pizzas on Tuesdays and wednesdays.

Dunno if theyve changed ownership or what. But their pizzas are now severely under seasoned and my Italiana pizza was soggy underneath for some reason when it was just an olive oil base, couldnt taste any garlic either... Pitiful amount of mozerellaand the few basil leaves were as small as small could be..?? Basically just bread and low quality cheese with a sprinkle of mozerella and no salt or pepper...

Best NZ crust without a doubt and the baking technique is superlative. Its a pitty that my pizza had not salsa at all and I had a hard time looking for the mozzarella and the pieces of bacon and sausages. Im sure this is a 5 star pizzeria but... I will give it a second chance and would I love to change my rating :-)

1 year since my original review and pleased to say its still as good as ever. And I have been going regularly throughout the year.Love the pizzas. Simple but delicious toppings and the perfect base.

Best quality/price Pizza in town!!! The flour they use come from Italy and the dough is proper italian. I love wood fired pizza. I would say only few pizzeria in town can beat Rosso Pomodoro and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they do 15$ pizzas. What a deal!!!

I agree with Massimo, we ordered two pizza tonight and were really disappointed. My Crudaiola pizza didn’t had any basil on it witch was a first disappointment and on both pizzas the cheese wasn’t melted. The formagi pizza only had a few pieces on it. We don’t know what happened tonight in the restaurant but It wasn’t what we expected.

Great great pizza. Casual place to eat in with byo, and beets available. Good for Vegan pizzas. Delivery available and make your own. Good service and connect 4 games to play in the resteraunt.

I been there frequently, but after today 11/05 that I invited some friends over, I was ashamed.Pizza was dry, mozzarella cheese it was raw, pizza base tested was with a poor and cheap flour.It changed. Didn’t like and I regret to had brought special friends.

So friendly and the pizzas are bomb. They recommended a spicy one for us (can’t remember the nameit was the best I’ve tasted in awhile. Highly recommend. We always do takeaway but they have a few seats inside too.

Best pizza in Auckland. Its the closest to authentic Italian pizza Ive tHad in New Zealand. They use good integredients. I love the one with Parma ham and the one with zucchini and obergine. They often put their offer for 2 or 3 pizzas to Grab One or Groupon. Just make sure you get there in time as they stop accepting new customers almost an hour before closing time to make sure they close on time.

Great Neapolitan pizza at a reasonable price. If you spend over $40 they will deliver locally. You can order online or by phone. They also have a small casual restaurant where you can sit in and eat.

Delicious handmade pizza, even the crust is throughly enjoyable. One "vegan" marked pizza on the menu but you can take the cheese off the other veg pizzas and make it vegan. Id die and go to heaven if they were to offer vegan cheese for their pizzas, Id eat there three times a week!

Classic Italian pizza with beautiful crispy crusts. Would definitely go out of my way to get these pizzas to takeaway again. You can also sit in the pizzeria to eat in however its a bit small and not set up restaurant style, more as a quick stop.

Not sure about pizza but, im sorry to say it those guy are not competent, i wanted to give a pizza as a gift for a friend that fixed my scooter for a cheap price, so when i tell the situation, 2 guys at the cash desk dont know what to do, they look at themselves and they come up with a solution: min expense 50 dollars for a voucher,I told them what to do, i pay the pizza i want, i would have given the ticket to my friend and he would have come to pick up the pizza, easy no?They on the other hand told me that, that ticket cold be used multiple times.. Omfgsorry guys i wanted a frikkin pizza take away.adios

This place is fantastic. Dont listen to the negative comments about toppings etc - those people have never had a true Italian pizza. Authentic wood fired bases with amazing flavour. Definitely try the mushroom arancini as well. Service is very friendly and in the proper Italian style. BYOD there last night with 8 people. Incredibly reasonable prices and excellent ambience!

I laugh at the millennials complaining about lack of toppings on the pizzas - they prefer Dominos and their American hybrid style of fitting as much as possible on to one slice. This is the best, closest thing to a REAL pizza Napoletana.

These pizzas are over priced unimaginative and undercooked. Will never come back...there is no effort put into making these sorry excuses for pizzas. Id rather go to dominos 👎

Delicious pizza cooked the authentic way! Ive been all around Italy and Europe and have sampled some pretty amazing pizzas. These are easily the tastiest pizzas Ive had in Auckland. Ive tried em all and no longer need to keep looking.

I bought a grab one voucher and was excited to try a new local restaurant. I was told food would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived the food wasnt ready so I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes. And when I got home and opened my pizzas there was next to no toppings. I would never go back !
