Pizzeria Primavera - Italian restaurant in Da Lat, Vietnam
Got a salad and a pizza (carbonara)Salad was delicious and bigAsked for the pizza to be half ham because my friend don’t eat meat and we wanted to share, unfortunately more than half of the pizza was with meat. Mushrooms looked from can.We asked for Parmesan, we needed to ask again and the dish was cold till we got it.Food is good but overpriced.
This is literally the best pizza i have ever had!!! Even the pizza in Naples wasnt this good. We left delat nearly 2 months ago and I cant stop thinking about that pizza.
Excellent ingredients in pizza but i think it was undercooked
Best meal we ever had in Vietnam so far, best pizza in Vietnam for SURE!Everything just make you feel in Italy once again.Highly recommended!!!
I came here with lot of excitement. Got really best review from my friends.Well, my experience wasn’t great at this place and I won’t come here again. The reasons are :-Staff were less attentive. Inspite of calling them thrice, they did not even bother to take my order. When I ordered Margarita pizza, it took 30 minutes for the preparation. Even the pizza base wasn’t baked properly.I didn’t order pasta and spaghetti later after seeing their quality of pizza…May be I am one of the unluckiest customer while all the other feedbacks are 5 star rated. But hey, this is my experience…I don’t expect the owner to give me his apology!Cheers!!
The spaghetti & pizza are really tasty, really enjoy the food here!
The food is good, staff are very nice and friendly. However for the price we paid and also extra 5% service charges (which is ridiculouswe would expect to get better service. No napkins provides until we asked or go get it by ourselves. Bottle of oil, salt and pepper on the table are not clean at all (dust, hair and previous user’s fingerprint on it). They don’t clear the table after we finish the food. Not sure they are too busy or they don’t really care.
Awesome food ... Highly recommend this resto... Must try Spaltzer if i remember it correctly but all of the food we ordered are great. Owner is magnifico as well.
IT IS PERFECT. If the average place is 5 stars, this is 7.I can add 100 words of poetry about great little organic wine from NeroD’Avola, fresh Caesar salad, the best tagliatelle i have had, including in Tuscany, or a totally balanced pizza sauce. Skip all the other “Pizza Places”, go to Primavera.Good luck Fabio, see you next time.
The pizza was good, the bruschetta was also good, but nothing special. We sat in a small room upstairs and i had the feeling, that we were left behind there... It took too long from the order until the food got served. But the biggest disappointment was the price... The dishes it selves are expensive enough and then when we paid, a 5% service fee was added...
Food was okay. Not the best italian food weve had in Vietnam but also not bad.I gave 3 stars because1. The price is really high. Quality is good but not good enough for the price. This is the most expensive weve eaten in Vietnam2. We sat at a little back room on the 2nd floor and there was this really annoying bell ringing the entire time. Also the staff had to get their new plates from a cabinet directly behind us which was really distractingAll in all this is not a bad place but you could probably find better places to eat in Dalat if you dont want to spend to much money
Seems too bland, for Italian food. Herbs would improve taste. Vietnamese food seems generally bland if not for the chilli they add, but not everyone eats chilli.
Nice Italian restaurant, pizzas are baked in a wood fire oven, it’s a big +.Some of the dishes are a little bit pricey but overall it’s a good spot to eat Italian dishes.
We love this restaurant. Definitely, we have dined in 3 times in 3 days. The restaurant has a flair of Mediterranean vibe, so cozy and homey we loved sitting outside at the balcony. At the entrance at the ground floor is a small shop selling besides other ingredients fresh home made tagliatelle. The pizza dough was fluffy and crispy at outside. We love the lasagne, meaty-rich- cheesy-gravy and so well balance. Carpaccio fresh and tasty. Tiramisu lovely, gnocchi so satisfying. Can’t tell how happy we were at the restaurant. And the 1m long pizza so incredible impressively. The portion are big and the price reasonable. And patience has been applied in this restaurant when it came to rush hour time. But if your were prepared, enjoy the atmosphere, get ready for good food.
OmF*@#*&G, can someone please try the pasta and lasanga. That was my favourite lasanga ever, was not expecting that👀👀🙏🏼❤️🔥
Nice little restaurant with a nice balcony where you can dine. The pizzas are big and well made. The lasagna is a must try, careful the hot pan tho..Prices are reasonable and the food is fresh, staff is friendly.
This restaurant look very italian small shop. The location is a bit hard to find, hidden in a small valley. We had wine, antipasto, kale salad and pizza. Wine and antipasto were amazing. I was enjoying the food for a while until I saw cockroaches everywhere. Cockroaches were giants! I couldn’t sit anymore. I have to request to sit where I feel clean the most. Kale salad is a bit dry dressing and pizza are alright.
One of the best pizza you can find in dalat if you want a pizza. The wine it’s great but the pasta it’s okay. Maybe put more pasta on the plate. It’s also romantic and great for a date
Nice place, cozy and nice food. will come back.
Rude owner and inattentive staff. Dirty tablecloths, plates and utensils. Dishes were missing ingredients and included random extra ones not listed on the menu. Overpriced. Dont believe the hype.
• 4 cheese thin based pizza was delicious• The mushroom and cheese risotto was overcooked• The lasagne was ok• The pumpkin soup seemed like a thickener was added to it and tasted more of potatoes than pumpkinIf you do go here, I’d highly recommend the 4 cheese pizza from this place. Everything else we tried was just ok.
The food is awesome. We ordered capricciosa pizza and lasagna, and both were fantastic. Do ask for some honey to eat with pizza dough, the taste was unique. It was quite disappointing that we waited for quite long to get just the menu. We sat for like 10mins (after raising hand for attention for a few times), then I had to approach her to get the menu.I would also suggest that the owner asks their staff to confirm on the orders, in my case they missed my lasagna Because they didnt hear. After waiting for 30mins (we had the pizza already), I asked the staff and she said she didnt hear me order lasagna, but I ordered it even before the pizza. All in all, i still highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.
I like this place and would recommend it.The portions are generous and fresh.Love the gnocchi and tiramisu.Very reasonable pricing given that.Staff seemed a bit too busy however. Could benefit from one more person on the floor.Cozy spot and comfortable. Entrance to the alley is under construction by the city right now so note for your arrival.
Well decorated and nice ambiance. The pizzas we ordered were delicious. I believe I ordered the Prosiutto e Funghi.
Lasagna was the best Ive ever had. Absolutely amazing, and the clam spaghetti was great too, but if you like meat on your pizza like me you should ask for an extra portion.
One of the best pizza Ive had in 3 years in VietnamOven in brickCook with woodThe pasta of the pizza, this is literally an orgasm in my mouthEven in Saigon we couldnt find that level of authenticity and taste !complimenti mister il puzzaiolo !I will definitely recommend this place
Loved it! The menu isnt neither too big nor too limited. The cold cuts board was really generous with the meat. If the price wasnt so good, I would point out that there was a lack of soft cheese. The highlight was the gnocchi. We both loved it!
Great atmosphere, music, decoration and location. Food very delicious, lot of sea food options. Carpaccio was fresh and delicious
Outstanding gnocchi with cheese and pizza dough. The only downside is that we were so full after it that we were barely able to move :The atmosphere was spoiled a little bit by the construction nearby, but this is something outside of the owners control.Awesome place that stays cool through the years. Recommend.
The experience in this restaurant is very strange. Let me tell you why.- We come in and no one seem to care about us, even the lady at reception. When we go outside and wait, call for the service and after nearly five-seven mins there is an employee go out. There are three of us and they serve only two dishes, too clumsy. After that we go upstairs for better service because they seems not to have full attention for us.- Quality of the dish: Pizza is terribly salty, especially ham. Seem like you put full of a salt bottle into the dish so that you cannot feel anything but salt. The plus point is the dish is big.
The first time at Primavera we so happy,We booked table for 12 people for our party at 7pmThe restaurant very crowded a weekend, should have reservations before . We order a bit too much food, the food is really good, especially pizza by oven ,and special dish veal osso buco , nice and cozy restaurant ,staff are friendly. Highly recommend
AMAZING! Hands down the best meal we’ve had in Vietnam, and probably south east Asia so far. Lovely staff, perfectly sized menu with loads of options. Gluten free pasta available too. We splashed out with a sharing board, bruschetta, pastas and pizzas. Aperol spritz very lovely too, plus an amazing Italian Primitivo red wine. Authentic, cosy and reasonably priced for the quality. Would definitely visit again.
Ambience of an Italian bistro complete with wood fire oven, Italian owner preparing delicious and authentic Italian delicacies. The freshly prepared pasta and generous portions made for a delightful evening.
Amazing pizza in a tiny hem with perfect Italian atmosphere. Only letdown was they were out of limoncello!
nested in a lovely alley in Da Lat, this Italian restaurant offers the authentic flavor of my all-time-favourite gnocchi and risotto. 10/10 would come back :)
This crowded and family-run restaurant serves good Italian food. When we come at 12:30PM, their tables are full already and visitors keep coming. Their salad was good. Their steak tasted well. Recommended for Italian food lover.
Such an amazingly unexpected experience in Dalat, I ran out of idea for dinner and found this place while wandering around. BEST PIZZA EVER I must say!!!
Wood fire pizza, very tasty. Good selection of plate. Balsamic & olive oil provided at table when food ordered. Highly recommand the blue bacon gnocchi. The terrace is cute but sometime some weird smell come with the wind coming along the street.
Real Italian cuisine. Great pizza. Best of the best that I tried before. Italian cheese store in the first floor. Good service and hospitable hosts. Thanks a lot for amazing dinner!
Food was good. We ordered a lasagna and shrimp ravioli with a salad. Good portion.
Best pizza Ive had in a long time. Plus the wine was excellent. Highly recommend this gem for a change of pace food wise in Da Lat.
Amazing food. Perfectly cooked pizza and pasta. Will definitely come back again. I give 4 stars because the staff was a little bit flustered and they kept leaving before we could finish our requests. Other than that, great restaurant.
Let’s start with pros and cons and right off the bat I can tell you that the pros totally outweigh the minor cons, the food was delicious I mean brilliant, the staff was lovely, friendly and very sweet, the cons are if you’re over 6 foot tall your knees will not fit under the tables :because they have an edge so you have to sit almost away from the table, very uncomfortable and it was hot so we sat outside and it solved both issues, also we were 4 people and they served us separately with a good 15 minutes before the next person got their meal so that was a bit of a party buster, over all, we will come back here anytime, if it wasn’t for the tables and separate meals, 5 star would have been very well deserved.
Great food!We have dinner at primavera 3 times . we tried with different food here .should try hommade lasagan! Pizza 4 cheese, pasta seafood , dessert tiramisu.all great, so amazing. Real cuisine italian food like in italy . the restaurant nice ,cozy with a lovey terrace outside aswell.hightly recommend!
Their beef steak is yummy, and the owners have a good taste. If you love Italian food, this restaurant is a perfect choice in Da Lat city, Vietnam.
Cozy place and the food is quite ok. Funny thing is, this is Italian restaurant but they said they don’t have wine from Italy and Tiramisu is not available also 😂
We had a lovely last night in Dalat at Primavera! We sat on the terrace, had some good red wine and the pizza was honestly so amazing. Very friendly and welcoming staff, good music, vegetarian options and reasonable prices.(*Wish they had vegan options ;))
This is fantastic Italian in Da Lat, very good menu and tasty food. The environment is good
Delicious Italian food, great pizza, good portion size, cute border collie
This place was a great find for us! Homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and a very cozy ambiance. We ended up here more than once for dinner while we were in town and were impressed by the food quality and reasonable prices.Highly recommended!Be sure to pet the friendly dog!
