Pizzeria Duksa in Zagreb

Excellent Roman-style pizza (thin crust - usually not my thing, but its really good!), with a great choice od toppings, red od white. Nice place with a lovely terrace and great service.

the mushrooms were too thick so it was basically a soggy dough with a pool of mushroom liquid.the ham was the standard mid priced ham from any local supermarket and the taste was off.cheese was nowhere to be found.two hungry people gave up after a slice each and went to the bakery in search for something edible.

I went there after my visit of the ZOO , i waited for 20 min to get a table and was not disappointed at the end, the stuff were nice

Religious experience for me! I was literally happy, even exthatic after dining at Duksa! Their pizza selection is truly amazing, both the red ones (tomato-basedand the white (olive oil basedpizzas. Excellent quality of ingredients, very thin (just right!and yeast-free dough, done in the brick pizza oven, years of tradition, professional waiter, wonderful ambiance, location close to the Maksimir park... The last time I had pizza this good was in Trani, Italy, years ago. If you, on the other hand, expect thick, "fat" American-style dough with loads of ketchup which both destroy the actual taste of everything else - then this is not the place for you. Other Duksa is at the Bundek lake (only difference is that they have a gas stove, not the bricked pizza oven with wood like here). I cannot find more words to describe the taste - come and try it yourself ...

Large selection of pizzas, all very tasty! I tried a "white pizza" for a change, see picture. You can taste that they gave a real pizza oven. Real Italian crust, yummy!We were served really fast, which is always nice when dining with kids.

Nice offering of pizzas. Always busy. Pizzas were good as usual but today we had cheesecake and chocolate cake as well which were great.

A lot of positive things about this place, great pizza, arguably best pizza in whole Zagreb (at least for those who are more into thin pizzas). But for me, favourite part about this place is good vibes and energy. Nice waiters and design of the place.

The pizza is very thin and crunchy, the place cosy and family oriented. Definitely the quality of the ingredients is out of discussion, but its a completely different kind of pizza from what you might be used to.

The best pizza ever, worth every kuna! Thin dough, tasty ingredients and excellent service. The final touch-basil leaves on top of the topping 😋No photos to add, we ate it to quickly, there was no time to take pics 😂

This is the perfect place to have a meal before or after going for a walk around the beautiful Bundek park. The staff kindly welcomes you into the restaurant which guaranteed a fantastic service throughout our meal. The food is nothing short of delicious, and having "Volim Ljuto" spicy sauces lined up on our table was a fantastic addition. On top of that, they have a great taste in music — 80s and 90s top hits made sure the atmosphere in the restaurant was more than just enjoyable.

Great pizza, I recommend Bolje grana na rukoli nego golub na grani. 2 out of 2 my favorite beers- ABA from 5th Element Brewery and Tomislav- the best Croatian beer. Excellent and kind personnel.

Amazing pizzas! We were served by hearth warming waitress while pizza was done in like 5 minutes.Couldn’t believe they made it so fast.Prices are quite good for this part of town.Would recommend to everyone, enjoy!

Great pizza in ZG next to the beautiful city park Maksimir although bit further from the center but definitely worth a trip.Our go to place every time we are in Zagreb.

Great pizza thin base, nice location, terrace outsude is a bonus. Olives were bitter taste, should use proper kalamata instead, also truffles additon is olive based and it should include actuall local istrian tartufi

Its way too expensive for Croatian-style Napoli-influenced pizza. Ingredients were rare on the pizza and mozzarella melts a different way, so I dont see them using proper mozzarella. Which is very Croatian to do and is ok, but dont charge 64 kn for a non-pizza.

The best pizza I have ever had. The dough is very thin and crunchy. Toppings are rich and of good quality. Prices is higher, pizzas go from 55 kn and above

If you like pizzas then this is definitely a place to visit our the Zagreb pizza circuit. In terms of style, these are super thin and crispy pizzas, very nice and light to eat, with interesting toppings and a nice little char on the dough. The building is anonymous and new but the interior is charmingly decorated with a purple theme and plenty of fragrant basil plants. Some people may prefer Napoli or New York pizzas but this type is perfectly suitable. My shitake pizza was simple but there was nothing I could fault.

A bit pricey but worth it. They offer different delicious thin crust pizzas with uncommon but funny names. Place is clean, cosy, with a winter terrace, staff is nice and friendly.Last time I visited was during the pandemic and I was pleased they were following all regulations.

How can you write that there is mozzarella in pizza? Mozzarella is premium cheese for pizza and it is funny how much grams of mozzarella you put on pizza. No worth of money that you pay for few slice of thin pizza, with no cheese, no tomato souse, dry pizza or should I call these sandwich?

Had a great time here. Pizza was delicious, really liked the thin crust and fresh ingredients. Table service was great and personnel was really good and helpful. We received our pizza really fast, however there werent that many people in the restaurant at that time.One interesting thing is that all the pizzas have some interesting names on the menu, so at the same time you are reading the ingredients and having a good chuckle reading those names.Pizzas are a bit pricey, but they are worth their price in the end.

Although Ive been here before and the pizza was great, todays experience was terrible. Waiters are too inexperienced and negative, service is horrible, we left before ordering because they drove us away. Duknovićeva around 18h 8.11.20.

One of the best pizzas in Zagreb! I’m not really fond of very thin pizza dough, but “No silence of the lambs” is GREAT. Dogs allowed on the terrace, what more do you need? Ah, yes, tap weissbier :-)Make sure to take spicy olive oil and some extra rucola!

At this moment the best pizza in Zagreb. Great ambient, friendly staff, fast service and very interesting choice of pizza. The only thing that is negative is lack of parking space, recommendation is to not visit with car.

Its definitely a place where you can try out some of the best pizzas in Zagreb. And most original ones, too. The atmosphere is cozy, suitable both for dates as well as family gatherings. Prices are a bit higher, but considering quality, its the best value for money.

Tasty pizza called by funny names with fresh ingredients in super cool interior. Definitely go and see place near maksimir park. It has it own history written on the plate mat.
