Pizza Works in Gawler

Pizza was good. The girl who took the order was a bit ditsy. When the pizza was cooked she asked if wed paid for it because it didnt have paid on the docket. Shes the one who took the money!! Hard to get good help I guess.

Pizza was nice, but the young girls serving need to be trained a bit more, lack customer skills.

Was always our go to, for years !! But last waiting almost 3 hours for a large pizza after a couple of calls & being told it was minutes away... happened last time as well..lost us now im afraid

Terrible customer service, every time you ring up they say it’s 15mins away knowing full well they probably haven’t even cooked it yet. if your busy just say your busy. Don’t say pizza will be delivered in 1 hour and have a 3hour+ wait.

Don’t order from here.. ordered at 5.50 tried calling them 37 times to no answer and at 8.15 drove there to collect our two pizzas.. ended up ordering good reliable pizza from the Golden Fleece instead.Highly don’t recommend. All good if you’re busy but don’t tell customers one hour!

Absolutely disgusting customer service. We ordered our pizza at 5:30 when we were told it would be delivered within the hour. Tried calling the shop on numerous occasions but could not get through as our pizza was already an hour and a half late. Pizza guy rocked up after we had already gone to another store, 3 hours later. No discount. No free pizza. No apology.

Worst customer service!!We have 10+ people over for dinner and after waiting 3 hours for our pizzas, and deciding to go pick one up from somewhere else, the guy comes to the door doesn’t apologise for the wait! And when we declined to pay for the pizza he said he wouldn’t leave it, no free pizza no discount NO APOLOGY!!!No call to say they’d be late, and wouldn’t answer our multiple calls to try to find out where our pizza is….Ridiculous, rude staff, too long of a wait.

Absolutely terrible ordered pizza for delivery and got told it would be an hour… waited 1.5 hours and rang the shop about 20 times no answer straight to voicemail for them to rock up 3 hours late and wouldn’t even consider a discount or anything for the mistake wasn’t even apologetic at all

OMG thought we would get Pizza delivered worst mistake EVER ordered at 5.50pm online said it would be maximum 90mins which is a bit rich but understand its a Friday night. Rang after 2 hr wait to be told it would be another 15 minutes then to have it arrive at 825pm. Yes we have learnt NEVER EVER get it delivered. Poor girl delivering the pizza must get a lot of abuse. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else after reading the reviews.

We ordered the Meat Lovers. Delicious pizza with a generous amount of toppings on a fresh base. Bit of a wait on this Friday night so order ahead if you can.

Ordered pizza online and waited over 2 hours before it even got delivered.

Over an hour and a half wait for an average pizza is not on not in this day and age but at least it was under the 2 hour wait we have awhile ago the pizza is usually better than what we got called after an hour and 10 because our grandson was starving was told another 12 mins it turned up about 20mins later and was hot so obviously just cooked so at least it was hot nothing very good to say about the experience that’s for sure

Ordered pizza at 5.50 was told it would be 1hour and 15 minutes away. That was fine but after 2 phone calls being told it was 15minutes away each time it finally arrived at 9.00 oclock. Good pizza but wont be ordering again.

I rang after two hours as my pizza had not been delivered. I was told it would be 5 mins away. Went out the front of my house and saw the delivery guy picking my pizza up from across the road. He was apologetic and handed it to me but it was completely cold. It was obvious that it was delivered to the wrong address and had been sitting there for some time before the delivery guy came to find it.Extremely disappointing

Not the best pizza. They used that cheap filler ham that taste like toxic leftovers. Who puts loads of ham on a pepperoni pizza. Chicken BBQ was not very goof either. Never again. The cokecola was the highlight lol

Pizza tastes great usually. This time it took almost 2 hours for only 2 large 12inch pizzas to be made and get delivered literally only down the road from the store. The yiros pizza was nice and just warm where as the second pizza was cold and didnt taste as good as it should of. Really dissapointed as we said to our children they were going to have pizza for dinner but instead had to cook them dinner and get them into bed because by the time the pizza came 2 hours later it was bed time.

My first time here, great service and I really enjoyed the pizza the tast was authentic not a simulation of what a pizza should taste like. Thank you Pizza Works

Waited 2.5 hours for pizzas to be delivered After calling to confirm was told we are busy and they’ll get there. If your hungry order from somewhere else.

I rang at 9.00 pm and they did not even show up been ringing then no answer I think there rude dont even ring me back to let me know anything now 11.00 two hours later after they said be there in twenty minutes not here place colsed now and I am still hoping but why I dont know worst place in the world for caring about there customers not even a phone call wow pizza works you should be more considerate not worth it any more going somewhere else for now on

Please try these guys out, consistently good pizzas, they dont last long at home thats for sure. Plenty of flavour, plenty of toppings.

Terrible service. After 2 hours waiting (for a delivery estimate of 1hr 20 mins), called about 10 times over an hour, only to either be hung up on or just rung out. Driver arrived 3 hours 15 minutes later...after wed given up and eaten something else. Nope.

This was the most delicious pizza we have had in years and great value too! Sooo glad to have found this shop as I wasn’t impressed with others in the area!

Tried on a whim to support local over large franchise. It was significantly better value for money than the franchises. The pizzas had so much topping on them and not cheap filler. They were very meaty pizzas. Also I got the bbq plum ribs. They were very good ribs for a pizza place.

Without a doubt, some of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, not only that, but the quality and service I rate very highly, thanks guys, keep doing what your doing, works for me👍

Best pizza shop in Gawler, and believe me Ive tried them all. Great prices, great taste, great amount of topping. Perfect garlic bread. The 15" budget pizzas on Monday and Wednesday for $12 are the best deal around. I usually go here at least once a week, Ive never had a bad feed here.

Best pizza in Gawler! Generous toppings and friendly staff. More “traditional” style pizza with shredded ham! Yum Also have a gluten free base option available that also tastes good

Great tasty food. Pizza was phenomenal. Heaps of toppings heaps of flavour. Also got a potato bake. So very filling. Tasted amazing

Very unhappy with your service. The pizzas werent hot enough the base very soft/soggy. Rang to find out where our pizzas were 25mins late was told girl left 5 mins ago. Yet a young man delivered them after 6.30. Poor service and pizzas werent that nice

Look the pizzas are the best in Gawler, but the turn around for delivery sucks. Beef it up and when its and hour and a half, throw in a garlic bread or something. Keep up the good work. Just the small things

Horrendous!We ordered pizza at 5.23pm, we were told and hour to hour and fifteen minutes.Called up at 7pm and was told the driver had just left with our pizza so it will be there any minute.7.43, still didn’t have pizza, we called again and we’re told it was just coming out of the oven, we told them the above timeline and asked for a discount and were told no. The person on the phone said only the manager can give discount and he was busy making pizza, asked if we could speak to the manager and we’re told no again.We then told them to cancel our order and they still didn’t care, they would rather have an order go to waste and receive no money over offering a small goodwill discount gesture to people that have waited over two hours for a pizza!NEVER AGAIN!

Worst customer service, I have never been treated so badly by anyone and in this case I was the customer. I gave a dismissive okay when informed my pizza was still 10 to 12 minutes away, after I arrived 4 minutes before I was told it would be ready. I then was given a tirade of abuse including a homophobic slur. I will never return.

Ordered a super special large 16.90 wow lots of topping and quick and friendly service. I wouldnt get that from the large pizza chains. Keep up the good work and keep making great pizzas

Good pizzas. Lots of toppings and flavour. Only down side is 2hr delivery time less than 2 km from shop after being told 60 mins. Rang was told 15 mins more. No 40+ mins more. Nearly 2 hrs total delivery time and charge $6 for this privilege. If I order from again it will be pick up.

Rang at 6.05pm ordered a Pizza . At 7.30 pm rang back got told it will leave in 10 mins. Ring back 20 mins later . Told I can cancel the order if I like wont leave for another 20 minutes. Lift your game Pizza Works this is not good service at all. VERY ANNOYED

Ordered a pizza at 6:10pm on a Friday and was told it would br 1hr-1hr15... at 8pm I phoned and asked if my pizza was on its way and was told it would be around 15 mins... at 8:30 I called back and was told it would be there "soon." At that point I asked for a refund and said not to worry about the pizza, they responded that the pizza had already left so I would need to send it back with the driver and they would refund me when it came back. The person didnt take any details from me on the payment and Id read other reviews here so it felt likely that I wouldnt get my refund. The manager also chose to relay a conversation back and forth via the girl who answered the phone rather than speaking directly to me to resolve the issue.When the pizza eventually arrived (more than 2.5 hours after it was orderedI was hungry and decided just to accept it, I advised the driver that I wasnt impressed by the service and to let his boss know the same. The driver rudely responded "oh well we are busy, you do what you feel you need to do."In fairness to Pizza Works, the pizza arrived hot and had plenty of topping but it was nothing in particular to write home about and was pretty disappointing given the price and the wait time.Bottom line, their customer service is atrocious and there are plenty of places nearby where the pizza is as good or better. I wouldnt waste my money here again.

come here many times and I have never had a bad experience. The cheap pizzas on a wednesday are really great and taste delicious. You cant go wrong when ordering from Pizza Works

Greeted by a friendly & smiling young woman as we entered the Store.The Pizzas were great value for money! Plenty of toppings and tasty sauce.I really enjoyed the Garlic Bread. It was soft and full of flavour.We also tried the ribs, with BBQ sauce. They were delicious.For 2 large pizzas the cook time was 25 minutes. Well worth the wait.Wheelchair ♿ parking and access is also available.

Waited and hour and a half . Worst pizza I’ve ever had . We ordered the bbq chicken delux all you could taste was bbq sauce and tomato . The mushrooms were just about non existent. The chicken was there but so over powered by the sauce it was ridiculous. Will never order here again . Wasted hour and a half waiting . At least the delivery guy was apologetic about the wait .

When my wife asked whats going on. I assume it was the owner was so rude to her. He said what did you get McDonalds? Well it was ruined before you got it. As he didnt know I was not with her as she walked out he continued to be a pig about her. Also the way he spoke to his staff was not called for. Looking now at the reviews on social media I should of not expected anything less.

Got a hair in my pizza... ordered through menu log and basically got fobbed off as "were just trying to get our money back"... never once in our complaint had we asked for a refund. We just wanted u to be aware of the situation... 2nd rate pizza... no customer service skills at all. A simple apology would have been fine. Never going back again... and will be cautioning all my friends and family in the area to steer well clear!!

I live locally and eat here all the time, thought i should get on here and give them the praise they deserve! Pizzas and parmigianas are always delicious and generous in size and toppings. Best take away in town by far! Staff always super friendly. Top job guys! Writng this whilst eating a works pizza and sipping on a whiskey. Totally satisfied! ::)

Slow seems to be a common theme. Ordered at 6:30pm (Sat). Advised it would be an hour and a half wait (7:51pm). By 8:10pm, still no pizza. Rang and queried where it was, showed up 15 minutes later. Reason: "were really busy". No apology (well, apart from the delivery driver after I voiced my displeasure). Ive never waited nearly two hours for a pizza. Incidentally, the pizza was flavourless. Not bad, just average. No better than pizza chains. Wont order from here again.
