The staff are Lazy they did not want to serve the counter or answer the phone. They argued about coming up to the counter and taking my order and were grumpy they had to. It took over half an hour to produce two small standard pizzas. The atmosphere was the worst . It was very clear they did not want customers in the store and you have made it clear you dont want our business.
Food was decent.The real problem here is the delivery driver. He called and immediately acted aggressive saying there was no parking (quiet street with own garagesand refused to walk down our path because of this. Having heard my flatmate deal with this the week prior I knew he was lying. I went up to the street in the rain and there wasnt a single car on the road and the driver didnt even get out of his car. He just wound the window down and handed it to me and thanked me acting like he didnt just shout at me on the phone for no reason.When I see posts on Vic Deals of the same Pizza Hut with pizzas delivered haphazardly, toppings slid off or upside down, I know this will be the same problematic driver who just couldnt care about anything other than himself.
Delivery arrives 1 hr late most times and when you make a phone call there line is too busy.
I ordered online to my friends house that they have been to before. They didnt deliver, hung up on me multiple times and just stopped answering the phone when I kept asking where my pizza was. I tried to follow up with customer helpline but now they arent getting back in touch and keep saying it was delivered when it wasnt and wont give me a refund. Stay away from this place, Id rate it a zero if I could.
Absolute joke, wont refund money paid for pizza they didnt cook, lie about opening hours and wont admit responsibility.

ordered a pizza for pick up at 9.10pm off the website, went to pick it up and they said they closed at 9 (it’s says they close at 11 online?). couldn’t even give me a refund, i have to go back another day for a refund
Shocking.Popped through and order at roughly 645, which estimated a 715pm delivery. It arrived around 8pm!!!. This would be fine if they picked up their phone, or sent text updates about the delay. However when I called it would just ring and then someone would pick up and hang up on me. When someone did answer after about 6-7 attempts they thought it would be funny to answer saying they were Hell Pizza. Im sorry, but with 5 kids waiting on dinner this wasnt funny to pretend to be another company and you seemed caught out when I said "Is this Pizza Hut - all I wanted to know when the order would arrive as it was a bday treat and we needed to feed the kids something else if it was delayed.Previous online experience at Mt Maunganui Pizza Hut was great, but this put me off completely and will avoid Pizza Hut in the future.
2 months ago the manager left. Ever since the store has been run by the owner (Mandeep singh), he has no clue what he is doing. This owner has been with holding pay as punishment. Fun fact also, i believe Mandeep has a multi million dollar lawsuit against him for not paying delivery drivers their annual bonus. Recently there was a case where there were 12 deliveries waiting, most of which where ordered 2-3 hours prior. There were NO delivery drivers and had to be given to the 2 staff members with cars.
Been waiting 3hr now for my pizza tried calling to get no response and have gotten no call from them ever its 11pm now and dont think im getting it at all.Update: Its 12pm pizza did not show up I am now sending a email to whoever I can hoping I can get a refund do not eat here this is just horrible service.
Has to be the worst pizza shop Ive been too. The food was so cold and we waited for over an hour and when we called all they said was sorry we will make that again. And when we asked for a refund they said that we wouldnt get one. Honestly the worst pizza place in Wellington.
We ordered $100 worth of pizza for a birthday in advance. Not only did the pizzas not arrive on time (close to an hour late), only half were delivered. I drove myself to pick up the rest and they didnt even have the garlic bread ready. It took another 30min for the garlic breads to arrive. Poor service, no prioritisation, and lack communication. Do not recommend, go elsewhere. This applies to UberEATS too in experience.
Owner is a scumbag. None of the staff enjoy working here. He cuts corners and peoples pay. Take your business somewhere else, where it will be appreciated.
A bit disappointed this time round. Pizza was reminiscent of dominos, which made the special trip from the peninsula a bit pointless, sorry.

Never sent me a tracking code, was 20 minutes late and then forgot an item in my order and told me he would be back with it but never came back. The pizza was 80% base and 20% topping. It was also apparently a contactless order but the driver called me to come outside to collect it because he “didn’t know which door to go to” even though he was left clear instructions. Just use a different delivery service honestly and don’t waste your money.
Ordered an hour ago, tried to ring but the line was constantly engaged.Our order finally arrived. Our sides were soggy, stuck together and our hash bites were like mash potatoes.Our pizza was mostly bread. The bases were very thick. 1/10 do no recommend.
Extremely extremely unhappy with our experience. Ordered at 8:45pm and now at 11:30 our food still not arrived and whenever we called the store we were told the food was minutes away and on our street. Ended up missing several events as we were told to just keep waiting.
Go elsewhere, poor service, never on time, never answer the phone, waited hour and half for a pizza (was meant to be 30 minswhich when it come it was cold and they got my drink wrong. Just so so poor never experienced anything like it. Gave the benefit of the doubt once.. now it’s happened a second time. Unbelievable

Confusing menu, "The Limo" still being advertised on the display screen yet staff day they stopped selling it 3 months ago, but my sister purchased one this week at the Gisborne branch?!?? Very hectic at peak dinner time on Saturday night before an All Blacks match, loads of delivery drivers waiting/pacing pensively for orders. Both New Yorker Cheese and Pepperoni pizza bases are far too thick and doughy, not at all like any pizzas Ive had in Manhattan NYC. Overall: meh
Driver rang and asked for me to come and grab the pizza from him in the rain. When you place an order for delivery, it should come to your door. Not only that but he forgot the drink I had ordered, telling me that he would head back to the store and grab it. He never showed up. Not first time this has happened either.
Shocking spent 63bucks everything came my buffalo wings or pieces I ordered came only 2 in the pkt tf rang the number 6 7 times no answer didnt even ring never getting pizzas or sides from this place again
My pizza was cold, undercooked, and the underside had raw flower on it and looked like it was covered in white barnacles
Ordered pizza tonight was meant to be delivered at 4.30 just showed up cold and ordered at 4. Cheap pizza I get it but service is still as horrendous always. Sort yourselves out or close

Probably the worst Pizza Hutt in New Zealand. Drivers consistently cant find my address, and are super rude over the phone. Also delivered wrong/missing orders pretty consistently.
Mmmm soggy wet chips delivered 11/10 times. Surely Pizza Hutt HQ could invest into designing some better cartons??
Ordered 25 pizzas ($250for a big group of people and when we opened the boxs the pizzas looked like they had been tossed upside down and also stuffed into the carry bag. Sub par service Pizza Hutt makes us want to take our business elsewhere. No care or quality of service demonstrated very disappointed.
Ordered in advance and to start with the delivery was 30mins late.I ordered the $26 special combo of any New Yorker Range pizza and 2 sides.I chose the New Yorker triple cheese flavour and 2 x strawberry cheesecake sides.The delivery driver forgot the cheesecakes and didnt want to return to store and collect them so offered to go buy ice cream from the supermarket to replace it and i refused.The driver then said they could drop the 2 x cheesecakes off in 1-2hrs on another delivery which I accepted.This nevwr happened and it is now over a week later!To add insult to injury the pizza delivered turned out to not be the New Yorker Triple cheese which i have had before, but a standard cheese pizza that bared no resemblance to the order and was disgusting!So i recieved a pizza worth $10.50 and no cheesecake sides and paid $26.I complained on the email order satisfaction survey and have recieved no contact to even appologise.Disgusting service!
Don’t order, they didn’t deliver, delivered it the THE NEXT DAY and wouldn’t refund! Called over and over, no one answered!! Spoke to manager finally, SAID I HAD FUTURE ordered, even tho it clearly said 10pm!! Basically theft.. the driver was happy as he said he gets a free lunch! And drove off!!

My girlfriend and I came to order two pizzas, an XL veggie lover and meat lover. Pizza Hutt New Town took over 40mins and its absolutely dead in here. Im making leaving this comment inside the store, we are still waiting😠 this is unacceptable
Absolutely Terrible Horrible Service and Misleading Staff & Im having a Mexican Standoff with the totally Ignorant server that mislead me & then wouldnt fix the screw up nor Refund me.Head up to Northland Pizza Hutt as they are decent,Something is Very Wrong with the Newtown pizza hutt store !!Even their attempt to redo my order is Still incorrect, a order that was supposed to be 11mins has turned out waiting in store One Hour & 10mins I want this 70mins Paid back to me !Restaurant Brands should Close Down this inefficient store !!
1st delivery order was charged for but was mysteriously "lost" and we had to call to chase it up when it never arrived...2nd order arrived (an hour laterwith no chicken wings, they had run out. Instead they had taken upon themselves to pour some hot sauce over some soggy chicken tenders (pictured for your pleasurethey were disgusting and went in the bin. You should have just refunded the money or adviced when we called you up!Youve lost yourself a couple of customers tonight, well done.
Worst customer service. The worker was busy chopping pizzas while a line of customers were waiting for their order to be taken. I ordered after 10 minutes of waiting and was told to wait 20 more minutes just for a pizza. Thats not how you treat people at 12pm rush hours.
Worst service I have ever received in New Zealand. First when I ordered pizza online they completely changed order which was $15 less than the money I paid. As someone else picked up my order they did not bother to recheck. After receiving my order I called them and they apologise and gave me verbal assurance that I will get my money back extra one they charged which I have not received until now and they even gave me $15 credit for the New town store and asked me to tell that when I order again. To my surprise when I went there to avail my credit, the incharge of the night shift who was not the manager does not know how credits work and he said his manager is unreachable and he cannot do anything in his power to help me in getting any credit. So I ended up paying again and hope this time they make my order right. Never going to recommend this store because of mismanagement and unhelpful. They should teach their staff how to manage sales and system.
Pizza bases (all 4were covered in flour and every time we took a bite our mouths filled with flour and just couldnt eat them. Rang the store 13 times with no answer so drove down to be told the pizzas were fine with my hands covered in gritty flour and that this was normal for sourdough. Weve had them before and its not normal!Wouldnt give refund - they have to contact head office for a refund which will take 1 to 2 days. Had ran out of sourdough bases so couldnt remake - kept arguing that pizzas were fine.Really disappointing customer service. And hungry kids! Wont be going back sadly.
Lukewarm pizza delivered 25m late. I understand busy night but lying doesn’t help anyone. I booked online so the delivery time was determined by them not me. I rang after waiting 10m to be told it was nearly there. No surprises that when i called again after 20m I was again told it was nearly there - in the days of gps and mobile phones saying you can’t find it is no excuse, especially when it’s a well numbered hotel and I’m standing outside.
The most useless Pizza Hut in Wellington. Our food took 1.5hrs to arrive, and when it did they’d got our order wrong, the pizzas were cold, and one of them inexplicably had a cardboard-like gluten free base that was undercooked. We ended up chucking it because it was so bad.Go to literally any other Pizza Hut
Its ok, but its a Pizza Hut, so its never going to be anything special. The pizzas are fine, but the shop is soulless, and the staff can be a bit terse at times. Parking nearby is easy and plentiful if you want to pick up, and delivery is available from their web site.
Pizzas are noticeably smaller compared to other locations, my large was only slightly bigger than a "regular" pizza. Also the bases were undercooked and doughy
Ordered for delivery last night at 6:15pm to be delivered at 7:30pm (after a hard day of moving furniture about). At 8pm still hadnt received my order, so attempted to ring the store - the line was constantly engaged - I kept trying till 8:30. At that point I was so hungry that I ordered from Dominos for pick up and was back home with food within 15 minutes. At 8:45pm I got a text from Pizza Hut saying my order was on the way - like it was perfectly normal to deliver a meal that late. The delivery person knocked on the door at 9pm - 1.5 hours late - he claimed to know nothing about how late it was. I have no idea why they offer a delivery service if they cant actually deliver food in a reasonable amount of time. No other business is that appalling when it comes to delivery. I had problems last time I ordered from them as well. Its like a game of Russian roulette ordering food from Pizza Hut as to whether you will actually get it or not.
Experienced the worst pizza on Saturday night. I was the last customer to serve. Received un well cooked chicken deluxe pizza. I was sure the oven was shut off when my pizza was in the middle of the oven. Had a tough night with out proper dinner.....Let’s see what’s come back?I separated the chicken. I been in pizza hutt Newtown on Sunday night.and I ordered two vegetarian pizzas. When I came home and opened the boxes I found one pizza was chicken fajita instead of veggie fajita. Me and my husband was very disappointed because We are strictly vegetarian. Immediately we went back and requested them to change pizzas but they said we will change one pizza only. I requested them please change both pizzas because for second pizza you might be use same cutter. It’s matter of our religion so can’t eat. But they said you have to pay if you want return second pizza as well. The girl was on customer service was so humble but the manager was very rude. And was not understanding the matter. He was talking very aggressively and shouted and said to customer service girl bring both pizzas at back. We don’t have time for them. His behaviour was so irrespective and insulting. Me and my husband was very disappointed. We decided to never go back Newtown Pizza Hut.being a manager he should know about the feelings of customers. And respect their culture and religion. When we went back with wrong pizzas we didn’t complained. We just requested very humbly,
Very friendly female employee at the front counter about 6:30pm this evening. Very polite even with how busy it was tonight with first night again of level 2 covid 19 lockdown rules.I really hope she gets pay rise from her manager or at least some bonus money for her incredible way of managing the front store with the amount of customers coming in. She was able to multi task with serving customers, checking orders that are ready to give to customers, being polite, resilient, calm and generally going the extra mile for customers. Definitely needs to be promoted if she hasnt already, I wish I remembered her name I would have noted here at how good of a worker she was. Its rare to see these days people who work in fast food place that care about their job, their hygiene, being motivated etc. Excellent staff worker. Pizza has been great the last few times Ive come in here within the last couple months.
First order didnt show up, then when it did, it was wrong.I ordered online a Triple Cheese from the New Yorker Range & jalapeno poppers.Almost an hour after it was meant to show up, I rang the store who said itd be with me soon.When it arrived, it was the pepperoni pizza. The delivery guy rang the store to try and sort it, but instead they wanted to speak with me.The pizza hut employee on the phone was very rude, insisting over & over that I ordered the pepperoni, even after reading him my receipt.20 minutes after that I got the correct pizza, what a ball-ache.
Have previously had good experiences here, theyve always been prompt and happily dealt with my drunk friends antics during late night pizza runs. However, last time I was there it took at least 15 mins to get the one pizza I ordered. They seemed a little busy with delivery orders, but I thought this was too long of a wait for a single pizza. The pizza I received was a bit colder and soggier than last time too. At least the staff were apologetic about the wait. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.
Would have given 2 stars if it was just the lady, but her husband (?saved the day with his friendliness and helpful response. We went during a very quiet lunch time and had ordered online but had been overcharged (coupon was entered but not properly applied at checkout.The man was helpful to organise the refund. Fast service on making the pizza. Good gluten free crust. Could have done with more sauce on the base though as it was dry.
