MoreDelivered pizza by leaving it on the doorstep (over an hour lateand not knocking, or texting, or emailing,or any form of communication, to let me know it was there. Not a surprise it was cold, and the lid had blown open.I get youre busy, late I can handle, but not even knocking? Bad service.
MoreAbsolutely appalling customer service! Some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a pizza and sides which were never delivered. Called to calmly inquire about status when the food was 30 minutes late and was told it had been marked as “delivered” and should arrive within 5 minutes. Called back 15 minutes later as it still hadn’t arrived. After speaking to two more people I was told that the delivery driver couldn’t find my address and there was a problem with the phone number so they had just given up. I could either pick up the food in person (not possible, hence ordering deliveryor pay an additional fee to have it re-delivered, but they couldn’t provide a delivery window at all and at this stage the food was already two full hours late. I was repeatedly told a manager would call to follow up - but never received a call. Finally gave up and ordered food from elsewhere (the food came right away and the delivery driver had absolutely no problem finding my address). Called back the next day and an extremely rude manager told me that it was my fault the food couldn’t be delivered. First that I’d written the wrong address (false, easily proven with my confirmation), then that I’d left some kind of note insisting on receiving a phone call before delivery (also completely false!), and then that it was my fault because their call to me didn’t go through. I was told they would not issue any refund or do anything at all to make it right. So I wasted $45 on food and delivery fees and heaps of time - and not only did I never receive what I paid for, I was also abused by their dishonest staff. Unreal.
MoreAbsolutely the worst place to get pizza is run by teenages that dont know whats in the oven...$70 dollars worth of pizza got cold pizzas because they forgot to make the last pizza also have sent head office a video of your worker eating chips from the deep fryer. MoreMyself and friends ordered pizza and sides as a group. When it was half an hour late we called, we’re told the driver ran out of fuel, but it’d arrive shortly. Makes sense. Call when it’s now an hour over it’s original delivery time. Get vague response that it’ll be their soon, and that it’s still be warm (as if). Upon asking for a refund given the fact the pizza is over an hour late, they ask if we still want the pizza. We said yes, because of course we do, but we’ve been waiting for a little over an hour.It’s been almost two hours now. No pizza. Can’t get through the phone. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. You won’t get food. You won’t get a refund. Useless service. I will never buy from this place or this service again. And from the sounds of neither will the rest of the flat.[EDIT] finally got through on the phone. May be able to get a refund when a manager calls back next morning after (my friendsdetails were given. Still no food. I will NEVER order from this chain or recommend it ever again[EDIT] arrived. Cold obviously. Driver was nice and very apologetic about the situation. We’ll about the refund situation[Edit] over a week later. No refund or follow up call.
MorePre-ordered a pizza at 5pm for arrival at 7:15pm. The pizza arrived, and it was the wrong pizza. I called them - I understand mistakes happen - and asked if they could re-send the one I ordered. The employee said he couldnt refund the pizza, and that I would need to call over the weekend for when his manager was in. I sucked it up and ordered another pizza (I was real hungry), and it never arrived. I was charged for both.Finally got the manager on the phone on the weekend, where they were able to sort out my refund.Not the employees fault - the management needs to be present for situations like this. Pretty insane that they only appear on weekends.

More11am today (25/01/22I ordered 2 pizzas plus sides to be delivered at 1pm for my daughters birthday party. Hadnt arrived by 1.25pm so I rang and was told that the driver was in Karori and it would be with us very shortly. At 2pm I rang again and after the shop rang the driver, I was told they were outside the house. By this point the kids were starving and we had had to feed them sandwhiches so they no longer were hungry for pizza. A waste of hard earned cash and spoilt my kids party. Btw the pizza was still hot at 2pm so I guess the lady on the phone was lying when I rang the first time.
MoreOrdered 2 veg pizzas yesterday (02/12/2021, collected the order about 7:30 PM- it had a bit of strange taste (mouldy I would say), but we didnt pay enough attention. The next morning the whole family has stomach issues... nice one! Have the order number if youd like to investigate.

Instead, 10 mins and extra payment later, I was given the same exact pizza with topping thrown over the cooked toppings. By this time the pizza was cold. Definitely not recommend.
MorePizza and service are average, nothing particularly good or bad, fitout is a bit tired but its just a take away. Best to order ahead rather than wait. Parking can be difficult at peak times, with many take away shops nearby.

MoreIts really worst service, we ordered 1 xtra large pizza , and 2 sides , the order took allmost half hour to be ready, so we just wait outside in our van , after half hour when we went for pickup pizza so they give me 2 large size pizza and 2 sides instead of 1 xtra large pizza and 2 sides and I asked the staff that you might give me the wrong order so they said they out of stock for xtra lagre base, so for this thing they should inform me before when i was paying. And the staff was very rude and i paid $24.50 and they just gave me refund for $24 . Its really worst service, don’t prefer this northland store again.
MoreIm very Disappointed with my order and delivery tonight. My order was 30mins late and my 3 pizzas i ordered were warmish and my hot chips were soggy azz hell. To make the matter even worse, the lady i was speaking to on the phone wasnt very helpful. I rung her a few times but the 4th time she wouldnt answer. Honestly i wont be ordering from the karori pizza hut again, even my kids are disappointed and they love pizza hut. Dominos it is!!!!!!
MoreConsistently bad service - items missing which they refuse to deliver again, and expect to provide no compensation for the time taken and added expense to collect missing items for which delivery was already paid for. They just give random sauces instead of what was actually ordered - presumably as they arent commonly requested and are close to expiring. This has happened consistently for the last 5 times I made the mistake of ordering through this store. To top it off, they seem to always have their phone off the hook to ensure customers can only complain by either coming instore, or submit an online complaint which takes days to be resolved.

MorePizza delivery does not come to the door, this is a constant occurrence. Items ordered are different to what is delivered, eg coke no sugar is always coke, onion rings come in tiny boxes not the normal ones.

I picked up the pizzas and didnot open it in the middle.Then I contacted Pizza Hut via the contact information from Pizza Hut app. Customer Care Pizza hut NZ contact me by email, I sent the photo to them. Then they said it should be a plastic piece from the sauce bottle. Ok, fine. Then I replied the email and said I still kept the that in the box and I am pretty sure its a nail!One lady then contacted me and asked me to post it to them to do further analysis. And they kept saying its a plastic piece and dont trust me. I insisted I could not post the whole thing to them. The lady was not happy. I think its enough to do the analysis with half of it(I am insane, but just want to test them).There was no response 3 weeks after they received the package. Probably its hard to tell its a plastic or nail for the customer care team.After following-up, they replied with a template-style answer that Pizza hut has hygiene plicy that all the stuff must adhere to. And based on the size, the nail was not from any of their employees. Thats ridiculous.I will not order anything from pizza hut. I am not suggesting all the stores have same issue but at least the custer care team didnot really care the customer.

Once more order was missing one of two jalapeño poppers and was cold.Upon noticing a missing side I called out to the driver who saw and heard me and still drove off. He also made me come out of my house instead of coming to the door.When I called the store before order was received at 7:30pm they said they were busy. I understand if wed made the order late but we had placed the order two hours before hand. When we rang the store to complain about the missing item the phone was engaged. After trying for 3 hours we gave up.and called the next morning and they said theyd ask the driver to see what happened and get back to me but they did not call us back.As far as Im concerned they stole my money having not delivered the full order.Unfortunately this has been the third time this has happened in 6 months where there is something missing or it is late.Pretty poor customer service!

Finally when the complete order was ready, instead of 4 chocolate mousse only 3 were packed.Topping quantity varies by who is preparing the order...Diagnoses - too many orders, not enough staff, and the staff on floor running around like headless chickens!

After 45 mins (20 mins after pizza huts delivery estimateand without receiving any tracking information, we called to ensure that the order was in the way. This call was met with rudeness and we were told that the meal was 10 minutes away. 10 minutes later the pizzas turned up, all of them cold, one of them overcooked (close to burntand stiff as a board.The worst aspect of it all was the rudeness. Clearly this is the standard mode of operation at this store, judging by other recent reviews. Whoever is running the show should move right away from a customer service based role as they clearly dont have a clue how to run a store.An abysmal experience overall, I wont be shopping there again. Steer well clear. Seriously, run to the hills.
MoreFor the most part, Ive never had any big issue with this branch. Theyve made mistakes on at least four different pizzas but have apologised and had great customer service so all was forgiven. Tonight my partner went in and within a few minutes, witnessed a loud argument between the workers which resulted in a 20 minute wait (on pizzas that were ready for pick upand what I can assume, an unpleasant night for the employees involved. The customer service was inconsistent between customers with different servers, the woman with the glasses and a pony tail seemed great but whoever was in charge needed to step up. My partner among other witnesses wondered if they would need to resolve the issue themselves. Completely unprofessional and unfortunately lost a loyal and very hungus customer.

Moreokay i usually dont write reviews for place but this was really, really bad. the pizza came over an hour late, and the actual pizza order was incorrect. they didnt have cash for change, so we had a big fuss over paying. the employees didnt think much of it, and seemed to be laughing the whole time, which wasnt very good. please work on improving your service my dudes !EDIT: they also didnt give us a receipt god please get better service guys
MoreOrdered a gluten free veggie lovers hold the pesto. Unfortunately there was a language barrier with the Indian agent on the phone, so went round in circles trying to understand each other and to set in stone the fact that no pesto was to be added.To add to it, the agent was unfamiliar with his own menu, firstly asking if “veggie lovers” meant “vegan lovers”. To my knowledge there is no item in the menu called vegan lovers. He then asked what size for the gluten free base (gluten free base only comes in large).Thought since I had said multiple times no pesto, there wouldn’t be any pesto.Surprise surprise, it’s covered in nasty slimy pesto :(

MoreI have ordered from this pizza hut more times than I can count, always delivery, over the course of about a year. In that time they have only messed up ONE of my orders, and when they did, they gave me the two pizzas I had ordered, AND the pizza that they had made a mistake on, they then apologized for messing up my order. Absolutely fantastic dedication to customer satisfaction from my experience.
MoreOrdered online and driver dropped both pizzas on way. Delivered half cooked sides and then went back to get new pizzas. Only returned with one pizzas and still waiting on second pizza almost two hours after originally ordering. Will be going to dominos next time!

Paid and waited 20mins before I asked what was going on with my order, only to find it was ready on arrival just sitting in the warmer. No apology for wasting my time. Had plenty of staff on site but most of them were too busy chatting instead of doing their job. Terrible service! Extremely slow!
