Pitstop Roadhouse in East London

They usually have the best food for miles but I was quite disappointed with their large beef and rice curry. The portion was small and the curry was bland with chutney sauce to garnish. The Bad Boy burger was absolute perfection. The name is perfect for it.

We ordered food via the Mr D food app, service was exactly as displayed on the app BUT the food ! WAS JUST AMAZING. Better than expected, we had a beef pitstop burger, calamari burger both with chips and onion rings. Definitely recommend their food.

Bought Fish n chips on Saturday. Was over cooked almost burnt... Sad as they used to have good food.

Service delivery has gone backwards. Waited 35min for 2 large chips and the staff looked like they didnt want to be there.

Ive tried this place once but Ive never heard anything bad about it, the food is good, the staff is ok, its got a really nice roadhouse theme to it that most people end up mistaking as a car service centre but I think its brilliant if you really appreciate it, definitely worth a visit.

Shop was quiet when we went after 6pm. Had my order within 20 minutes. Good service

Their food is really good, you get your moneys worth - definitely reasonably priced. Really enjoy their spicy devils kiss chicken burger and their chips are also quite good. Only thing they need to work on is the time it takes but i suppose quality takes time 🙂 so its worth the wait.

Food was nice but they dont have sanitazer to wash your hands when you enter the shop not even on the counters.

Friendly and helpful staff :-D Food is fast and reallly good! They also have a whatsapp number on which you can pre-order your takeaways which is a great time saver!

Try the Beef chilli burger, best I ever had.

I am not one to make bad reviews however i wouldnt even give Pitstop a 1 star rating. Was highly disgusted. Placed an order. Collected it. Was absolutely horrified at the condition of our of our meal. The angel wings were all burnt and dried out. Chicken strips were still pink inside. Contacted the owner. Said we were obviously given the previous days chicken. Atleast he was honest enough. Said hed replace our entire order. Sadly that was not the case. We were told they would only replace one 12 PC angel wings and we would be responsible for the remainder of the order. We couldnt even eat any of the chicken. Absolutely disgusted in the manner in which we were treated. Not about money. But about proper business ethics.

The food is inconsistent. Sometimes its really oily. Sometimes the fries are good. Sometimes the burgers taste of curry!!

Ordered a meaty deluxe pizza and spent the entire meal picking pork rib bones off the pizza. Very disappointing

Nice easy roadhouse type food. Sit down or take away. Great milkshakes and Slushies.

Lovely decor, roadhouse feel, nice burgers on menu and milkshakes, only needed aircon, fan was too hot inside. Food was OK chips great, veggie burger big and a bit strange in that it had diced veggies in a fried batter patty. SERVICE GOOD

i love your food 5 stars always, but today my brother and i ordered 2 burgers from you(via MR D). these burgers had more salt on it than an Egyptian salt pan. otherwise ive never had a problem with your food.Best food in town except for today.
