Pitos Restaurant II in North Providence

ALMOST as good as Pitos 1 on the Southside. Dont eat Mexican... Dominican stewed beef with the carrots over seasoned rice and beans! With plenty left over for lunchtime tomorrow. Dont forget to order "chinola" jugo to drink the local Dominican word passion fruit.

Johnny and Margarita were so kind and welcoming. It was so cute-We asked what was recommended or what’s good? Margarita replied “todos y el mejor tocinos!” We ordered 4 dinner plates (rice and a sideweighting about 10 pounds a plate😝- they really load up your plate to ensure you’re not only full but happy, so come hungry. Highly recommend this place!!!

Really good food and good service friendly

Photos has gone downhill..the quality of food and presentation is unappetizing. The rice and beans are good,platano ok...everything is saturated in oil..especially soup.Too bad..oh..and it needs a good cleaning desperately EVERYWHERE

The food tastes very good but a lot of the times the rice is dried out/burnt. They don’t accept card payments, there’s no parking anywhere! Worst street ever! Pitos on Broad Street is 10x better!

The food used to be worth the drive but not any more. No facemasks and the ones who do Dont have them attached properly. Overcrowded. The rice with gandules looks like it was cooked in swamp water.. Absolutely disappointed. Both locations are the same yuck.

Love the food. Always have. The building needs some updating. The beef needs its potatoes and carrots back.

When you have never tasted really great Spanish food (or in their case Dominican foodyou will say this is one of the best places to eat in Providence. Unfortunately it is not. Hunger, cheap & on the run comes to mind whenever I think of those who enjoy their food. Its in the same class as Carolinas, La Gran Parada, El Pez Dorado & many, many others in Providence RI. They are all cheap & terrible. It is just the same old greasy grub with a different name. Either the food is over-cooked, old mixed with fresh, overspiced or just plain old BLAH this is not one of the best. The bigger they become the worst they tend to be. This is a true example of someone making something good at home who is praised so much that they believe they should open a restaurant to make money & somehow satisfy the demands for this type of cooking & eventually lose the touch that made it good enough to eat.

Great food but I dont speak Spanish unfortunately so I did have difficulty communicating... delicious food at great prices. Definitely worth the money.

I enjoy this place for spanish food in Prov. The rice n beans and stewed chicken are my fav.

Food was tasteless and cold sitting for hours. Also bathroom toilet would not flush. So happy the sink worked.

Great place. Food is amazing. Only con is theres not a lot of people there who speak English and no where to park but Dont let that get in the way of trying their food!

Pitos is a long standing establishment in the city they have been in the city for generations servicing the community with great authentic food and great prices & portions. The owner and workers are very friendly. There is often a line at peek times of the day but it is well worth the wait. Its a great place to grab lunch on the go or for a quick bite.

The women and the restaurant was very helpful, and my Spanish is extremely American talk, LOL they were patient and very helpful in helping me complete my order.

Pitos is always great tasting chicken beans and rice they give great portions for the price and the flavors are awesome just have to be careful they cleve the meat for some reason and there are small sharp bone fragments in the rice that should tell you how good I think this food is because despite the bone fragments i love this food

Great food , homemade feel 1000 times better than McDonalds. I get take out at least once a week .... cheap money.

Good place good food kind expense but good

Good food, but also depends on who the server is. I go early in the day as the ladies are a little friendlier.

We were the only ones in line waiting for someone to serve us or ask us what we needed. The place looked a bit run down. After we order our food it took forever to serve us. We felt a bit uneasy and unsafe there where men begging for money inside the restaurant before we got there and after we left.

Their serving was very good.i like the stew pork and fry pork.also the fry sweet potato.

My favorite place for beans and rice. Very lovely staff and good food cooked fresh daily

Ready made fresh food where you order as you wish at each designated food slots (like in ChipotleI always have rice and beans with beets.... Excellent food with great prices and good customer service

Food is great!!! Building is in rough shape and not a place I would take a woman on a date, However if you want a traditional dominacan meal like mom would cook this place cant be beat!!!! Food five stars atmosphere 2 stars! Just like home honest good people making the best of what they have!!! Love this place...

Food was great and prices reasonable. Highly recommend this place!! Time waiting was not even 2 minutes. When in a rush for lunch breaks from work a short wait time is VERY important and Pito’s delivers on fast friendly service along with tasty food choices. Definitely recommend and will be going back quit often. 😁
