Excellent meals and friendly staff!

It was sooo bad I cant explain the service was bad the "chef" was eating an apple over the stove no gloves no forks had to eat with my hands it was overall nasty

Took my son for first time,three man ran the kitchen .one eating a apple while cooking no gloves ...we had no utensils,condiments or napkins unless we got up to ask ..the man cooking with a apple asked me to reach inside for vinegar and forks ...will truly never go back and the food was gross did not finish...ON TOP OF THAT HE MADE ME THINK TAP ON MY CARD WAS NOT WORKING AND ADDED 25%FLIPPING TIP !!!VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER !!

I went here as a kid with my parents and i l9ved the food never got disappointed, the food is still the same as i remember and i cant get over the food at this amazing location.

Gem in the rough! This is the type of food you will find in this Pita Shack. Dont be fooled by the exterior coat! The veggies were fresh, the beef had this nice charcoal crust, the homemade tzaziky was sharp and clear, and the portions are generous. Bring lots of napkin at your table because it will be dripping with goodness! All at a very affordable price. This experience beats many restaurant in Ottawa.Pita Shack is culture, and you want a taste of it... trust me.

I happened upon the Pita shack recently and was quite surprised at the overall experience. Most venues akin tend to express passion when it comes to the flavour and overall quality service, hospitality, cuisine. Thus, I digress I wont be specific however I will say this; the front of house seemed more affixed on the next one as opposed to the next order. The back of house was not available for an exeedingly lengthy amount of time. Overall. The food was good. But the aftertaste was anything but. Sorry folks I will not be returning. Star for the lamb.

The last three times I ordered from here it has been a disaster….#1….order was wrong…..#2….couldn’t eat gyro because it had so much oregano on it I couldn’t eat it, went in garbage…#3 which was last night July 29….absolutely horrible…..I ordered two beef gyros with extra extra sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and green peppers…..I GOT…..two gyros with hardly any meat ( the meat filled the container that the gravy came insmall side , lettuce on it ….that was it…..I called pita pit back and was rudely asked what they should do about it…..this place has gone downhill, worst 40.00 I ever spent

Hands down #1 place in town to eat! The pricing is fair for what you get and is so worth it! Always super friendly staff, the food is always super fresh, and honestly I can’t say enough about this restaurant. I have now even got my parents addicted to this place and none of my family and friends have ever got sick from this place. Only thing we ever got from this place was a super full belly, garlic breath for a day which just made us want more, and a sense of complete satisfaction!

Had their signature sub one is enough for two people was delicious was not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Great place to get a pita, or my favourite order - the Lunchbox! So tasty, filling and healthy for lunch or supper. Staff are always pleasant even though they are always busy and delivery is usually pretty quick too. One of my favourite food places in town!

Awesome food worth what you pay for.

Me and a group of my buddies came here for a quick bite to eat and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Great service and the lady even gave us complementary fries. 10/10 would 100% eat here again.

It has been 11 years since I lived in the valley. I used to see Paulie regularly for my "ninja" salad as he used to call it.Honestly it is the best place in Pembroke to get a bite. The servings are big, the meat tastes good and personable service.Its my wifes hometown, I was a transplant now living back in the GTA and I was asked where to eat there. This was the only positive place I could come up with from memory

Best place to stop for lunch and dinner. As someone for out town I just stop by with my fiance for dinner while we had a long road trip. The service was excellent, the food was tasty and well portioned. If we are ever travel through Pembroke again, we would definitely be stopping by here again!

What a place. Owner was extremely nice. Food was fresh and tasted great and the portion for what I paid was incredibly huge. I never have a problem finishing my food but this time I couldnt finish. Was not expecting that much food. Will definitely return when Im back in the area.

Great quantity of meat and sides of toppings. Ordered a Gyros and it is enough for 2 average eaters. $9.95 each for chicken or beef. Has a lot more than just Gyros on the menu. Will definitely be there again.

Food is great. Customer service could use some work. Ordered delivery and there seemed to be only two people struggling to answer a phone and serve people in restaurant, they seemed to expect me to know all their toppings and stuff off of the top of my head and were kind of impatient with me but I think its more the nature of the situation not the people. Just be more mindful, much love.

So, from the outside you would drive by and not really guess that this place houses some of the best greek cuisine in Pembroke. Dont judge a book by its cover. Family owned and very proud of serving excellent food with friendly conversation. My go to place for a gyro.

Came to Pembroke to be with my Grandfather who was moved to Palliative Care. I left the hospital to get food for my mother and myself, and this place was recommended by another family member. I walked in an received the warmest and friendliest greeting from behind the counter. Not really knowing what I wanted, the kind gentleman gave me a recommendation and walked me through my order. He asked me how I was doing, and I explained the situation with my grandfather, he offered kind words of support and proceeded to finish his part of the order before I was moved down the counter. There I was greeted by very sweet Greek woman who overheard our conversation and she too, said very nice things. We continued chatting for a short while, and for a few short minutes, it completely took my mind off of what was going on. I got back to the hospital, and the food was fantastic. I had the beef gyro pita, my mother had the falafel wrap, and we shared a Greek salad. Not more needs to be said other than it was so delicious. I Will most certainly be back. I really appreciate the fantastic customer service and was delighted by the food. Five stars

Mmmm!!! Just delicious! We got falafel bowls and it was like a Shwarma in a bowl... tzatziki sauce and hummus...all the ingredients in the bowl! Yum yum!!

The people and the food here are amazing! Service is always entertaining and the staff knows what flavours blend flawlessly. I have dreams about their falafel - some places make oversized balls that are too dry or small portioned pucks - these guys hit that sweet spot in the middle and top it off with traditional toppings that are fresh, bright and zingy only adding to the full package. A messy eat that I will gladly do again!
