Pita Pit in Waitakere

Highly recommend. Outstanding service and wraps were on point. Though it was busy and the owner was on his own, he managed quite well. If your in the mall, stop in and try the coffees here. Better than most coffees in the mall in my opinion. I will be back again.

Received a salad missing most of the ingredients order and was just lettuce and carrot with chicken for $20. Called the store and lodged a complaint online neither of which got a response. Terrible all round, feel ripped off and taken advantage of

Paid $15 for a large salad and got half a bowl of food (if that- this has happened more than once here so thought I would review. Staff were friendly and was yummy.

Less chicken in the salad than I would have expected but very fresh and tasty.

Very dissapointed. On Thursday I placed a pickup Uber eats order. Walking to and from the restaurant takes 10 mins so I set off around the time the pick up order was due. When I arrived I was dismayed to discover my order had been forgotten and was not even being prepared, and would be another 15 mins! Bye lunch break. The man on duty apologized, but when I got the food the order was wrong. He had given me the wrong order. While I understand he was busy and alone, this is no excuse for wrong food. I think from now on I will pay the extra and have it delivered from Te atatu.

Love this place! Friendly, helpful staff; lovely fresh veges to make either a pita (with a gluten free optionor a salad.They take extra care for those sensitive to gluten. The sauces are all clearly labelled on the top, so the gf options (most of themare easy to pick. My fav gf is teriyaki chicken salad.

Not recommended for those with food allergies/sensitivitiesOrdered the black bean pita on a gluten free wrap. I was asked if the salads were okay for me to have as wheat had been best them which was okay.However I got home to eat the wrap & began to feel unwell. Searched the ingredients of the black bean patty and read it contained wheat & egg.Am dumbfounded that Id be asked about the proximity of wheat to the salads yet not be told the protein was loaded with wheat and egg.Will be unwell now for a few days now

First visit since lockdown. Usually enjoy my pit visits. But am finding out that home cooked is the best tasting but always nice to have someone else cook and prepare a meal for you. Thanks pita pit. This branch of Pita Pit is still one of the better branches out there! Keep up the good work.

I had a bowl. Would like to double more ingredients as I dont have lettuce or spinach but answer is usually no.

I didnt realize how bad this branch until I visited few other branches.  Just after 1800 almost nothing left in salad selection.  Just leftovers of everything.  Staff is working by herself running around like crazy ,sweating and only care to catch up with orders because people are waiting.  After paying for my salad I realized there were almost nothing to choose in the salad bar literally half of what I normally get was missing.  And you pay same price for that as everywhere else. Hello ive been to this shop and i ordered a bowl of salad, to my suprise it didint have enough ingredients and food in the bowl. They hardy used any vegetables, it was not filling at all. Not worth the money i paid for.the bowel should be full of salad not half!!!!

I was extremely surprised and happy after my visit to Pita Pit Lincoln Road.My son wanted to go there, I figured everything would be off-limits for me (Gluten free coeliacbut the young staff members were so helpful and friendly. I had a delicious Pita wrap, they handled allergies with real care and understanding. Well done, it was a rare treat for me to eat out with my son - cant wait for the next one at Pita Pit!

Always friendly service and cant got past the stone age steak. Swap out rasberry vinagerette as i like fat sauces better. Clean and tidy.

Ordered the Korean BBQ bowl from here through uber eats. Firstly why do you have to pay an extra $3 for the steak that is in the description of the dish? It is a rip off espically when you get only 10 small cubes of steak that didnt even taste like steak. It was mushy and gritty. Secondly my order was cold and the rice that was meant to be brown was white. Thirdly my broccoli was so raw i felt like i was a rabbit. very disappointed in my meal. paid $21 for this.

One of the best pitas I have had. Fresh ingredients, generous fillings and going that extra mile to provide that great experience to the customer.

Went to this store on 17/09/2020, I paid for my food but later on the lady in the store told my Co worker that I didnt pay for what I bought. But I actually paid for it and It didnt reflect in the store system. However I went back to show my bank transaction to show that I have paid for the pita but the lady was really rude and unfair to me that even after showing the transaction, she denied that I havent paid because it didnt reflect in the system. How am I held responsible for putting a false accusation on me for what I have not done. Worst customer service behaviour. Would never suggest anyone. I felt really embarrassed and bad in front of my colleague. Will never visit again. Would give 0 stars if possible. Really frustrating.

Love the food at Pita Pit and go to this store often. Always fresh and healthy. Being a coeliac I appreciate the extra effort they go to to make my food safe to eat. Staff are friendly too.

Its great fresh food, far better than any other store ive been into, dont quite understand people complaining about price or if its busy, not their fault. Also busy means good!!

Havent had a pita pit in a few years. Wow these are better than I ever remembered but that could be because its a different town/franchise. Fabulous food and really friendly service

Went into the Lincoln road store .....fantastic staff member working there .....loved the paper plate that the salad came in .......and the wooden fork and the paper straws for the smoothie ......only complaint....its the same price for a salad without any meat as a salad with meat ...... surely there should be a price difference........

Love pita pit, only 1 person running the shop so was really slow on service....but the guy did so well running it on his own like a boss !!! The man 👍

Soooo disappointing, love pita pit but first time going there, I got a chicken wrap came home to find out the chicken wasn’t even cooked ! Didn’t eat it called pita pit straight away, a man answered and said sorry and said to come in again,but I didn’t as we lived far from that pita pit.so we were passing the town so we went there the second time hoping that we would get a free meal or at least something, but nothing they didn’t even seem to care, we thought to give it a go the second time but nop the chicken was still under cookedjust so disappointed.

I am a massive Pit Pit fan, and usually this particular Pita Pit is really good. But tonight was way below par. We thought we might have ordered too much because we added wedges, but thank goodness we did. The pita was half the size a regular pita usually is! Unfortunately, the wedges lacked any crispiness whatsoever. They were more like baked potatoes. And all this 20 minutes later than when the online receipt said it would be ready.Im trying to get my family into Pita Pit and this did not at all help my cause. :-(

More staff required in the Lincoln Road store tonight. Very poor!! Walked out and went to Burger Fuel - a much better choice!!!!

I was a bit disappointed today spend $45 and couldn’t eat it once my husband found two live bugs crawling through his salad😢 put me off!Bit sad, the two boys working didn’t seem to know what they where doing. I love pita pit and sadly if I come back I hope it’s cleaner food and these two aren’t there!

Weve tried Pita Pits all over Auckland and this one is by far the best. Friendly staff, short waits, fuller pitas/salads, fresh ingredients.

Love their Pita Pits and the staff there! If you want the really healthy, delicious and cheap meal just go to the place!

I always come here! The product is really good but what makes me come back is the girls that work here !!! They have superb customer service skills and they are very very efficient and they remember my name and order!!!! They rock! We don’t normally see customer service like this so this is something to keep on coming here for :well done girls!

Great place to eat out & have food for people having dietary requirements which is the reason why I go here! Staff did so well on a busy day, friendly too, however a 25minutes waiting time for a meal is a bit too long for my liking.

Very friendly staff and quick to prepare my meal which turned out to be huge. I had chicken which was cooked perfectly and all the salads were fresh. All in all, delicious and well satisfied :)

Fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. Being able to have a gluten free pita is a godsend as not many takeaway options for me.

It you fancy a Pita, this is *the* branch to visit. My wife goes at least once a week... The staff are friendly and helpful. They are always generous with portions and they cater well to requests. The produce is always fresh, and they really know how to cook the proteins perfectly and toast the pita to perfection. If youve tried Pita Pit before and wasnt impressed, give these guys a go and see if they can change your mind!

Awesome service & friendly staffI was suppose to pick up my lunch but couldnt go so they arrange to deliver it to my work.

Really good. Nothing you wouldnt expect from a pita pit.Staff were really nice and got through order fast.Best thing I can say is if you wanna park there is some available behind the building down the side road.

Best one of these great franchises! The portions are bigger for an extra dollar or two which makes the ratio of brad to filling more diet friendly. The staff are friendly and efficient. My kids love it and I feel.goid about all the vegetables they eat ( and eat happily!!)

Lots of seating to dine in table set up of 4 so bigger groups will sit separately.Has a kids table in the corner where they could watch TV or Movie if its on.Store is Eco friendly with recycling bin.Parking is at the back and is very cramped so its not the best to manuvre in if its busy.3 other food outlets in same complex

Great example of a Pita Pit. Really friendly staff, good food, only let down is sometimes they run out of one or two ingredients (only because its reasonably popular).
