Such an amazing evening!! Really love this place,the music was wonderful!!!!!

Very busy on a wednesday night. Make sure you book or your wont get in and staff cant keep up.

First time last night with freinds for dinner and beers.....but it wont be the last time! Well done everyone for such a fantastic local place. All the best for continued success.

Real effort is out into the decor and it pays off, walking through the doors you feel immediately transported to a pirate ship. From the porthole Windows to the Naval flags hanging from the ceiling it really is a spectacle. But the best part about Pirate Bar is the fare, a plethora of rums and spirits to choose from, a selection of quality beers on tap, and the food is fantastic. Watch out for specials as well, definitely worth a visit.

The pirate bar is a bit of a hidden gem in Mount Hawthorn. Absolute great value for money and the perfect place to go if you want to chill out. Order a chicken Parmi that cost $22 and was huge! They also have a good selection of drinks available and show most live sport.

The aesthetics of the establishment are second to none. With a name such as Pirate Bar you expect a Pirate themed bar, and it does not disappoint. From the art and decor hanging off the walls to the rum behind the bar, it screams its name sake. To add to the atmosphere, the food was everything and more of what I expected. I will be going here again, that is for sure

Food is always great and delivers on what the menu says. Its not overly fancy but simple pub food with good prices and great selection of drinks.

3.5/5 hidden gem but prices are a bit high. Well set out bar with a big screen. Definitely worth popping in for a look at the least. Parking is good.

What a great excuse to dress up...or notThe atmosphere on a Thursday evening was very quite until we pirates rocked up for some grub.The menu was very limited and by 7:30pm some items were already sold out, including a bottle of wine on the menu.When trying out this venue your personality is required or it will just be an everyday pub with a limited menu and a few pirate items on display.Kid friendly place on the Thursday night not sure about the weekends though, they even have a pirate themed dress up box! The music selection for anyones choice and available on an ipad for your picking... We would of loved more than one pirate themed song.

The Asian salad was massive but the fish sauce in the dressing was way too overpowering.

Such a great surprise! I am impressed how clean and great atmosphere this pub has! Discovered this hidden gem a couple of weeks ago, had a few drinks with my partner and can’t wait to come back! Staff are supper friendly, great music on Sunday afternoon and food looks amazing!

Dr Linds Lemon Cure is a must try! I already loved this bar, but now they have served me a lemon meringue cocktail, I may never leave 😍

Awesome little bar.The staff are really friendly and attentive. The food is really good and well priced. They have happy hour everyday during the week and have something going on every night in the week and weekend.Really great place to visit.

I like their ambience and beer

It had great food and drinks. It was football night on a Friday but wasnt a roudy crowd. Would have been better with some music in the background while the game was playing as not much attention was on the footy. Did have friendly staff and good sized meals and tapas to share.

Great selection of craft beers and tasty food. Will be back for sure.

Spur of the moment to call in and have a bite to eat as I do not live near here. So glad I did, food was superb, staff friendly, atmosphere fantastic. 😁. Attached photos are of what we had for lunch,,calamari melted in your mouth and the tasting plate,,,, Yum

We hosted an event here. 2nd time for us.Great venue, great staff and food selection.The owners were super easy to deal with in the lead up to our event.Awesome bar with plenty of space.

Great pub with dining area, good beer selection and Nice little outdoor area for birthdays. Great for the kids with the pirate dress up box and the staff were very understanding and helpful with little kids running around. A bit of an overlooked gem.

Good spot for a few beers with mates if youre in the area. We tend to make it a local when were visiting, as several friends live in the area. Generally have several specials going and a good selection of beers on tap. The food is good, I have only had the chicken parma, burger and pizza but all were of a good pub quality.

It was a very enjoyable night with coworkers. Nice burgers and I enjoyed my vegetarian nachos as well. Chill and thoughtful service and good atmosphere at alfresco area. Will be a regular place for hanging out w friends.

I personally think that this place is great, although the venue can be cramped on a busy night its such a cool place with loads of things happening, good drinks at a good price and the meals have been tastey every time I have been. For sure worth a peep

This is a fabulous bar where the staff are always friendly and attentive. Food is always tasty and well priced. As for some of the low reviews I’ve read, the criticism is petty and unwarranted!

I admit to being a little biased since I perform here, but the food is pretty good and its a cosy place to hang out on a cold wet night! Also, they have an excellent Sea Shanty Singalong the fourth Tuesday of each month, lots of fun and plenty of songs for beginners to join in with :-)

Good neighbourhood bar, had never been here before and was pleasantly surprised.Only had a couple of drinks so cant comment on the food, but others seemed happy enough.Sport on the big screen and the ability to choose the bars music via Spotify

I was expecting more a themed place with a name like Pirate Bar.Parking was good and free.Good access for people with walking difficulties.Food was ok, but took a long time.Tables were strangely very low, when Ur 6.2" Tables were knee high. But also had stool tables but not suitable for some.

8 dollar Tiger pints, great value food. Great entertainment from live footy to bands, to stand up comedy. Friendly staff and a pirate dress up box our 4 year old loves.Been here half a dozen times, fast becoming our new local.

I have driven past this place many times since it open. I always thought it was a dive bar and it wouldnt last 2 years. I finally ventured here on Saturday for a quiet family meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout and fit-out. We all enjoyed our meals, which were not too expensive. It was exceptionally great to see a place in Perth with two happy hours on a Saturday (12:30pm - 1:30pm & 5:30pm - 6:30pm). The only reason I cant give this review a 5 star rating, is due to the price of beer in particular. A happy hour pint price is not $10, try $8 or less. There was also no option of a mid-strength beer on tap which is unusual. Also, a can of beer is not worth $10+!. It was good to see reasonable happy hour prices for selected cocktails at $10 and sparkling wine for $5. It was a shame about the price of beer, so it is for this reason (given it is a bar and not a restaurant), I had to deduct 2 whole stars purely on the price of beer. I will definitely come back for a meal and hope to see a revised beer price (both happy hour prices and normal pricesand an option for mid-strength beer on tap. Keep up the good work!!

Best bar in Perth. Staff are incredibly personable, and they do fun nights each week such as a quiz night and a games night. Family friendly, delicious food, function room for large gatherings, and quirky decor (check out their pirate ship shaped chandelier).

The food, service, beer is all great. Bomber (the owneris very personable as is his entire staff. Doesnt matter if its games night on Thursday, trivia on Wednesday or any big game showing on the projector; Pirate Bar is top notch!

Fantastic service from the team at Pirates, more than happy to help and give you an education on the wide range of craft beers they have which are also incredible. The food was great and came out in a timely manner and the fact they use crowdDJ to allow you to choose the tunes is awesome. Will definitely be back soon

Friendly, cosy atmosphere. Some tasty beverages, not dominated by the big alcohol companies. Food was good and came quickly. The courtyard was good for our toddler, but we needed to bring our own toys.

Very nice food. The Pirate plate which you would share is delicious. The low tables though are rather uncomfortable if like me you are above 6 feet tall.

First time here absolutely amazing atmosphere perfect for families, mates or couples, young guy serving us was amazing above and beyond for customer service. He actually chased after us to let us know that we can change our drinks if we cant drink it as my partner had left a cocktail without drinking it. 100% recommend you will not be disappointed

Great pizza, decent craft beer on tap, good craft beer bottle selection, friendly staff that seem to know their stuff, spacious and comfortable in one room, cosy and stylish lounge in the other with a well-kept, clean outdoor backyard. Cool decor. The only thing I dislike is how far it is from me!

I was lucky enough to present a Fringe World show at Pirate Bar in January 2016. The staff were fantastic to work with - the manager is really helpful and reliable. The venue is comfortable with good decor (not crossing over into tacky territory), and is well set-up for functions with access to a projector. The food is great (try the pizzaand the selection of beers and wines is good. Lovely service and clean lounge areas and bathrooms - and good on Pirate Bar for helping bring the Fringe out to the burbs!
