A key attraction in kurukshetra. This is a small zoo. Lion, leopard, hippo, crocodile are some major attractions here. Entry ticket is very cheap ₹10 per person. Students can get 50% off. Closing time is 6pm. A small cafeteria is also there for snacks. It is my second visit here. Birds section is completely gone. But you can spot peacock here.

Only problem is reaching here.. After highway is made and no u Turn given, we have to come wrong side to reach here.Very nice place for kids and family

It is good zoo. It has a parking available at outside and this zoo is on the main road of Delhi Ambala. It has hippopotamus, peacock, jackal, crocodile and many other animals and birds inside the zoo. Ticket is only 10 INR for adults and 5 INR for kids.

Very nice mini zoo. You will see hippo, ghariyal crocodile, lions , leopard , hyenas, peacock langurs , deers. You need 1 hour maximum to see all animals . Very good place in kurukshetra to visit with kids and adults.

Closed on every Monday, Ticket price only 10rs. No one checked tickets when we bought or even the number of people we entered, 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler parking available , toilets were okay , Water cooler available, there were hardly 12 animals there, out of which only we could see 6 because rest was maybe resting inside due to high temperature outside, its like a park hardly half hour to one hour maximum to pass out time here.

Very calm and peaceful environment.. glad to see Indian lion and leopard alongside the hyena jackle ghariyal crocodile hippopotamus black bug deer and many more wild life animals... i could also found a monitor lizard as well... very much happy to visit the MiNi ZoO in PIPALI..

This zoo is located near kurukshetra it is 1km from pipli bus stand / pipli Chauraha. This is mini zoo having bunch of animals and birds like Lion ,Leopard , hyena ,jackal ,alligator , crocodiles , hippopotamus, black buck , langoor , peahen , peacock. The entry fee is 10 ruppee, i suggest you in summer time try to reach before 12 as the temperature increases the animal moves in to there cages/ rooms. This place is awesome with lots for greenery also having a small shop for snacks colddrink , drinking water facility is available for free and washroom available.It nearly take 30-45 minutes to visit whole zoo.How to reach -: on Chandigarh Ambala highway nh44 it is on the starting point of the flyover from ambala side just depart at the flyover of pipli and on the side the zoo is located.The timing is till 5pm while monday is closed.You bring kids and family for small outing. For refreshment shop is avaialble and park is also well mainatained.If you visit kurukshetra add this also in your journey .

It is good place to visit for children , big park for walk and sit , clean place , staff is fully helpful, they put plate for reading animal species information but there was no dear and some other animals and birds shortage in zoo , no cafeteria sitting arrangements for peoples and foods like sandwiches,pasties and pastry was not fresh. It is a good place to visit with children if you are staying nearby. Although it is very small and can be seen in half an hour or one hour. You can consider it a picnic place. The animals are leopard, Lion, hyna, deer, Fox, Monkey, hippo. You can see few birds also.

first of all lion view is not good .... in comparison to this delhi zoo is best....other cages have no fun seeing ...

In this it is very unexplainable moment but i did not saw any animal because of the summer .......All the animals were took rest in their shelters...I only saw one monkey and one peacock

There is one lion and one lioness , 1 tiger, 4 crocodiles and few more species.It hardly take an hour for full visit.

very nice and entertaining place to hangout with kids and watch birds and animals. all information is there on display and nice sighting of animals and birds. place is situated on highway and near to pipli bus stand.its nice and cheap place to spend time on weekends as well as to teach Kids about animals and birds.ita a small zoo near the forests but its very nice to roam around in peace.

I dont think that animal has to be get in boundary... A bird which is in cage like live without wings,Humans are so cruel .. this is what we got in the present to rule on the world where no one live like free, no one is here independent..Birds which flies miles in the sky has capture in cage.This is not i think we dream about

I have been taking my kids to this zoo from past one year. Very small zoo, easily covered in 1hrs time. Clean, well maintained,nice greenery, animals were visible and well kept. Kids can play in the garden and sitting arrangements were made to have some snacks or ice cream from the government sponsored ice cream shop inside the zoo. Well covered with green trees on the pathway so one can come in the afternoon time during the spring season.

Amazing zoo and very good to visit for state peoples. not to large in place so anyone can hang in here in single day.
