Pioneer Tourist Park in Deniliquin

This Park has a lovely setting with a lake and walk through bushland. We recently stayed in a cabin overnight. The cabin was neat and clean with basic cooking facilities and crockery. It had clothing storage and reasonably comfortable bedding. However, anyone booking a cabin would be strongly advised to request a cabin back from the main road. Our cabin, as arranged, meant our heads were about 15 metres from the main road. There is no noise reducing fencing or even any noise absorbing vegetation.The noise from the road trains, and even 4 wheel drives, throughout the entire night, was horrendous, and neither of us slept at all - this includes my husband who is hearing impaired! Prospective guests should also be aware that private bathroom, whilst private for each cabin, actually consists of a separate building behind each cabin. The bathroom and toilet is accessed via a cement pathway from the cabin to the separate building. This is a challenge when freezing cold as it was the night we stayed - especially as we were on our way back from our holiday in Qld, and had light clothing and footwear only, with us. The microwave is mounted high on the wall and we had to use a chair to access it. Unfortunately, the night we stayed the mosquitos were also out in force and we spent the night before going to bed, killing all the mossies that had come in as we brought our things in from the car.

Sue n the staff are very friendly and enjoy a chin wag we only live an hr away and stay there every chance we get just to relax highly recommended the cabins are very clean n tidy

Great little park, level grassy drive through sites & clean amenities. Sue the owner & Les caretaker are both fabulous & friendly people. A very unique place to stop over for a night & lovely bush trail to billabongs. Pop in don’t drive past 😊

Would give 0 stars if I could. I had a booking for a cabin but when we arrived no one was at reception and phone number kept ringing and then failing. We had arrived from Brisbane with a newborn and 2 dogs and we were left desperately trying to find a place to let us stay the night. We did not find this place reliable at all.

Sue was a lovely host. She had no problem with us coming in late as we were travelling from another state. We had a dog-friendly cabin which was very clean and tidy. The grounds were also well kept. We would definitely go back again.

We had a great stay of 3 nights in a powered site. Large grassy drive through site. Les, the caretaker was very helpful; and Sue most welcoming. Lovely walks around 2 billabongs. One minute drive out of town. Clean amenities, good laundry and lovely showers. Anne and Vince

I gave it a 4 because of a barking dog owned by a permanent who goes to work before dawn every day. The park is excellent. It has a good feel about it. Easy access drive through sites, good ensuite and very cheap at$40 including the ensuite. Highly recommended.

Very well looked after, great place to relax to unwind, great walking track around property and just on edge of town to avoid the bustle.

Beautiful bush setting with drive through sites very neat and tidy short bike ride or drive to town.Very peaceful loved the fact we could take bush strolls and sit beside the dams.Pet friendly which worked for us.Lovely owners who were very accommodating.Highly recommend to anyone passing through or looking for a relaxing escape.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of good places to park. Sunday Easter firepit night was really great, lots of food, music, byo drinks, nice to mingle with others. They can keep providing this wonderful hosting atmosphere, and Ill be back!.

Very clean park with comfortable cabins. New management who are very friendly and helpful. Lovely large area of bush for a quiet walk, lawn for kids play and a clean pool. Even wildlife at the billabong and creek at the end of the property.Lots to do and see in Deniliquin also.

Quite, very friendly, amazing wild life, plenty of walking tracks. We have visited this park before and keep going back. Just love the place. Swimming pool is an added attraction. A new owner has just taken over so look forward to returning and seeing if any further attractions have been added

would definately be one of the nicest caravan parks we have ever stayed in, powered site with ensuite at a very reasonable price was a very pleasant surprise, and extremely polite and courteous hosts. we will return

Great place to visit

I stayed at this van park for 4 nights and was very impressed, the grounds and amenities are very clean, and the owners are nice and friendly, the only minor hiccup was that I only had very poor TV reception, but besides that, I had an enjoyable stay
