Pioneer Park - Park and Garden in Shafter, United States
I really enjoyed myself it was a beautiful day.
Kids had a great time on the workout equipment that they have at the park
A quite park and I hope remains that way.
Its a good park to have infield softball practice on, but too many holes in the ground and sketchy people wondering around.
Its a really nice park and has a soccer field right next to it for events for the family and friends, the only and big issue is the restrooms, there are welded shut! So that means your time being there will be cut short if you gotta go, I wish we the community vote for it to be restored or renovated,we pay all these taxes and Insane gas prices, thats what that money is supposed to be for, Ill give it a 5 star once that happens
I was there on Sunday July 3rd waiting for the water to turn on I was waiting for from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the water didnt turn on
My son’s soccer game
Love to run here
Very quiet secluded park near foothill highschool, this park has a sunken socker field perfect for soccer matches with hill side seating. Pioneer park is a family park surrounded by a quiet neighborhood, however at times late at night it can cater to homeless , shady people so use caution when visiting this park
Nice place to sit in the shade in a hot n sunny day
Surprisingly cleaner than I remember
My kids have fucn every time they go out to this place
Been the spot for years just need more lights for the kids on the court and soccer field need a little updating
Kinda barren. Not a lot going on. Water features are turned, and they seemed to be the main attraction, so now its empty and suspicious figure are always lurking, but thats just a normal Bakersfield thing.
Peaceful in the morning love to go there and blaze a fat Doobie s💨💨🔥🔥
So disappointedWe have lived in the neighborhood since 1996. So little improvement have been done to that parkThe water games and cement paths are nice but thats itWho ever uses the baseball field? Why dont you ask us what we want and needYou should plant more treesWe need more shaded areasPut up more tables and cooking grillsMore lightsMaybe even a little soccer field or mini golf or horseshoe area or something
Great place to cool off during a hot day
Its good for the toys and water park but scary with having your kid there cause the homeless...... not saying all homeless people are bad but my grandma live at the apartments right there and a homeless man hit her in the face
The splash park is open and during the day this park provides plenty of shade and nature.
I love this place because I can always come by and relive my past with some of the most happy memories as a young girl I had
Very relaxed and very welcoming, would 100 percent recommend to barbeque and play basketball, also in the summer time there is a small water park it really awesome.
I spend almost every Saturday here with my teenage son. Its a very clean park but they really need to upgrade bathrooms and have them unlocked during park hours of 6am-10pmevery day. Or at the very least have them unlocked and usable on the weekend cause the soccer and baseball teams use pioneer park on Saturday and many adults and kids walk to the restrooms (there are 4 doorsand all 4 are always locked. Come on people--BHC Work Crews clean park and empty all the trash cans all week long. Assign someone to unlock and lock restrooms please. Thanks,Jacqueline MONKEY
The trees were nice but the park itself wasnt well manicured. There were a few park benches picnic areas, that seemed okay.
Place has gone down hill the city only cares about the parks in good areas. This could still be a beautiful place but i wouldnt recommend going there especially at night!!!!!!
Really for the kids on these hot days because they feature a water fountain toy type play area where the kids can have fun cooling down.
Nice Dog Park seclusion and privacy family baseball field and very spacious for parties and events bbq pits.
I grew up near pioneer Park and hung out there alot. Its a nice kept park. Not to many people.
I love Pioneer Park, its not too big, and not too small, just right for a quick walk around, in a safe place, where your doggie can run and children are playing. Its cool to watch the older kids play basketball. You can even shoot some hoops yourself so bring your basketball.
The cashier would not help me with There own GD App. And even told me she didnt know how to use it. I was shocked. And did not honor my coupon after I shown it to her and asked her to help. Bad Bizz
it was really nice peaceful and the weather was great watching everybody have fun in the water area was funny yet it was nice however I had a really good time its really fun place especially for families however anybodys welcome
Kern County Animal Services was here this morning with there Mobile Clinic. I was very happy to get my male dog Jaxon his micro chip, rabbies shot, parvovirus shot, license tag & the voucher to get him neutered. Happy, happy responsible per owner here, because all that only cost $60. Sorry Jaxon, but the worst is yet to come, poor little guy.
Too many red ants and bees but the water park was fun, not enough shade
Its fun for children and the kids have alot of fun but the bathrooms arent the cleanest.
Excuse those who complain with petty excuses. It may have LITTLE MINOR things that are FIXABLE with in time. Im glad we have water parks cause now i dont spend money going to big water places cause honestly kids just want to get wet regaurdless where its at.
The past had been upgraded with sprayer and bathrooms cleaned from time to time but overall Park is kept up nicely
Would be a better park if they had more trees to have for some shade, and more places to be able to sit as well.
Bathrooms are in horrible condition, only one is unlocked when there Is 4? Other than that its a little run down but the new splash pad is a good addition for neighborhoodA whole lotta space for parties, not much seating though so bring your own chairs if you plan on going in summertime
Local neighbor park. Many memories and good times. Great for family gatherings. And conveniently located in la Colonia.
I love this park its changed from a rocket and a wheel that whent round and swings. To it is today its a special place for me$
It needs a fence around the basketball courts like Jefferson Park so the ball doesn’t roll in the street and nearly cause a car crash like my friend nearly did the other day, then it would be better by far, as of right now it looks really ghetto. The floor has spots with little grip, paint messed up, and some lights don’t work... NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE AT ALL but all it needs is new paint & a fence. Maybe new benches too but the playground is nice to my kids & baseball field looks good. Thank you guys & I hope these things get fixed because I want my park to be at it’s full potential so it’s way more popular.
Pretty good place to visit soccer field baseball field lots of shade basket ball courts water park and a play area for the kids and its usually pretty quiet and peacefulJust a nice place to spend the day
I took my kids there and the whole entire park was a disaster. There were homeless people asking me for money. I found a needle and the sand box. Ill never go back there again.
Not the best park but you know I have seen worse wouldnt hang out here at night ... But not bad during the day time nice green grass
Always great to play basketball
Absolutely loved this park felt like it was very well kept my kids loved playing here we were able to have a successful party while there were several other parties going on as well
Theres a softball field, not in its best shape but its good for learning and just have a field to play on. Has basketball courts, always people playing here. Has a water park for the kids. Theres a soccer field too.
Cool little park thats not very crowded one block from a store and has a cool little fountain park for the kids..
I went this water park its actually kind a fun so no payment Required they barely made it. 😊 I think is for any age
Lots of open space with a really nice splash pad. If you are driving through, its a fun place to stop and let the kids play.
Very nice clean park the kids can play with no having to worry about things there not supposed to see or be around
