Wir hatten einen tolles Menü heute Abend. Essen war sehr lecker und wunderschön angerichtet. Der Service war top. Sehr nettes Personal.

Super gott. Men levde ändå inte upp till förväntningarna med tanka på priset. Relativt små portioner . Trevlig men ny personal och ingen somelier på plats . Så lite svårt med bin rekomendationer

Great food, great staff.

Pios är ett av få ställen någonstans i Sverige egentligen som alltid bibehållt allt från mat, service, upplevelse och tradition genom att alltid ha haft superba kockar, verkar vara mer än selektiva när de väljer personal och vem kan missa deras otroliga plankstek? Ligger centralt men ändå isolerat från ljudet utanför. Solklar femma.

Rigtigt god mat, trevlig betjäning, men tog lite lång tid att få maten.

Maten smakade bra. Tog dock lång tid fastän vi förbeställt. Vi var ett sällskap på ca 20 personer.Hade varit intressant att se hur lång tid det tar om man inte förbeställer

Jag och min man var på Pio:s på alla hjärtans dag. Mycket trevligt bemötande av personalen som tog emot och serverade.Vi blev dock förvirrade över menyn (inte specialmenyn för dagen utan den ordinarie), vi brukar äta planka men denna stod inte med någonstans, i efterhand ser vi att den står med på menyn på deras hemsida. Efter att vi fått in vår mat ser vi flera plankor som både bärs ut och in från köket.Vi tog istället den grillade oxfilén, jag valde medium-well done och den blev perfekt!Men betyget dras ner på grund av att ingen av oss blev helt mätt och för det priset på en rätt anser iallafall vi att man ska känna att man inte kommer behöva äta mer under kvällen.Ett okej betyg i slutändan.

Trevligt bemötande, maten var till belåtenhet och servitören var grym.Vi behövde aldrig direkt vänta på maten eller känna oss bortglömda. Rekommenderas.

Trevlig miljö, trevlig personal, mkt god service. Förrätten fantastiskt god (rostad jordärtskocka, 5/5), varmrätt (kryddstarkt hälleflundramkt god men vissa delar av fisken "överstekt" (=torr (4/5, efterrätt x tre tryfflar ok (3/5). Nöjda efter en god middag, gärna igen.

På Pio skulle vi äntligen äta plankan som våra vänner tjatat om dess utsökthet, men potatisduchessen smakade knappt något, såsen bestod av en smaklös majjoröra samt det enda som var bra var kryddningen av köttet som dessutom var mört, men serverade av en minderårig servitris som påpekade detta flera gånger och hon gjorde det mycket bra i övrigt men mer än medelmåttigt kan inte betyget bli och dessutom kostar ju plankan av någon konstig anledningen 289 kr per person samt sen tillkommer ju vin på det!

Beautiful place with great food and awesome wait staff. Delicious meats cooked to perfection and delicious sides and dessert 🍰. Cant recommend enough.

Great place, lovely staff, food absolutely delicious!Chairs were terrible! To soft so we sat so uncomfortably and had to leave earlier than what we expected.

I have been coming to Halmstad for a while, and I love this restaurant, I have never been disappointed by the service, the food, the setting, it is just sublime, refined, the Scandinavian charm ... I recommend this restaurant, it has the coast and your best book to go there ... Bravo Tack so mycket

Great fish plank

Nice service and great food!

I went with a group of friends. We were 6 and the dishes we ordered were all tasty and well served. The service was great and the place had a nice vibe. One of my friends was allergic to milk and eggs and they modified the dish he asked for so he could enjoy the dinner. I suggest you make a reservation before because on weekdays can be surprisingly full. I totally recommend the place if you want to have dinner with friends or family.

Great location and well appointed restaurant.Limited menu but well balanced. The fish casserole was great, light and full of flavor. The steak plank was less than desired and came with a presentation of mashed potatoes that is double of a normal size portion.Pumpkin was in season and was neat to watch the chefs carve this massive one for one of the dishes.

Nice food and cosy. Not too pricey. Recommend for a night out with a date or friends! One vegan alternative among the main dishes. Good Irish Coffee :)

The staff welcomed us right away. We were two people as walk-ins with no table booking and it was full. Yet they immediately sat us at a table at the wine bar which had very comfy leather sofa seats.No sooner had we sat down than the drink-menus were served to us and the amicable waitress was ready to take our drinks order on this warm summers evening.The mains and the dessert were both par excellence; graciously served by the waiters with a short and pertinent description of the dishes set in front of us:- The white fish was light, fluffy and tasty with immersed creamy sauce and tender delicate oil to balance the flavors.- The smoky pesto potatoes and vibrant carrot moose were great companions to the main dish.- The colorful sorbet and cake danced together jovially in unison to the friendly tune played by the sweet berry gelo.What an enchanting musical experience for my palette !

Plankor - a signature dish on the menu. Exceptionally good.Cozy ambiance makes for a perfect sunday evening in winter.Will definately come back if I get a chance again.

Except maybe for slightly too small portions the visit was very appreciated. Service was good and pricing ok.

Really nice outdoor seating but plagued by flies during our visit. Food was made from really great quality ingredients but a bit too expensive.

If you go here you should definitely try their plankstek (grilled meat/fish on a wooden platter). We had the meat and fish. The meat was grilled nicely but was not that tender. The fish seemed fresh with shrimps and spinach, really good combination. The starters were ok, not worth the money. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was helpful and friendly. Ok with small kids.

This place is lovely, beautiful dining room with open fireplaces and comfortable leather arm chairs. The traditional "plankstek" is to be recommended, the fish was served with prawns and hollandaise and it was excellent. The service was uneven, the feeling was inexperienced but willing to learn and that is a plus.
