Pims Irish Pub - Irish pub in Puerto Varas, Chile
Coole Location
The food, the beer, the place was perfect, Im not giving five stars only because a waitress change the availability sign to "CLOSED" right in my face, however, I ignored her and I could enjoy the food which, again, was perfect! (Salmon a lo pobre)
I love Pims.. reminds me of home. Great bar food and awesome vibe. Good service, up in the patio. We are obsessed with their chicken wings, and fajitas and their 80s music video rock vibe!
Gringos not welcome. Say in there for 15 minutes and not once did a server even attempt to serve me. Made eye contact, waved them over…nothing. I just left. Happy to go somewhere I’m wanted.
Good food, large portions.
Very big apperol spritz and very tasty churasco italiano
Almost no choices of beer and you must eat to drink. No good small option for us, we left...
Slow atention, poorly service from the staff and careless about the time service, too much for like a fast food chain.
Cool, happening, spot with great upstairs terrace and something yummy for everyone in the family, from ice cream to espresso to creative cocktails and upscale bar food. Do busy though it was hard to get the servers attention and service was extremely slow.
Not bad...
It is very bad, I do not recommend it
Friendly staff, shows the footie (if thats your thing!)
Great bar, decent drinks. For an english speaker it played many hits from the 80s felt right at home. Did not try the food though.
Worst and slowest service ever
Food was meh the staff were ok. I got lost and found some Texans who helped me out. Cool guys they were pilots.
Average pub. Staffs were friendly and it was open on new years eve and new years day.
Service less friendly than in other places. Large room with an average atmosphere, a bit like a fast food chain. Hamburger with guacamole was big but had little taste to it, even the pieces of red onion. In contrast to other hamburgers we had in Chile where the meat is in the form of beef slices this was ground beef. It had pieces of fat in it. Restroom average in cleanliness.
Nice place. Good fotos and good live music
Awesome nachos
Very big hamburger.
Good burger but limited number of beer available (bottle or draftdespite the large choice on the drink menu. A bit disappointing for a pub.
An Irish pub without Guinness is whatever you want to call it but not an IRISH PUB! Please respect the shamrock! We came exclusively because it was written on the menu this delicate and wonderful creamy stout came from this beautiful country. The promise of this nectar was a trap! We ended up with a terrible artesanal beer like this word means its incredible. Trust me, it was just awful.Lets speak about the pizza... The mixed pizza... This name could be plenty of things but finishing with bamboo sticks from can, olives from can, tomatoes from can, etc, you understood the quality. And I wont tell the details of my next day intestinal transit.CHEERS
I enjoyed both the cafe side and bar side. Good eats for the immediate area.
Really good food and service, went there two evenings in a row during a trip.
Tasty food
Everything good, but the administrator was more interested in money than welcoming people
Great place
I liked it; for me its a 3.6 stars... All due to the fact that, for the prices they charge, they have plenty of room for improvement. For example, some bread for the wait of our food; upgrade your wine list, and make sure service is more aware of their tables... Sometimes coming back and asking "is everything OK with your meal?" makes a huge difference. In my case I asked for a medium-rare steak and got a well done steak... So, maybe I could have told them that if they had approached the table... But all they did was take the order, bring the food and the bill. No extra mile was walked.
Shan 80s music but food and beer ok
Great place to dine..
Pretty basic Irish kind of pub. Many items from the menu were not available, very limited vegetarian options, small toilets, and the prices are pretty high.
This place is great and the food is delicious. The personal is very professional
Good food and service.
Pub with local beers and a huge menu with tex-mex platters. Very casual place. Ordered chicken fajitas since they did not have vegetarian ones. Didnt like it, there wasnt any taste in the dish, could not eat the chicken and ended up having just vegetables in the tortilla. Food also seemed to be expensive for what it was. Tried cappuccino and that was at least average. The service was slow and food took a long time to come. The servers had limited English language skills. The place was so crowded and seating was so tight - tables placed so close together. Location was in the main square.
Way too expensive
You will probably not be shocked to hear that this place bears little resemblence to an actual Irish pub. Still, we enjoyed it. They have excellent beers from the local Chester brewery (you should go there too), and the glasses of house wine are good value. They had good live music on when we went in.
Very very expensive burrito, low quality. Good beer on tap.
Good beer, a little bit worn down but Great service and atmosphere.
Great pisco sour
Not fancy. Generous portions. Fresh ingredients. Good variety. Simple "diner" style decor.
Nice pub with good beer and pizza. There werent really any IPA type beers and the service was very slow, but we left content!
Dont order the chicken wings. You get 10 wings and they cost 12000 pesos
The attention was pretty poor, they were nice but didnt pay much attention. The toilette was a mess
Decent option for casual and cozy place for a few drinks with burgers, pizza, and similar offerings.
Great food. Delicious. Arrived very quick. Less than 20min. Service was fair. Good atmosphere. Music selection was also very good
Big handmade burgers. Good toppings. Would like to try other things on the menu.
Nice place to a happy hour, good food, prices are not cheap neither expensive. Service was not good at the time we where there.
Pretty ok
Nice Place!!
Service very slow and dessert with hot strawberry and ice cream was a mess but the the beef fillet was delicious and good value, worth the visit. Waitress was also very nice.
