Love the atmosphere. I recommend trying something from the handwritten specialty menu. The blended cocktails come with a spoon so you can eat them like ice cream, which I thought was fun.

This restaurant is a MUST!

Great place to hangout and eat

Loved the hostess, very friendly lady. The food wasn’t that great given it’s the priciest I’ve seen in Nicaragua. The setting with the pool and the ocean and the separate bar was great. Awful rum cocktails… again given the price, but dumped in a normal glass with crazy amount of mint leaves.

There is lots of love and attention put into the menu here. Quality ingredients, some of the freshiest fish I’ve ever had. Positive vibes and welcoming atmosphere.

Relax relax relax. Oceanside pool, great beach bar, beach volleyball court and a mix of gourmet dining and snacks. Cant go wrong with that!

Great location, theme and decor. Beautiful view of the beach and sunset. Food portions are generous and quality of the food is superb. The fish carpaccio was superior to most and delectable.The prices were relatively high and inadequate which is the only reason in my opinion loses a star; especially the breakfast menu. My comparison is based of my own travels to other similar and different countries and locations.

Can’t believe we get to eat such fresh, healthy and DELICIOUS food on a remote beach in Nicaragua. Breakfast, lunch, dinner - all amazing. Easily accommodates gluten free and vegetarian diets. Kiddos love it to. Thank you, Pili!!

Amazing spot right on the beach. Great selection of local fare. The Boss smoothie was everything I expected and of course Pili was absolutely charming and incredibly helpful. Ill definitely be back!

Amazing food and people. The best place in Nicaragua

Good place to eat and have some drinks. Only problem I saw is that there are too many kids playing in the pool. The customer service is very good but they should have an extra person helping the waiter on Sunday mornings.

Beach location perfect - 5 star but Acosted by security AFTER buying drinks no problem. Not clear it was private and it but was made clear that they didnt need any custom from outsiders ! Walked from aqua wellness on playa redonda ( equally nice establishment with intention of having some lunch . Shame as was recommended .

Great happy hour

Pili is a standout woman who has created an amazing restaurant with the best quality, nourishing and yummy food. She puts in so much love and energy in everything she does. We spent 7 days in Hacienda Iguana and frequented her restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were never disappointed. Everything fresh, organic, home grown veges, quality meats and freshly caught fish.The bruschetta, carpaccio, breakfast burrito, pancakes, Gallo Pinto, desserts, unbelievable. We can’t say enough good things about Pili and her restaurant.

Does not get any better for a young family and a Dad who thinks he’s a surfer. Pool, playground, gigantic pristine beach, food, drinks. Like any “club” you just have to know the right people or stay at the right resort nearby (or in the Iguana Community). We got lucky and stayed at a nearby resort that has a relationship with Pili. They are understandably protective of their gem and are tight about opening the doors.

It was an incredibly convoluted experience trying to reserve a seating at Pilis. Despite talking with the owners on the phone several times, as well as negotiating entry into the gated Hacienda Iguana community, we were told that we could not dine as Pili feared we would bring in surfers. We missed out on what looks to be delicious food from pictures; however, considering the many amazing food offerings in this country, Im more happy to support other local restaurants as opposed to this more oppressive, expatriate-golfer, and esoteric establishment. Im sure the bourgeoisie will enjoy, as I have more than a touch of "sour grapes," and no longer care to!

Exclusive - it should be very clear that this restaurant is intended ONLY for Iguana guests. After reading amazing reviews, we drove from Grenada for fish tacos on the beach. Unfortunately, we were told that we could not enter to eat, we could come back in 3 hours for dinner. Perhaps they were worried that wed mar their perfect beach view?

Truly great food. Beautiful ambience. Youre pool and beach side. For North Americans youre paying average prices but getting top quality experience.

Incredibly delicious! Everything was absolutely delicious and generous portions! Highly, highly recommend. Especially after a long day of surf and volleyball.

This place is beyond fabulous and if you dont try it you are totally missing out. The food is to die for and the vibe is amazing. I dream about coming here the 11 months of the year Im not here to enjoy it.
