Staff was really cool and the food was delicious

Was visiting a friend in R’Side and we came here for lunch. It was nice, semi-small, so not very loud. Good food, decent seized portions and not super expensive. The woman that helped us was so nice and patient because we took FOREVER to decide.

Sooo good!!! Every dish we ordered came with bread and a side salad and tasted amazing! Nice to find a good little pasta spot so close to home 😍😍😍

Ive eaten at this restaurant since I was 10 years old and Im now 63.... Its far from what it used to be and it used to be the greatest place to get pizza ever at least within you know 50 miles of riverside. But now that the food is gross. Its bland and just not what it used to be. I understand you know how chefs change and such but you know what youre supposed to stick to the recipe if you want to keep a great restaurant going and the chef fails because his food is gross compared to what it used to be. Compared to what made the restaurant its no longer that at all. Its bland and its I mean it used to be the greatest tasting Pizza you could find anywhere around and now its just like meh. I wont drive the hour to get there anymore because its not worth it anymore.

Love pietro food. It is so good love their sauce, it taste so Italian. Service is great. We try and eat there a couple times a month.price are good.

The wait time just to have someone hand me my food was a little impressive. The building was dead and it wasnt as if the staff were rushed.

Me my wife and kids love pietros. Pizza is fire, pasta is bomb, and the sandwich are top knotch.

Spent probably over $30. My pizza was burnt. I like a crispy pizza, but it was burnt and tasted burnt. Meatball sandwich had exactly 1 meatball sliced up. Mind you this is a $10 sandwich. It was burnt as well, could barely chew the bread. Will not being going back and will share my experience with family and friends.

Cute place to sit and have a pizza date. Highly recommend.

Great food Wow amazing pastas we had a group and no complaints on any dish. You must try amazing dishes and they did not take long on preparing the food.

Their pizza is really good, better than all of the big chains. It also keeps really well for leftovers.

Waitress are friendly inside. Sometimes business is rush so seating time are busy and wait time are longer so gotta call in to wait even phone sometimes busy. But when its not its actually nice.

I have been eating here since high school. About 30 years now. Food has always been good, services has always been good. If you haven’t been here yet you’re really missing out. Spaghetti and lasagna are excellent, the pizza is the best you will find in Riverside.

Saturday night Italian dinner, manicotti delish!! Side of meat balls delish!! Garlic cheese bread bomb!! Wife loved her meat lasagna, waitress good service with a Smile

Pietros is our go to for affordable and delicious Italian food. Theyre did us always delicious!

The pasta is not seasoned and definitely well overcooked; as though the pasta was cooked in unsalted water and left 5 minutes too long.Both the meat and marinara sauces are not seasoned and definitely not fresh. As though the sauces were made a week ago and nuked before plating. The sauces seemed to have coagulated and do not look appealing.The pesto pasta followed the same theme of missing flavor and overcooked pasta. The pesto itself actually had a better flavor profile than the marinara sauce.The included bread wasnt much to write home about. The side salads & Italian dressing were just "meh." We also ordered a tiramisu, but it doesnt look appetizing nor fresh.Will not be giving this place anymore business.

Food came out hot, fresh and delicious!!! The service was awesome and waitresses are good looking 👌 10 out of 10!!! Definitely will be going back.

Loooooove this place. My husband and I come here at minimum twice a month. We live the food and atmosphere. The wait staff is amazing.

Tried minestrone soup and it tasted like canned soup with added red beans. The small house salad was good but not worth it for the price. We ordered the calzone which it had a nice presentation, however the cheese tasted cheap as though it were bulk mozzarella from Walmart. The marinara sauce tasted very bland as if it was out of a can as well. They were late with our wine as though they were still chilling it. Considering all the Italian restaurants we have tried, we have never experienced this amount of acid immediately after eating. The service was good, except the music did not make us feel like we were in an Italian restaurant whatsoever. If youre looking for an affordable Italian restaurant this place is nice, but it does not seem to be authentic and it is not the highest quality you will find.

Great italian restaurant but would be a better experience if the servers had some sort of uniform. Girl wearing a metallica tshirt kinda ruins the Italian vibe.

They need to turn down the loud rock music and put on Italian music, and dim the lights like the old days, it used to be a real Traditional Italian restaurant it was always packed. Now it went south since the owner sold it 4 years ago. 😒

Great atmosphere and the staff are top notch. Great food hot and fresh and just as ordered. Very clean restaurant and fast service. Will definitely be going back.

Cool little restaurant that has been here forever. Excellent service and good food. I have had fettucine alfredo and a calzone here on different visits. Both were delish. The small calzone was big enough to feed my wife and I and taje some home too.

The place was a pleasant surprise. I didnt have any expectations when coming in. Way craving Italian food and this was a suggestion.Im happy I came here. The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was the only odd thing. They had classic rock playing but had the tv on also with the volume up so you couldnt listen to either. But besides that minor detail everything else was good.Will be coming back to try more of the food. I only had a spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and minestrone soup.

I lived in Riverside for 10 years before moving to OC and I still make it my mission to visit this place. Nice little place, one of the many hidden gems of Riverside! Highly recommended.

I used to love this place and sad to say it let us down. The chicken parmesan is just a Tyson chicken patty smothered in watered down v8 and the ravioli tasted like it sat in the freezer. The strawberries in the lemonade tasted old. Looks like this is my last trip here.

Best Italian restaurant. I had spaghetti with some meat and a sausage and it was so good try it for yourself!! Soo good cant wait to have it again 😁

I only gave this place five stars because I could not give it 10 stars everything we had was FANTASTIC and that is not an exaggeration, the service and our server was A++ Griselda was very attentive and answered every single one of our questions with expertise, I had angel hair pasta with meat sauce(FANTASTICI also had the Baked Meat Ravioli’s also Fantastic, my wife had meat Cannelloni it was great, my daughter had spinach and cheese tortellini‘s with shrimp those were also great, we also had the garlic cheesy bread the best I have ever tasted anywhere, so if you are within 50 miles of this location you should definitely stop in and check these folks out they definitely follow all of the Covid protocols.Eat local,spend local,shop local. And by the way all three of us adults went in and had all of that food and more and it was only $66 best value in town.

Do better Pietros. Use fresh ingredients whenever possible (or buy better canned ones), buy better bread. Make your food fresh and spend as much as possible on quality ingredients.What you are putting out now shows the least amount of effort, thoughtfulness or creativity.Do better.

So happy I came here, normally dont like to try new places due to being such a picky eater but again glad I came in. So the favorite here are their lunch specials which I must say are definitely generous meals. They have a spaghetti special which consists of spaghetti garlic bread and a salad. I always order this when I come with my bf. Love the waiters griselda and her sister. Their homade dressings are to die for 🤤! Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it was so nice. It had a comfy welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted really good. The service was excellent. I ordered the gluten free cilantro pesto pasta. Very tasty!

This place has such good food, and huge portions too. I got the eggplant parm sandwich and that was a feat to finish by myself. My friends got a custom pizza and a calzone and they had plenty left over. Definitely coming back again one of these days

The new owner definitely gave this place a much needed reboot and added flavor to the food. 🤤😋 Yes, outdoor seating is provided as well at take-out. Great place to share a meal with friends or family! Delicious food.

Delicious food for a great price compared to the competitors. Been going here with my wife for a little over a year now and we have never been disappointed. The waitresses are always so nice and helpful too. Good times

Ordered food through DoorDash and when it got here the tiramisu has mold on it!! No problems with the DoorDash service, but now I’m questioning if I’m going to eat the rest of the food I ordered because it may have mold as well. This is disgusting and I’ve never experienced anything like this. I thought I was ordering a nice meal, and for over $45 it should have been. I’ll never order or eat from here again! And neither should you.

Great pizza and calzones. Ask for extra meat on your antipasto salad, and theyll give you extra. Nice COVERED outdoor seating, so you dont have to worry about too much sun or wind.

Fast to seat, slow to serve. Our salads took well over 30 minutes to be served. Mind you there were only 4 other people in the place at the time. My wife ordered a calzone which shd said was ok. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce was rather bland and the meatballs werent flavorful at all. In summary the food wasnt worth the long wait at all. Almost 1 hour for mediocre food. Only Gordon Ramsay can save Pietros. We will not be coming back.

Like to come here. We typically get pizza, occasionally we get the spaghetti with meatballs. I have tried many things on the menu and I have never been disappointed.Pietros is a solid place for a nice meal with friends and/or family.

From the first moment you arrive in this restaurant the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very congenial hosts, it is a happy place to go out with friends or with your date. yummy meals, qualified chef de cuisine, decent price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

It is the best place for Italian food. My son ordered the combination pizza and he said "its the bomb". I ordered the artichoke and mushroom red sauce with linguine and it was SO good too. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. Overall, I highly recommend eating at this authentic Italian food restuarant.

Since i was a baby iv come here with my papa and grandma. My papa has since passed away and due to that we had to move to AZ due to financial reasons. But my husband and I have driven 6 hours to come here, even though its not the same without my papa the food hasnt changed, its still that same handmade delicious Italian food that i missed so much. Il keep coming back, to honor my papa and to enjoy the best meal we can have.
