Pierre - French restaurant in Hong Kong, China
Rate🍽🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Food was good but service was inconsistent.
For the price each course is very small. Cooking and flavours are as you would expect of a two Michelin star but nothing groundbreaking. Very good service.
Excellent cuisine and service, by far the best French Michelin star restaurant in Hong Kong.
amazing view and services but food was a bit disappointing. However, Pierre is currently on promotion and it costs half the price so that makes it worthy to go.
Excellent food. Delightful dining experience
Good choice of French cuisines in townWith nice sea view and professional servicesLove the bread and dessert
We had a memorable and special evening at Pierre : dinner was excellent and the restaurant overlooks the HK harbour. Laura was so wonderful and attentive, we’ve never received such service anywhere else! Highly recommended and we will be back!
As always, the food was excellent and the service was perfect. We always go there for special occasions and it never disappoints.
Expensive. Upscale. Small portions. Not so memorable.
Great view and food!
Great French restaurant with spectacular sea view and good service
Pierre is a French cuisine restaurant situated on the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong. It opened in October 2006 after a major renovation to the hotel and it is Pierre Gagnaire’s pied-á-terre in Hong Kong. It replaced Vongs, which replaced Pierrot, a classic French restaurant.
Simply amazing Michelin experience. Food was great, the service, the decor, the view, everything was perfect. And the dessert - a truffle log cake, was absolutely life-changing.They also gave us a complementary Lemon cake dessert, which was also very delicious. With the pleasant experience I had enjoyed here, I will definitely visit Pierre next time I come to Hong Kong.
An upscale French restaurant, atmosphere is fantastic. You get to see HK at night, that is a scene you wont forget.People are genuinely pleasant and attentive. So you do get a first class service, food is of a fine dining standard. You do pay for it though, so make sure you have the good credit card with you.
Fine dinning with spectacular sea view and good table service with professional suggestion for wines.
Nice food, nice view, good service
Still the best french restaurant in town!! Been my favourite one for a decade:love the food and drinks !!!
Exceptional fine dining experience. You will not be disappointed.
One of the best fine dining French cuisine in HK with attentive service.
Given the reputation, quality and seaview, the price of express lunch is quite reasonable. Dinner is also nice. One of the best (but not the bestFrench restaurants in town.
One of the best restaurant in Hong Kong, with one of the worse service, up to the point they ruin the experience. Serving hot dishes cold, forgetting to announce them. switching wine milésima for cheaper year without changing the price. Too bad they used to be amongst the best, they are just offering an idea of how the art could reach perfection. But so many mistakes at this level just makes the experience too bitter. Hope you get luckier than me.
Of the four Michelin starred restaurants within a stones throw of Chater Road, Central, Pierre Gagnaires on the top of the Mandarin hotel is my personal favorite - attentive service within an intimate ambience, with an ever changing menu. Tonight, they were able to offer a rare bottle of Trilogie to complement wonderful cuisine
Food was just ok.
A terrific dining experience thats worth every penny.
Pierre has been around for a decade and that says a lot in Hong Kong, where places tends to come and go. Pierre holds their quality and level of service very high. Its a journey for your tastebuds and it wont let you down. Probably amongst top three of Hong Kong dining experiences.
Amazing, best lunch ever had in Hong Kong. Service was excellent, food was up to Pierre Gagnaires reputation. I liked the Obsiblue Gambas best. Sago in coconut juice was heavenly. Fantastic mini baguette.
Exceptional food and friendly, professional staff, but the service wasnt as polished as youd expect for a Michelin 2 Star restaurant.
Very warm, friendly & professional service. The ingredients are fresh. The taste is rich & excellent.
Great view and great food- just as expected. The desert in the end was FABULOUS - my husband and I cannot eat milk and eggs in any form (so imagine that not many options are normally available for us for desert), but they managed to cook 6(!!!!deserts for us!
A two stars restaurant. Delicious food.
taste is on the light side, which is favorable to me. definitely worth a try
Hello,I went there for the birthday dinner of my beloved and cherished wife. She appreciate food and fine dining like me so I was thinking about trying Chez Pierre...Very disappointed by the food, everything was very very salty, we had to order 3 bottles of water to get rid of the taste in my mouth... Thats not what I am expecting from such pretended french cuisine standard...
Great French restaurant with nice wine list.
Express Lunch is worthy with good view!!!every dishes is good except the main dish pork which is a bit over cookedPuff pastry is yummy!!!
Excellent french food
Amazing French cuisine with a lovely view . Pierre never disappoints.
This place, I think is the best high end dining restaurant in HK. The food, its creativity and invention is the equal of something Heston Blumenthal might do. Ive never been disappointed by a meal here. Alongside this their service is fantastic. They now have a Sunday brunch. Expensive, but a real experience that is worth the price.
Great French restaurant
Very nice French cuisine
Finest brunch in Hong Kong, simply fantastic!
Good presentation & service but expect much tasty of a Michelin 2-star restaurant!
Spectacular restaurant. The staff made my wife and I feel like VIPs even as we split the appetizers and desserts. Each course was beautifully plated; service was spot on. The sommeliers pairing were perfect.
✍🏻️Pre-birthday lunch celebration to my dad. Truly enjoyed Chef Pierre Gagnaires Michelin 2 star creation! From the first canapé, beetroot carpaccio with oyster, then the lamb from Aveyron to the last mouthful of Pierre Gagnaires Autumn chocolate cake every mouthful had intensity. Truly spectacular!💰•••HK$760 pp•••
Good...
Terrific service and location, but quality of the seasonal menu lacks the consistency one would expect from a chef of his reputation. Sometimes sublime, other times quite average.
One of my favorite French restaurants in Hong Kong. It now has 2 Michelin stars (2016and an improvement from 1 Michelin star before. The cuisine is both traditional and molecular cuisine. One of the best dining experiences in Hong Kong. Lunch is a bargain, but only available on the weekdays
I can see why Pierre is deserving of 2 Michelin stars. The atmosphere is modern and elegant. The service was impeccable. Every dish was absolutely amazing. Dishes had a variety of very distinct flavours but they all came together in the most incredible way.
Nice view of the city with very good french cuisine
Excellent food, 4 course menu is more than enough
