Called to see how late they were open and if there was a line. After asking how late they were open, he answered "the same as everyone else in the state". Which idk what that means, since some places close at 10, 11, 12 and 2. Soooo yeah. Not going here, tonight.

Cozy. My favorite little bar in Grand Rapids. A great way to start a night out on the town with cheap pitchers. The weekend bartender is a hoot. Make sure to converse with all the regulars. They don’t bite. Cash only but there is an ATM.

First time here. Sat at the bar, great bartender. Small place, 49 capacity. No frills, no food, cash only. Oldest tavern in GR. Nothing fancy, but warm and welcoming.

Simple, quiet, great service and reasonably priced. Pick from a handful of taps and enjoy a conversation with no need to yell. The hipster foodie crowd can be seen just across the street if you miss their company.
