Pick 'n Save - Supermarket in Wauwatosa, United States
Unfortunately they did not have the one item I went in for - strawberries. They should have put a declaimer in the ad.
Deli workers are slow and have no knowledge of their department. Very limited amount of employees in general. At self checkout employee stands with his back towards the customers
They have roaches in aisle 8. unfortunately
Very nice, well stocked, nice employees, fair pricing
I go here all the time because its literally 2mins away from my house. Have never had a problem except for at the deli. First time i went there the older lady spoke to me. I asked her for a half pound of swiss. She proceeded to go into the back and got a big pre-sealed pre sliced pack of cheese out. Opened it and just pulled out however many slices weighed for half lb. I didnt say anything. I purposely avoid getting lunch meat from here but today i had to get American for my son. I asked for quarter lb. Same lady. I.pointed to the one i wanted. She seen that shed have to open a new brick of cheese. Again said hold on and went to the back. Came back with the same kinda packaged pre sliced cheese. I said excuse me why are you giving me that instead of this here. She says in a nasty tone " because its easier!!" I said oh ok forget it then. Luckily the store managers were right there and i asked them about it. They made her give me the cheese i asked for. Id still avoid the deli though if you can. Besides that specific worker the store is nice clean and friendly.
The two young ladies upfront were extremely helpful with all my questions. Christina and Erica are great. Sorry if the names are spelled wrong.
Staff IS VERY HELPFUL!!! STORE IS CLEAN! THE ITEMS I NEEDED TO PURCHASE, WERE ""ALL. IN!! STOCK. "" VERY NICE!!!!! ROCK
Been going here for over a decade and I always get poultry and meat here. Large parking area and widely accessible doors.
It was very clean, the staff were a helpful once I articulated my needs clearly and the ppl didnt stare at us like we were from another Planet.
What a great store. Customer service is always pleasant and helpful. Some times if I am waiting in line a worker will come over and take me to self checkout and do everything for me including bagging the items and putting them in my cart. One other think I like and that is oftentimes if you ask where something is they will take you right to it.
I was at the self checkout and the area manager, Vicky, was so kind and helpful. She taught me a few tricks to make the checkout easier, amazing customer service!
Id say about 80% of the time, this place is great. Good food thats fresh and enough staff to keep things moving. But theres 20% where they dont just slip, they fall off completely. Especially in the service aspect. If lines are reaching 7-8 people long, find more workers to man some registers for 15 minutes. Thats my only big issue with them. They struggle with rush hour.
The girl in the deli was HORRIBLE!!No smile, can I help you? thank you. It was as if I was bothering her to do her job! She should be stocking shelves or cart pick up - NOT working with people
Went into store on the evening of 12/24/20. No shopping carts available and the ones inside the store on the south entrance were locked up. Had to use one the smaller baskets. I was unable to get what i needed due to basket size and struggled carrying what i could fit into smaller basket. I suppose they were discouraging evening shoppers to get minimal items n get out of their store. Not a happy customer!
I do like going to this location because it is across from the post office. I do manage to find good bargains in the store. I do like using the self-scan checkouts. Ive had great customer service at this location.
Itβs a solid grocery store. Usually has everything I need and prices are good. They have tons of self check outs and few actual cashiers checking people out though
Clean store with extremely helpful staff and good prices.
The guy working register didnt even acknowledge my hello first off, I repeated my greeting only to be completely ignored again. He seemed more focused on getting rid of me then being polite or respectful. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Ive generally had good experiences at this location, but my most recent experience will question my return, or frequency of supporting this location. I know they prefer customers to use self checkout, and I dont mind since I prefer to take care of my transactions, but the self service attendant should be the companys ambassador, exhibiting a positive vibe and energy. The tall thin black girl in the self checkouts today was more interested in looking at her phone and just looking around the store than in being helpful and accommodating to customers. I was having some difficulty with my bags staying up in the bagging area since I had 5 packs of soda to place in that area along with my other grocery items. She continued to do her own thing and not be helpful, even though she wasnt assisting anyone. Ill probably head to the Metro Market on Capitol instead if I need to go to Pick N Save.
Stopped shopping at this location due to poor customer service, never enough check out lanes opened and always over charged on sale or digital coupons items. Made the mistake of shopping here on Saturday. Digital coupon on cereal and guess what..... charged wrong again. Will no longer shop at this store.
I get to the deli and no one greets me or acknowledges the line that has formed. I buy macaroni only to discover its inedible. I have never tasted something so disgusting in my life. I had to throw it away after the first bite.
Literally has one check out lane open every Saturday. Right now, I am standing behind three people with full grocery carts and a full grocery cart myself. HIRE MORE PEOPLE. SWEET CHRISTMAS.
This place is terrible. They have horrible customer service, only one lane ever opened because they want you to check your own groceries, and now they have added a $.50 cash back fee. The management is running that place into the ground. Sendiks might be a little more expensive but its looking more worth it every day.
Its always clean. Well stocked. Great variety and very well informed carrying team members. The hot food and selection from the take with or sit down counters is always great.
I always shop here, they have the best selection and highest quality
Very poor service. During the week there are no checkers. Weekend is no better. The checkers have become so lazy. By far the worst pick and save around. If I wanted to work as a checker then i would have put in my application. Do your job!!! Or your store will be closed before long. I am not going back to this one. Closest to my house but i would rather drive far. I been coming here for a long time.
I want to give a shout out to Ebony from Grocery. I spent a weekend back in June searching all over Milwaukee for a patio set that the Pick N Save/Metro Market stores were selling. I had driven from Shorewood to Brookfield and both stores were sold out. I found out that the Tosa store had one and I called right away on a Sunday morning. I was transferred to Ebony in Grocery. She was kind, efficient, and helpful. She put the set on hold for 2.5 hours until I could get there with a truck, and was at the front of the store to help me when I said Id be there. She had someone load it onto the cart and she wheeled it to check-out for me. She had me out of the door with my new 300 lb. patio set in less than 10 minutes! This was a special request, on a Sunday morning, and she did it with a smile. Her customer service made my day!! I hope her manager reads this to know what a superb employee he has in Ebony. Thank you!
Nice clean well kept store just slightly limited selection due to it being a little smaller then a lot of stores nowadays. But nice staff and organized
Edit: had been coming for the past couple of months but today completely changed my perspective. Most of the staff is great. See first review below (5/5). But today the self checkout woman was really rude. She grabbed my cleaning supplies on the bottom of my cart and scanned them in the middle of when I was scanning my other stuff as if I wasnβt going to pay for them or something. A simple reminder would have been nice. I had them separate because I didnβt want my cleaning supplies next to my food! And then she rudely explained how to remove my bags. I guess not shaving and wearing sweatpants makes me look like a street urchin to some people or something.Good selection and friendly staff. Not much else you can ask for from a grocery store. I havenβt had any of the problems that some of the other reviewers have had but will update if I do.
This was my first time going to tjis location and it was everything I expected.
Didnt have any 12 pack of individual Ritz crackers !! Otherwise my shopping experience was great !! Was surprised the store closed at 9:00. I usually shop at the PIck & Save on Hwy 100th and Cleveland !! The store I shopped at today has fresh as squeezed OJ though !! πππππ
One of the better pick and saves Clean nicely Organized and great selections just not very convenient to where I live
Great market, although not as nice as their Metro Market style stores. Theyre still in transition to Kroger so things keep moving around, but the staff is great and friendly. Kroger generic products are a step above what Roundys offered, so overall were glad its our neighborhood store.
Great selection and very clean. They have a nice salad bar at the front of the store that I was almost tempted to try. Plenty of self check stations and not too crowded.
Staff was helpful and they seem to have a lot in stock. There are other picking saves that dont seem to stock their items very often but this place seem to do so
The Heritage Farms packaged chicken breasts with rib meat tastes like cooked fish. Dont know why, its chicken, so what would make chicken taste like fish? I know its not spoiled, so, just a flat out waste of money for the chicken, but also a waste of money for the other food I prepared with the chicken. No issues with this specific store or location, just the product they provide.
This is a smaller Pick N Save but its a nice store that had everything we needed. I would definitely go back!
Produce is not full or fresh. Some employees seem to not want to be here and think doing their job is more important than getting out of the customers way(not what actually happened to me just what I watched happened even after the other customer said "excuse me" several times the employee refused to move or stop stocking). Do not open lanes early in the morning except express lane. Too bad.
The store is usually clean and well stocked. Service can be hit or miss. Most times people are friendly and helpful.
Told several ppl at the Wauwatosa location & for weeks spoiled meat sat out for consumers to buy...
Well laid out store with a great selection of items at affordable prices. The produce was all high quality and very fresh!
Love to shop here, closest large grocery store and reasonable.
Some good deals but I constantly have to watch expiration dates and prices. I end up at the customer service desk almost everytime I shop because of pricing errors. Reduced choices now because theyre adding more housewares and dont have enough space for all the groceries. Also means items moved around quite a bit which all result in a frustrating shopping experience!
The bagger we had yesterday failed to put everything in our cart after bagging. We did not notice any items left behind, so this tells me it was in a bag and just not put in our cart. Check to make sure everything is put in cart upon checkout!!! We will take our receipt back this week and explain, hopefully we will get our money back or the product. Also, the chicken breasts were buy 1 get 1 free and they charged for both - we had to bring it to the attention of the cashier. A few weeks ago they scanned one our pizzas twice, so we were overcharged. After we noticed this at home we had to go back to the store. They did refund our money. Check your cart and check to make sure that you are being charged the correct prices!!
This used to be my go-to grocery store but lately it has left something to be desired. I went yesterday and waited at the deli for about 20 minutes for someone to help me. There was only one staff member working. Also half of the deli had already closed at 5 at night. No produce looked poor and it seemed overpriced. I think I will go to a different grocery store next time
Twice I have gone to the bakery and theyre always dumfounded like its their first day on the job?!π’ However I do like the store and its usually well stocked, clean and I come for the flowers!ππ
This location is one thats undergoing minor remodels. But their produce section is still abysmal and unless the chain as a whole lowers its prices overall they will never be competitive with new stores coming into the area. Im still perplexed why they would choose to cover the entire deli counter window with local wisconsin stickers so you cant see what deli meats and cheeses they have available. The employees here still act annoyed when you ask them for assistance. I only go here in "emergencies."
Customer service is great. The store is always clean. Prices are gradually getting better since Kroger bought Roundy; more like Frys food stores in Phoenix. All they need now is senior discount day. Ive been looking for an alternative for Piggy Wiggly in West Allis, I may have found it.
3rd time in less than a MONTH that my wife or myself found EXPIRED BABY FOOD on the shelf, not just a week or two past expiration but months. The most recent time (this past Sunday 3/26)my wife brought the expired product up to the service desk (expired on 11/2016letting the clerk know and she shrugged, roller her eyes and threw it away, clearly annoyed with my wife for bringing it to her attention. We usually find organic whole milk to be out of stock or low in supply as well as other staples that youd think would/could be better managed. Since moving to the neighborhood our allegiance to the P&S chain has dwindled and we prefer to travel further and even spend more money at Target or Sendicks in Elm Grove.
I work here, so i see what goes on inside. The people i work with are very nice, the managment care whats best for the customer, and the store is very clean. The bakery is so fresh, the meat and deli are very clean, and friendly. The only thing i can say is i wish they had more front end workers. Overall the best ran store in the area. I highly reccomend this store.
