Great place! I booked Pic River guest house for 3 days. It was very beautiful, clean and comfortable, like a real home. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walk to pic River, 7 minutes drive to Pukaskwa National Park, the little town is very quiet and people are friendly. Bonnie is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
Jai adoré! Lendroit fait très cozy et campagnard on se sent réellement en vacances. Lun de mes endroits préférés de mon voyage vers Thunder bay. La vue sur la rivière Pic est sublime.
Stayed for a month for work it was clean and comfortable, loved it
Beautiful place with view of the Pic River. Private, quiet, and close to Pukaskwa Park. Enjoyed our stay here, and hope to come back!
We were looking for somewhere to stop that wasn’t a motel and this place was an absolute dream! Bonnie was accommodating to our last minute reservations and a great host overall. I can honestly say I’ve never stayed anywhere as secluded in pure nature like this. The moment we drove into the area people were smiling and waving and kind to us. Even our cat, who travelled with us, seemed to perk up, looking out the window, watching chipmunks and birds. I would definitely love to go back here again and maybe this time go on a hiking tour with Bonnie. Cannot recommend this stay enough.
Tres belle place! Beaucoup mieux que toute les hotels dans la ville de Marathon.
We arrived late, the room was clean and comfortable. Left early but stayed till sun up to see the surroundings, so beautiful. Thank you Bonnie for a lovely stay.
Staying here was awesome and heavenly. We spent 5 days here with our 9 year old. We used Bonnies and Gourds guide service for hiking, fishing and canoeing. I highly recommended them. Bonnie is a gifted naturalist and an amazing teacher and Guord is an amazing paddler and fishing guide. One of my best vacation experience. Plus the rooms were clean, quite and the views priceless. If you are looking to get away from busy crowded cities -- this would be one option and the cost is super reasonable for a family vacation.
This place is just beautiful. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights during our road trip to Thunder Bay, and it was by far the nicest place we stayed. The suite is cozy and homey and there are plenty of amenities (Netflix, heating, kitchenette, fridge, coffee maker, etc.). There’s even a porch swing that gives a beautiful view of the misty river. An incredibly peaceful stay. Thank you Bonnie!
Its good to know about were all the information about land interesting
The suite itself is on the river at the far end of the Pic River reserve, the host has set up a swing facing the river just outside your door, as well as a seating circle surrounding a fire pit. There are two large rooms, the main of which has a decorative fireplace and a TV hooked up to Netflix, which is a miracle in itself considering the rural location.I loved the suite, but the host brings the place up to 5 stars, Bonnie was kind, friendly and over the top accommodating, top rate.
Stayed prior to hiking Pukaskwa trail for a week. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. We were very lucky to get a reservation on such a short notice. Thankful we did as we had an early charter to catch. I would highly recommend a stay at the Pic River Guest Suite.
Comunity of native...nice people and friendly :)
Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchenette. Only place close to the park.
Great lower level walk-out apartment with two beds and incredibly well equipped kitchenette. 5 mins drive from Pukaskwa National Park.
A great little place, very clean and close to pic river and the national park. I would recommend it over any place in Marathon.
Bonnie was fantastic to deal with and the apartment was super comfortable. Not to mention there was a great view of the river and its super close yo the unbelievable Pukaskawa National Park.
