Casual, upmarket nook with outdoor tables turning out Italian fare & unique charcoal-infused pizza.
Really lovely atmosphere, cute place with friendly staff. The food was beautiful, big portions and they have a good happy hour deal on cocktails. For me and my partner the flavourings were off. The black garlic bread was very salty and our mains (both pastawere disappointingly bland. It wasnt bad but a let down considering how nice everything else was and the price, so unfortunately we wont be going back for dinner.
A cosy and rustic restaurant serving some of the best Italian food Ive had in the UK. Would highly recommend!
From the cosy rustic layout to the relaxed atmosphere, helpful service & food with unique twists, this spot is a real gem in a busy location. They run a good offer on cocktails too which are absolute killer - full marks!
Literally one of the best Italian places in London!
I used to go here often, when I lived in the area, as the food was very good. Today I spent lots of time to get here and it was closed at 11:05 even if they say they open at 11:00. There was someone inside that saw us but didnt bother at all to at least say something, let alone to prepare for opening, and they were far from being ready to open.
Very good food here! Nice place.
Small local Italian. Charcoal pizzas, artichokes, a bit different from the usual fare. Worth a visit.
Food is exceptional. Very cosy, great atmosphere. Not the biggest place in the world, but that doesnt matter as the quality speaks itself. Waiters also very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.
Superb little restaurant!Care and attention given to each dish to make it taste fantastic. Presentation and service with a smile from a friendly accented Italian chap who loves his job gives this place a real charm. 100% returning! Slightly more expensive than the general area but well worth the treat!
Delicious food, Nice and tiny place. Tuna was a bit too salty though. Very friendly and caring personnel.
Black sourdough pizza. First time trying. Was very flavourful
The staff were really friendly. The food was excellent. By far, the best pizza in London!
Wine, service and atmosphere were great. I really wanted to like the food too, but unfortunately my husband and I were quite disappointed by it. I had the clam pasta which was watery, and the spaghetti itself very dull. He had the chili pork which just tasted salty, and was drowned in an uninspiring gravy. The "garlic bread" turned out to be pizza dough with (garlicycheese on top. The panna cotta had little taste too.. But the orange cheesecake was tasty! Maybe we were unlucky with our choices. Hope this is helpful somehow.
Lovely experience, the service was was very good and food absolutely delicious. I felt I was in a very fancy restaurant, the muzarella dish was perfect as a starter, a lot of different flavours in the same plate. The pizza with the charcoal dough was so tasty as well. I look forward to go back and try the other thing in the menu.
Chanced upon this fine restaurant on Saturday evening. Some of the finest food Ive had in London, and certainly the best Italian. Thanks very much!
Had a fantastic meal here with friends. Food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive. Definitely going back here again.
Great food, great service, well priced! Lovely little Italian place. Be warned, it really is a small restaurant.
Excellent quality
Couldn’t recommend more highly - delicious food, great cocktails and wine and really friendly staff. They put a lot of thought and effort into everything they do. Great addition to Battersea.
One of my new favourite restaurants. The food is sublime, they have very well sourced ingredients and the staff are friendly. I particularly enjoy their charcoal pizzas and anything they do involving chicory. They have a good wine selection and a knowledgeable gentleman behind the bar who had a nice chat with my boyfriend about whiskey.I recommend Piatto to all of my friends visiting London.
Tiny and cute, very friendly staff, we had toast with avocado and poached eggs only and coffee but it was tasty, high quality and a generous portion. We’re definitely planning to come back for a proper meal here!
Small cute and warm place with very tasty food! I am not very familiar with the Italian cuisine but it felt original. Charcoal pizza is a must to try!
Impeccable breakfast and very tasty food at dinner. Best bread ever, we love this place. The staff is very friendly and nice. We also like the peaceful atmosphere. We highly recommend Piatto.
Piatto is absolutely my favourite restaurant in London!!! Great food, food value and staff is very friendly.Amazing PACCHERI 😍
A must visit, lovely, relaxed restaurant serving premium quality food at very reasonable prices! Most generous antipasti Ive had, honey truffle dressing was delicious!Pizza ingredients were extremely fresh and generous veal main was perfectly cooked.Service was very friendly and attentive.
The best breakfast I had in a long time... Im definitely coming again!
For the second time I had dinner in this little Italian restaurant, a little treasure hidden in Battersea. Loved the "black" pizza and the desserts, Staff friendly and professional. Highly recommended if youre looking for good Italian food but different and bit untraditional at the same time.
Cannot recommend this place enough! What a gem in Battersea. The food was extraordinarily fresh, with most of the ingredients coming from Italy. The chef even offered for us to try out the new "tasting menu" which he hadnt featured previously. Everything was incredible and so affordable for the quality, they really spoiled us. Hear they do all you can eat pizza made with charcoal-infused dough, so pretty excited to come back. Worth a visit!
Food was above average. Service was hit or miss - one person was very friendly; another acted as if we were an inconvenience; overall below the level I have come to expect in London. If youre taking advantage of any of their special offers, check T&Cs carefully.
Wow, delicious food, how unusual to have your expectations exceeded these days. Beautiful vegan salad, and delicious pizza with a base you have to try. It is amazing and very delicious. Go there asap thalast bit is my 12 year old review!
Really great food, good service and nice decorated dishes. I wasn’t expecting to find that good, fresh and tasty Italian food in London. The place is charming as well. Definitely to recommend!!!
Great find, food is not only fresh and delicious but presented in a really creative way. Owners are lovely to boot. Will most def be going back again!
Am amazing little gem in south London.Don’t think of classic Italian place, Piatto is more of a boutique restaurant that offers a unique experience. For the best food always follow the advices of the staff and go for the specials - a must!Great place for brunch, lunch and dinner, it’s just got a touch that you can’t find elsewhere.By far my favourite Italian in London. Highly recommended!
It became easily my favourite place to go in London. I’ve been many times already (lucky me I live near byand each time it’s a surprise... the dishes are phenomenal, really high level (Chelsea / Mayfair look but with the real southern Italy tasteand the staff is so friendly that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere of this little boutique restaurant is cozy and relaxing, very homey... I just can’t wait to go back again :)
Amazing place and really great people!! Crazy Chef surprise us with tipical spaghetti with fish! Fantastic food and a kind Staff !! We will return for sure !! ABSOLUTLY RECOMMENDED
Today its hard to find a place like this in a city loke London, where everybody is in a rush, however, they got it. They love to deal with people, its obvious. For me, Piatto, has become a must in London. Super nice staff, tasty food and affordable price. You will see me there often.
Great place for drinking, but the menu seems better in the morning and the food is not tasty at all! Expensive round! Had two meals ordered and refuse to pay for second, because it tasted bad again. Going to an english pub, where carbs are the same and food better.
Lovely local italian cafe run by two charming brothers (I think!). Food is delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Am looking forward to going back to try their charcoal pizzas. Definitely recommend their brunch.
Great food! Great people! Great atmosphere. It is a place to go if you would like to try Real Italian food! Fantastic .
Great little resto in Battersea. Have only had the pizza but it was one of the best Ive ever had. Great quality ingredients, innovative spin on traditional food, friendly and attentive staff. Keep up the good work Piatto!
Lovely dinner at Piatto. This is a cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of Battersea. Service was very good with friendly and attentive staff. Food was very good too. Fresh burrata and a delicious bruschetta with caponata followed by their signature charcoal infused pizza. It takes a minute to realise the dough is not burnt but actually black! This is a Sicilian pizza, not Napolitan! Flavour is of a sourdough pizza. Cool idea but it doesnt make the pizza any better and surely not worth the additional money. The italian artisan beer selection is a nice surprise. We tried an artichoke and rosemary beer and was quite good. This place is a bit more expensive than your typical pizzeria but go try for yourself as it still has a lovely atmosphere, good good and service and is perfect for a date.
Piatto has a warm and friendly atmosphere the food is amazing the chef Vincent puts all his love into the food. Pizza. is out of this world salmon is divine. Tim, Mark and Simon are all very friendly and offer exceptional customer service
I discovered Piatto by chance the opening day. I live in Sydenham but I have some freinds who live in Battersea, and 2 weeks ago when I was to them, we went there again. The place is really nice and cosy and the team is freandly. Weve tried and shared most of the dishes in the menu and all of them were excellent, Italian style with a dush of international. Wines list with good value for money wines. I highly racommend the place. Because Piatto is a small reastaurant it would be better book a table.
Great coffee, delicious food (have only been for breakfast but the pastries and avocado on toast are amazing!and very friendly staff! And all reasonably priced - definitely worth a visit if you live in Battersea!
Just incredible! Amazing staff and beautiful food!
Love this place! I went once for breakfast, which was absolutely amazing (They have a little deli upstairs as well with like panini’s and pastries, and they do lots of take away food as well). Yesterday we went with a group for dinner, couldn’t have been be happier. We had some starters and a pizza to share and as a main I had the salmon. Best. Salmon. I. Have. Had. In. Years. Cocktails and desserts were also really good. Can’t recommend this place enough!!
We went for dinner last night and we had the best meal ever. The staff was lovely and they have a very good wine selection. Every dish that we have ordered was a masterpiece. The new owner have done a really nice job transforming the restaurant. I would recommend Piatto to everybody and I’ll definitely visit them again.
I already love this place! Food is excellent for tasting and presentation. Service is also perfect with a very attentive and friendly staff. We will definitely come back shortly.
Cute new place. Still as cosy as the old oneService was lovely and the food was nice. Had tortellini with ricotta cheese and prawn. The saffron mashed potatoes was quirky... Nutella cheesecake for dessert was yum
What an amazing surprise! We went for brunch and their eggs were beautifully presented and tasted deliciously. We will go there again for dinner
