Large spiritual park with an imposing Buddha statue, picnic areas, jogging & cycling paths.
Nice park , but few bicycle riders in pelotons using it as a practice track which is not right , they shouldnt be there if not maintaining safe speed limit.
Peaceful and large park, you will meet turtles, fish, varans, birds there. No entrance fee, have a few cafes
Beautiful place, nice and peace 🕊️
Beautiful park on the outskirts of Bangkok. Suitable for family activities.
Greenery, nice place for running
Great public park/ space for all generations ! Walking for wellness in the shade mostly, running for strength & fitness, quiet for meditation 🧘♀️ 🧘♂️, children may enjoy feeding the many turtles 🐢, also the fish are quite hungry please feed them too !!! This park is a benevolent gift, many locals like Sis Siriwan come many times per week
Walking meditation leads to Enlightenment.
Very nice and well maintained park loved it
Very Good place for Cycling
Nice place for the weekend.
Excellent huge park near Bangkok. Quiet and peaceful place for recreations, exercises, relaxes, and respectful.Great place for kids, cycling, skating, running and playing any sports. In Buddhism events, here is the center for respect Buddha.Sunset view is impression. Beautiful vanilla sky behind the Great walking Buddha statue is so unique.Highly recommend for family activities.
Stop allowing cars under the guise of covid (despite the fact that makes zero sense)
One of the best parks around Bangkok and vicinity. You can enjoy walking, running and biking here throughout the day, but better in the early morning or late evening as the temperature is more pleasing then. The most inner loop is easy enough for a good walk and to respect to the big Buddha statue in the center of the park. With a bike, you can roam around the winding roads for 20+ kilometers. Or you can bike around the park on very good paved road for 10 kilometers under shade.By the way, there are plenty of good food nearby the park too. That will make the perfect ending for your visit.
great place to bring your dog and do a bit of jogging
40 min from Bangkok (Thonburi Side)Large field area, great scenery, lots of trees and pond, a great way to spend your weekend without going to shopping mall.
The park overall asthetic is great. Lots and lots of trees which provide many great strolling spot and keep the visitor from being too hot. I especially like how they have turtles in the pawn. Great place to go if you want to take nice photo of natural scene or old asthetic building and religious sculture. The park has a very peaceful feeling to it. Great for afternoon naps, except for when there are events or some kind of religious affair, it can be quite loud and packed in the park during those times. The park has a nice long road so its perfect for a jog or bike riding.
This Its a very good place to exercise, whether its jogging, running, yoga, etc. Even though its more crowded than other places, the airiness and wideness dont make you feel stuffy. In addition, the congee sold inside in the morning is very delicious. Most people will come in large groups to exercise. Some groups came with their families. various relaxation
After 2 years COVID seem less maintenance.anyway still good for running.
🙏
Another beautiful grand temple surrounded by a luscious park.
Best for early morning cycling
Nice public park with all surrounding so big area. Good place for picnic with all your family.
Very peaceful place. You could spend a few hours here. Probably on the way to the Rose Garden or Ksnchanaburi.
Very well maintained park
A brilliant park to cycle with plenty of shade. Ideal for picnics and relaxing. Places to buy food and snacks. Easy to get here from the center of Bangkok, around 40-50 minutes. And you feel a million miles away from the big city. Great for the kids to exercise, feed the fish, turtles and check out the dogs, on Dog Island.
Nice park for cycling and running.
Great atmosphere w fresh air.Relax n mindful😌
Pet friendly🐶!!! This is a Buddhist park have a nearly 16metres tall Buddhist statue and 2500 rai (400 hectaresof lakes, gardens, jungle paths etc.Designed by Italian artist Silpa Bhirasri.A great place to exercise, relax and meditation. Also there’s a stray dog shelter, but the park is too big so I didnt meet it. In my opinion , if you take your dog there, better dont get too close to the shelter, stray dogs will behave to protect the place, this is their natural. It’s unnecessary get in trouble.I’m really happy have this fantastic park like forest can walk dogs, of course we should make sure keep our puppies under control at all times, well-trained and always leash on, then we can keep this Shangri-la for our furfur 🐶
The place is good for relaxation. You can jog, have a picnic and ride a bike.
very nice park. it would be my choice for my daily run if I lived nearer to it
completely empty, very peaceful
Some points of entrance and internal roads are blocked to control traffic flow due to COVID-19 … which was confusing. It’s a big old green space … but I just wish there are more big trees providing more shades instead of nicely mowed lawn on a sunny day.

Another perfect place to stroll , jog, picnic and bike 🍃🌳🌞
Very beautiful, clean and large park. Beautifully maintained and well manicured. The Buddha statue at the centre is so big and so huge, it may the largest standing Buddha idol.We spent around 2 hours going around and while ambience was so lovely, calm and Serene, it seems that the Buddha idol has an aura, and soothing effect All around it.There were hardly any people around and we could enjoy the park, going up on podium, taking picture from many angles all by ourselves.
Forest closet to the city
Phutthamonthon Park is a perfect place to stroll, jog, run or ride a bike. In winter, the weather is really good for running. You should be aware of a lot of monitor lizards in this area. Youll find the Buddha statue at the center of this pack. It has nice scenery to take a picture with a statue of Buddha.
Two words - Nature, & Peace.
Nice big park, this days it is Sunflower in bloom.Good for a walk and picture taken place.Good for a day out in the sun. This will take max 2 HR
Phutthamonthon is a place for devout Buddhists. There is so much to see, and if you happen to be at Mahidol University, you should cross the Borromratchachonnai road to this place. It’s massive and it models the 4 events of Buddha. The Nation Buddhism place is also there. Try to go. It commemorates the 2500 years of Buddhism. There’re also 2500 statues and 2500 rai is the area. (2kmx2km)
a lovely place to take a long walk and jog around. there are small bout of 500m, 2.5km and longer, check the map first.
Beautiful gardens. Great place to take a stroll in the afternoon and meditate under a tree or pavilion.
Currently still one of the best places to visit even during COVID conditions. Most of the park is closed to vehicles, but a large carpark section is still open. You can still walk/jog/cycle around the entire park, but youll have to make a lengthy journey back to the single parking area thats open. Few people visit, so easy to avoid crowds.
Very nice and peaceful place for get together
Lots of trees...we enjoyed riding bicycle
Nice and clean park, recommend for outdoor work out.
Its a public religious park. People come to attain buddhist activities. Furthermore, people come to jogging, running, and cycling in the morning and evening. There some small shops to buy snack and soft drink.
This is the central park of Buddhism in Thailand. The park was planned and built to celebrate the half Buddha period (2500 years). The center of this park is the Buddha statue with walking down posture or Pang Lela (ปางลีลา). The statue was designed by Prof. Silapa Peerasri.
Its a good place to go relaxing and enjoy the nature of the big area park, pounds and trees. If you have a family, here is a great place really for the picnic, too.
One of the biggest parks in the world. Greart nature and mostly quiet exept a voice over loud speakers in a main place. I just dislike half owned dogs (not shelter onesthat are dangerous to skaet boarders/ roller bladers, runners. They got used to bicycles already- it seams. Otherwise genuine 5 * place :)
