อุทยานภูสอยดาวความสูง 1,600 เมตร เป็นจุดกางเต็นท์ 2,000 เมตรเป็นยอดภู ต้องติดต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ถึงจะขึ้นได้ปกติหน้าฝนจะห้ามขึ้น ต้องจองผ่านออนไลน์มาก่อนนะครับ สามารถเช่าอุปกรณ์ต่างๆได้ สั่งหมูกะทะขึ้นไปกินได้ครับแต่ต้องสั่งตั้งแต่อยู่ข้างล่าง มีลูกหาบให้บริการคิดน้ำหนักกิโลละ 30 บาท เจ้าหน้าที่อุทยานดูแลดีมากครับ ด้านบนจะมีน้ำตกและลำธาร มีห้องน้ำสำหรับอาบน้ำและทำธุระ

เหมาะแก่การเริ่มต้นสำหรับการเดินป่าไทย มีครบทุกรสชาติ เหนื่อย ชัน ชิลล์ สวย ร้อน ฝน หนาว แดด หมอก ดาว ดอกไม้ ป่าชนิดต่างๆ น้ำตก ลำธารจะแบกเองหรือมีลูกหาบก็ตามถนัด ระยะทางไม่มากไม่น้อย ไม่ยากไม่ง่าย ไม่ลำบากหรือสบายเกินไป ถ้าชอบเดินป่า เริ่มได้ที่นี่ ซ้ำได้ อัพเวลได้ ถ้าจะเกลียดการเดินป่า ที่นี่ไม่ลงทุนมากเกินไป เพราะมีให้เช่า แก้ปัญหาด้วยเงินได้ ค่อยๆ คืบคลานเอาได้ ไม่ค่อยมีอันตราย เดินคนเดียวสบายๆ ทางชัดจะมาเองแบบรถทัวร์ รถยนต์ มอไซค์ มารถตู้จากกทม. มากะทัวร์ ได้หมด สวยทั้งปี มีเรื่องราวไม่ซ้ำสักรอบอยากรู้มากกว่านี้ต้องไปเองแล้วล่ะ

ไปวันศุกร์ ขาขึ้นบรรยากาศดีมาก ๆและขาลงฝนเทลงมา ได้บรรยาศอีกแบบ เลยลงจากเขา พร้อมกับน้ำตก เย็นสบายคุ้มค่า ป่าใน 3 ฤดู

จนท.อุทยาน น้องออมน่ารักมากค่ะ ให้คำแนะนำเป็นอย่างดี จนท.ท่านอื่น ก็เป็นกันเองดีค่ะ วันนี้มาไม่ได้เดินขึ้นภูสอยดาว มาพักและเล่นน้ำตก นอนห้องพักของอุทยาน

เจ้าหน้าที่น่ารักมากๆ ถึงแม้คนจะเยอะ ก็เต็มใจบริการ ขนาดไปถึงจุดขึ้นเขา ถามหาซื้อแก๊สกระป๋องไม่มี นั่งรถกลับมาที่ศูนย์บริการนทท. พี่เขาก็รอส่ง และ รับกลับไปพร้อม นทท ท่านอื่น ไปส่งจุดขึ้นเขาอีกรอบ บนลานสน เจ้าหน้าที่ก็น่ารักทุกคนเลย

ครั้งแรกกับการเดินทางขึ้นภูสอยดาว 27-28 ก.ค. 65 ที่ผ่านมา ประทับใจมากๆครับ มิตรภาพและธรรมชาติที่สวยงาม

บริเวณที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติภูสอยดาว นักท่องเที่ยวจะต้องมาติดต่อลงทะเบียนก่อนเดินทางขึ้นเขา มีจนท.ให้บริการข้อมูลต่างๆ ฝากของให้ลูกหาบ มีร้านค้าสวัสดิการ ห้องน้ำอาบน้ำหลายจุด มีบริการรถรับส่งไปยังน้ำตกภูสอยดาว จุดเริ่มเดินเท้าขึ้นลานสน

ระยะทาง 6.5 km ควรพกน้ำดื่มไปสัก 2 ขวดใหญ่ช่วงสุดท้ายเนินมรณะชันมากยิ่งสูง ยิ่งสวย เหมาะสำหรับนอน 2 คืน มีห้องน้ำแต่ต้องเช่าถังน้ำและขันน้ำ อยากให้ระวังตัวคุ่นกันด้วยนะ โดนกัดไม่รู้สึก แต่ผ่านไปสองสามวันเริ่มคัน

แดดร้อนมาก ข้างบนมีเครื่องกรองน้ำหยอดเหรียญ(เช็คเจ้าหน้าที่ก่อนว่าใช้ได้ไหมไม่ต้องแบกน้ำไปเยอะ

เราสองคน คนนึง 66 คนหนึ่ง 64 อยากพิชิตเนินส่งญาติ ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างทางขึ้นไปลานสนภูสอยดาว ห่างจากจุดเริ่มต้นทางเดินราวๆ 1.5 กิโลเมตร (ถึงลานสนบนภูสอยดาวราวๆ 6.5กโลเมตรเราศึกษาข้อมูลอ่านรีวิวและฟิตร่างกายมาพอสมควร ขับรถมาจากนาแห้วผ่านเทือกเขาสลับซับซ้อนมาถึงที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติภูสอยดาวราวๆ 11 โมง แจ้งความประสงค์เจ้าหน้าที่ตรงป้อมทางเข้าที่ทำการฯ เขาบอกว่าเขาไม่ให้ขึ้นหรอกตอนแรกเราคิดว่าเขาปิดไม่ให้ขึ้น ฟังไปฟังมาเขาว่าเราสองคนแก่ไม่อยากให้ขึ้น เราใช้ความพยายามสองเที่ยวในการติดต่อขอขึ้น ในที่สุดก็ได้ขึ้นเมื่อเวลา 12.27 เดินสวนทางกับหนุ่มๆ สาวๆ ที่ลงมายิ้มให้เราบ้าง ทักทายเราบ้าง บอกสู้ๆ บ้าง ในที่สุดเราก็ถึงเนินส่งญาติเวลา 13.10 นั่งพักถ่ายรูปกับป้ายเนินส่งญาติ แล้วก็เดินลงมาถึงข้างล่างเวลา 14.05 ใช้เวลาขึ้นและลงราวๆ ชั่วโมงครึ่ง ถ่ายรูปกันจนหนำใจกับความสำเร็จ แถมหัวเราะหึหึกับความตื๊อของเรา กับความห่วงใหญ่ของเจ้าหน้าที่

Peaceful national park with no much visitor.Roads are twisty, nice ride for those on two wheels.Inform the guard you are just visiting the restaurant for food and refreshments to avoid paying ฿100 entrance fee.

I came here during rainy season (low seasonand i found out that its the best time for visiting because only my group on Phu Soi Dao viewpoint. Its so peaceful and the view up there is so stunning. Dont miss to visit this place and you will love it like i do.

Phu Soi Dao is the 4th highest mountain in Thailand that you can visit. Topped by Doi Chiang Dao, Doi Pha Hom Pok, and Doi Inthanon. With the elevation of 2,120 meters or 6,955 feet, it is going to be a challenging climb for those who want to experience the mountain. It is located in Uttaradit province on the border between Thailand and Laos. Hence, you can cross into the Laos side at the marker but you cannot go too far beyond the marker.How to get there?Well, its going to be a journey if you dont drive since it is impossible to go there by public transportation.Option 1: TrainTrain from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong stationto Phitsanulok about 6-7 hrs ride. Then bus from Phitsanulok to Chat Trakan District. Thats another 2 hours. This is the last spot you can get your supply before ascending to the mountain. From Chat Trakan you have to hire private transportation (Tuk Tuk, truck, vanto Phu Soi Dao National Park. The price varies but should be around 1,200 THB range (+/- 20%).Option 2: BusYou can take a bus from Mor Chit station in Bangkok to Phitsanulok. Then get private transportation from the bus station to Phu Soi Dao National Park. I have no idea about the price from here.Option 3: FlyThere are flights from Don Muang Airport to Phitsanulok almost hourly. Then hire private transportation to the park.Option 3: DriverJust follow Google Maps.After you arrived then what?Entrance fee is 200 THB for foreigners. Its possible to rent a lot of the necessities tenting gear from the park. It can get pricey as well. Beware since these rental gears can be in poor condition. Consider youre warned. The climb will be more adventurous too since you might get the chance to hike against the rain which turns the mountain into one giant waterfall.If you plan to take some awesome image of the Milkyway the visit after the rain ends. Usually, would be mid-October onwards. Then the fog usually opens up the clear sky for you.The hike can be from 4-7 hrs to the campsite (1,633 m / 5,357 ft elevationdepends on your fitness level and weather condition. If you want to climb the real summit (2,120m elevation), it is open October and an additional 500 THB per person to climb the summit. The rangers will provide you with safety gear and lead the group to the summit. It takes about 7hrs round trip starting from the campsite.PS. There is barely any phone signal at the campsite. There are a few spots where you can get faint signal. I recommend AIS for your best chance to get a signal. If youre on DTAC, youre kinda screwed.Give me a thumb up if you find this article useful.

Beautiful place to spend your time with nature.Trekking here is not too hard as it is not too steep.You can hire locals to help you carry things to the tent area, but beware as they may reach there later than you. They are slower than other mountains in Thailand.The peak opens for tourists to reach during November to January.The national park offers tent, sleeping sheet, and fire stove rental.

great for camping

Once in your life of trekking to the top of hill, Phu Soi Dao. 5-6 hrs walk on the trek path along with waterfall sound. The slope is quiet challenge in some part but the overall is great moment for life.

Best view of Sunset as I have been ever seen before, and nice place to visit if you like trekking and camping. Winter is the best for this.

Too busy. Facilities dated. Toilets poor. Dont camp here there are better parks close by.

Beautiful place, you have to stay at night to see the stars. Having fun to climb with the good ozone, enjoy with a nature.

I went there on September 2017 and the flowers were in blossom every where!! The trail is not that tough its contain some part of steel stairs. I took around 4hr with 8kg. backpack plus lunch time also took a photo along the way. A perfect time to visit should be around late August till September. Anyway, better to check again in that year.
