Love the bbq pork here. Thats what I normally get. Eaten in a couple times. Food is good. Not busy, lots of parking out front.

I tried seafood stir fried noodles, taste awfully bad and whole takeaway box had only two pieces of prawn - I wouldn’t waste $18.50 for that again, still I have heard they have good authentic Chinese food - will try again before changing my opinion for this restaurant.

Food’s alright, price is meh but 45 mins wait for just a takeaway of roast duck and roast pork. Sorry but the wait is not worth it. Lost my appetite by the time I got the food.

Menus is a bit limited. Few items on menu they actually constantly dont have. Staff and kitchen is constantly confused. Takes ages to bring food out. Waste of time

Paid $24 for the worst lemon grass chicken of all time. 80% of the box was just purely chicken fat/skin and it just yuck. Threw it into the bin..

Staff are super warm, friendly and inviting. The dining area and toilets were clean. Their duck is amazing! You have to try it with their duck sauce. Best duck dish Ive had in Auckland.

One of my favorite eateries. Staff knows me. Food made to order. Always get it hot. Big portions at a reasonable price.

Great food service a bit slow

My partner came in today and asked for a ‘BBQ Pork Bun’ he received a few pieces of pork between the pork bun dough with lettuce as well.This made my partner sick upon which he returned and asked for a refund. The lady at the counter was VERY rude, slammed my partners money on the counter and kept repeating to him ‘NO ONE ELSE COMPLAIN’ very poor service, will not be back.

I would regularly come here with my partner and flatmate. On the last visit we made here we experienced racial profiling from the staff that made us very uncomfortable. A waitress had taken orders for everyone and told them to pay afterwards. When it came to our order (please bear in mind; we have been coming here for over a yearwe were told that we had to pay before we could get our food. This has truly upset me; never have I experienced this before. We approached the counter to pay and were told by who we believe is the owner (and she knows us as regularstold us we didnt need to. If it is a requirement to pay before we get our food; I would have liked to see everyone in the restaurant do the same. I am so disappointed in this place. I would have given this establishment 5 Stars but due to the negligence of a staff member judging us I have held back. I hope that my experience doesnt hinder any future customers; the food is good and they do run out of certain foods. So please try this place; but check in with the owner and ask her "do I need to pay first".

This place is amazing, the best roast duck i have ever tasted. I would happily wait an hour to get food from here. We will be coming here every week.People who complain about the wait need to get over themselves. There will always be a wait at quality restaurants. If you want "fast food" then go to McDonalds.

Can be quite a long wait during their busy time and sometimes your order seems to get lost in translation but they are quite friendly staff. Place is kept pretty clean and food is pretty good. Lunch menu is best valie as much cheaper than the dinner and not much difference in the size. They put bok choy innalmost everything so do with that what you will.

The owner was nice. First time there. Ordered some takeaways waited a long time. Food was ok not the best lots of duck bones inside roast duck on rice. Will I be back? Prob but not very often.

Food bit pricey, and too much msg inside, you have to ask to get the tea to serviced. Even their tea taste like msg inside as well, I believe they didnt wash there dishes property. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, not worth it.

Not a bad choice given not many BBQ duck chinese cafe around in the west. Decent sweet and sour pork, sichuan spicy soup, and soup-based spinach dishes. Continuously improve your dishes to be more tasty and with good sized portion, should attract foodies for casual chinese cuisine.

Edit. Used to be my favourite place but the past few times have found that they have been putting more and more sugar into their dishes, thus upsetting the balance of flavours. Pity....hardly go there now.My new cheap n good Chinese. Best Chinese in the west as far as I am concerned. More cafe style so dont expect your typical fancy Chinese restaurant. They are not geared for big gatherings but good for days when you just want good Chinese without the price tag.

Came today with a group of friends and family to have lunch for Easter. We waited an hour for our food and everyone before us got served first. In fairness, it was busy but they should have prioritised us and had better time management. Food was average and some orders were wrong. Better to spend your money somewhere else.

We waited an hour for our food. They actually served people who came after us their food before ours. When the food did come, in some instances they were wrong. Average food quality, even worse service quality.

Really delicious!! The food is fresh, hot and tasty. We ordered dumplings, wontons, spring rolls, black bean beef and sweet and sour chicken. All items were spot on! So excited to have this place as our new local :)

Absolutely love this place, the food tastes fantastic and the staff are very nice and welcoming. 100% recommended for any family.
