Pho Tin Tin Restaurant in Nanaimo
Description
Privilege
The hot and sour seafood soup had 1 shrimp .. 2 pieces of celery.. a pice of tomato ..seafood flavoured foam chunks ..and a handful of bean sprouts.. lol wishing I could post a photo this soup is atrocious.. gag!
MoreSuch a lovely little spot. Lots of seating. Tons of food options. Rice dishes, Pho, bahn mi, spring rolls, salad rolls. I got the #43 Lemon Grass Chicken, spring roll, and rice. The chicken was so full of flavor and tender.
MoreThe best place with the nicest staff and the food is delicious !!! Thank you
Ordered a meal to go it was ok! But 20.00 is pretty steep for a bunch of noodles and maybe 3oz of protein and 3oz of veggies!
Morepork salad rolls were literally spam. Kind of stinky smelled like a sandwich. Also peanut sauce tasted like water so not worth the 60 dollars. Delivery driver was valid though:)
MoreHonestly, a huge HUGE disappointment :(I was on a hunt for a great Vietnamese sub, and had read a positive review about this place. Frankly, I dont get it.The sub I paid just over $13 for (!!!), a Beef Sate sub, was woefully thin insofar as contents go... bit of cilantro, tiny (!bit of pickled veg, and a token spoonful - AT MOST - of beef. It was somewhat tasty, but the contents were dwarfed by the submarine roll.NOT RECOMMEND, sorry to say.The hunt continues...
MoreOrdered from UberEats, and it was so good! Thank you!
Amazing service, the gentleman who took my order at the front was very nice! Also the food is amazing and it’s clear they put a lot of work into keeping the place clean and the food comes quickly. Definitely a nice shop to check out if you’re ever in Nanaimo and have a craving for some Pho.
MoreFinally! Since moving here I’ve tried many highly rated Vietnamese restaurants and was so disappointed with them all that I just stopped trying for a while. I’m so glad I opened up to trying another because Pho Tintin is it. Everything was great. Also they were extremely nice.
MoreVery nice owners and great food. Best bubble tea.
I ordered a bubble tea, pho soup and a rice dish. The person serving me was worried I wouldnt be able to finish it all but he looked very impressed when I did. Staff is very friendly, everything I ate was delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Probably my favourite restaurant in Nanaimo.
MoreMy friend had a small won ton soup. It was a big bowl - looked and smelled delicious! Dont be put off by the look of the exterior of the building - the inside is very clean and cosy. The service is friendly and professional. Check it out!
MoreBrought our family for PHO, tasty, always pleasant staff.
Great Vietnamese food! We usually order takeout from here every Friday. Our favorite dish has been #33 on their menu, which is Lemongrass chicken and a spring roll, served over vermicelli noodles with salad fixings. Pour the delicious fish sauce over the works and enjoy. One day, we are definitely going to mix it up a bit and order something else off the menu.If you are looking to try a different restaurant, this place is highly recommended.
MoreBrought my mother for lunch here It was delicious. Have to try sandwiches next time.
MoreOrdered via skip the dishes. Absurdly over priced for the portion received. Spent $55, expected a meal for two, got a snack for one
MoreThe best pho place in NANAIMO hands down.Always tastes amazing. I’ve tried 2 other pho places in Nanaimo and they both disappointed me. Pho TinTin however… GOOD. GREAT. Every single time. 10/10
MoreMy partner and I eat Pho Tin Tin a lot! The owners are lovely and the food is great! Recently we started eating a plant based diet for the most part and we were so happy to find out that Tin Tin also has amazing Vegan/Veg options! I highly recommend Tin Tin, you will not be disappointed, its the best Pho in Nanaimo!
MoreGreat food, friendly staff/owners.Never been disappointed with the food. The #47 is my go-to.
MoreTonight, I ordered shrimp salad rolls, a BBQ pork sub, and a rare beef and meatballs beef noodle soup. The rolls were crispy and delicious, the sub sandwich was very fresh, and the soup was quite excellent (although it was a bit weird to have a couple of ingredients provided separately—thoufh I do understand the complexity of delivering such a dish). All in all, am very satisfied with the food and would gladly recommend Pho Tin Tin for a casual bite, a hearty lunch, or a nice dinner.
MoreWow! Deluxe Pho was everything I needed! Flavor was excellent, the price was on point, the food came in a timely manner and the staff were very kind.Walk in with an open mind and be blown away by the quality of the food. A true Nanaimo Gem!
MoreGreat restaurant! A little pricier than other places, but worth it. The pho broth was incredible, the service friendly and the building clean and professional!
MoreIts too expensive for a bowl of Pho with a couple pieces of meat (I got 6 pieces in total for 15$). The broth didnt have much flavor. The noodle was from the package in supermarkets. The man owners service attitude is awful. Not recommended. Dont waste your money in here. Extremely bad experience! Absolutely never come back!
MoreMediocre. I got a soup to go, which proved impossible to eat without making a mess because the broth with all the contents of the soup once added overflowed the soup container.
MoreI have been trying to go to this restaurant for a while but each time I go they have been closed. Unfortunately they were open today. I had lemon grass chicken and bbq pork on rice. The only thing good was the pickled garnish. And it is the most expensive Vietnamese restaurant in Nanaimo. 17.50 for rice and a little bit of meat. I certainly do not have an issue paying for quality. But it was not. I received 3 small pieces of pork. The chicken had no flavor. Wont be going back.
MoreNormally, I love this place! But the salad rolls have been less than satisfactory. The rice wraps were still hard and I had to pick it out of my mouth, and then I wound up just removing them entirely and trying to pick out some of the food from inside. This made for a very messy & not-so-appetizing lunch. Moral of the story, I would reccomend anything but the salad rolls!
MoreI love the soup so much 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We appreciate supporting a local, family-owned restaurant and the pho and rice dishes here are some of the best in town. The owner is amazing, personable and has an impeccable memory with our food order!
MoreGreat service, delicious vegan pho!! I recommend.
Great subs, had dozens and dozens of times with them. Had 8 years of subs in East Van so I know vietnamese subs. This place makes GREAT subs and the owners are very friendly. Going to order another 2 right now.
MoreI’m so picky about my pho because I know how much work is put into it. People think it’s just soup but it’s a labour of love. The pho here is easily the best I’ve had in years. The broth tastes like a warm hug. The atmosphere is lovely. There’s no top 40 pop radio on, it’s soft music in the background. The service is excellent, and the little elderly gentleman is so kind. I would recommend this over huong lan any day.(I didn’t take pictures because I was too excited to eat)
MoreMy Fiancée and I came to the island for the weekend and we were craving some Vietnamese food. We came across Tintin and tried it out. The food was authentic and the service was amazing. I believe it’s family run and own. Definitely would recommend this place 10/10. Will come again next time we visit for sure!
MoreProbably the best spring rolls my bf has ever tasted.Bubble tea on pointLemongrass beef and chicken on point. And their subs are wonderful.
MoreThis place is terrible.Ordered the BBQ Pork Salad wraps, the bbq was char grilled ham sandwich meat. The containers to both the lids of soups were deteriorated to the point they leaked all into the bags and were wasted. When we called them, the owner was extremely defensive, and for our troubles we were offered a replacement on our wonton soup...
MoreThis was my first time there. Fast and very friendly service. Food was great. Dining area is very small, but I do take out anyways. Thank you, will be back.
MoreGot their hot and sour soup and loved it, very well done. Nice clean friendly atmosphere, hardworking family running the place. Have also had their banh mi subs and they are great.
MoreThe environment is good. Their pho is 2 dollars more expensive than the pho restaurants behind Costco, but has much less meat and noodle. Can you believe a 14 dollars pho just has couple small pieces of meat?I mean, it is not bad overall, but I will never come again.
MoreIt was a spontaneous choice to stop in. Not my regular part of town. The food was really good, had a pho. It was quiet and the service was really good as well.
MoreSo good service and quite environment! First time come here. Good impression!
Great place for all your specialty cooking and taste buds
Lady at cashier was nice, was friendly and definently not rude like most most Asian places . Waiters were very nice and didnt rush me to take my order . The wait was very long , about 1 hour . Parking was horrible. I came on a Sunday , at noon for lunch and took me 30 min to find parking. The parking structure is collided with market, and other restaurants.
MoreI absolutely love this place! My favorite place to go in Nanaimo. Pat and Vicky are the sweetest most friendly people around. Sadly, not too many people know this place exists. Its a hidden gem. Support local businesses and be sure to check it out ♡
MoreCame late at 730 and they were very kind and let us order in with no feeling of being rushed! Did not leave until 815. Food was amazing and reasonably priced!
MoreThe so called charbroiled pork bun dish was basically a honey ham cut up on top of vermicelli. Quite spongey as well. Pretty gross. Pho was decent but very cheap on the amount of meat. Worst viet I’ve ever had
MoreWe come here often and consider Pho Tin Tin to be the best Pho in Nanaimo. Another awesome dinner my wife enjoyed the Vegan Vegatable Soup with noodles hold the tofu and I powered down a large bowl of Wonton Soup with Noodles. Almost forgot the Spring Rolls we had for the appetizer. Still our favourite Pho TiNanaimo.
MoreLovely setting, delicious food and great service. Fantastic for any meal and picking up some specialty groceries next door
Morewe love going there. super cute family run restaurant. amazing vegitatian options!
MoreI go in here all the time for bubble tea. Ive also grabbed their salad rolls which are to die for and spring rolls. Everything has been fantastic when Ive gone there so Im sure everything I get in the future will be too. Extremely friendly staff and great food.
MoreSuch good food. Great value. We love Miss Vicky the chef. She does an onion and ginger dish that is to die for. Eat here, you will not regret it.
MoreTheir soup is the best in Nanaimo town.
