Casual Vietnamese restaurant providing noodle soups, rice plates & banh mi in warm, homey surrounds.
If you planning to go here, better to throw away money. Save your money
Authentic Vietnamese food thats surprisingly good. Prices are reasonable, service is quick, and friendly servers. Really impressed with the quality of the food for such a nondescript restaurant. Close to Tanger Outlets so great place for lunch after shopping.
Good pho.
Great location with parking. Food was ok. Not the best. Pretty much the one rare vietnamese restaurants at the beach for people who craving for asian food or pho. The pho is not good at all. The rice is better. Most of the stuff in the menu is unavailable. Also short staff with long wait.
Your old school viet restaurant. Not the cleanest and not the friendliest but food is good. I would give it 4 stars but my bun bo hue didnt not come with pig feet and I was super disappointed.
A hole-in-the wall restaurant but food is delicious, affordable and quick service....
Highly recommend if you’re in Atlantic City looking for delicious + authentic Vietnamese food. Staff is friendly and they work hard. Be good to them, be patient with them (this place is always packed- I’ll be returning every time I visit AC.
What a surprise it was to find such high-quality Viet cooking in the middle of Atlantic City. A truly amazing experience of amazing food, relaxed seating, and easy parking. My partner grew up in a Vietnamese family, and so I’ve had a lot of good Vietnamese dinners in places like Houston, Paris, and the homeland itself. I’d put Pho Sydney right up there with some of the great lunches I’ve had here in the U.S.In particular, we enjoyed the smokiness of the pork in the banh mi, the Bun Rieu (which had delicious pork meat balls), and the banh xeo (which had delicious shrimp and was cooked nice and crispy). Looking forward to going back in the near future.Tips for making the most of a visit:- Follow their directions when it comes to parking.- The pho ga (Chicken phois cooked in normal beef pho broth, so be aware if you’re expecting traditional pho ga.- The iced Vietnamese coffee has extra milk in it, so it’s not as concentrated. I don’t blame that choice, but it’s not to my liking.
I wanted to like this place...because the Pho was good, but the man behind the bar handling customer payments of their bills was horrible. After my girlfriend filled out the receipt with total and tip (she tipped a very standard amount)...the man took the receipt back, looked down at the part she filled out, then looked back up and purposely glared at her for a solid awkward 3 seconds. It was very weird and uncomfortable. Apparently we didnt tip to his liking? You wanna make first time customers looking for a new Pho spot feel unwanted and unwelcome...you succeeded. We wouldve been regulars, now well find somewhere else where they treat their customers better.
Delicious food. Excellent thai iced tea. I recommend.
Our first time in this place. The people serving are not nice. Sorry, even the food we ordered are not presented well. The place is not clean.
Pho and egg rolls are on point. Take out takes 5-10 minutes and is packaged well for car travel. Love this place
This place is small and cozy and welcoming. An absolute must if you are looking for a place to dine in Atlantic City. I had the #51.
Great food and friendly servers. Went with my friends and they were super happy about their different phos. I had the lemongrass chicken with steam rice was delicious. We ate here by accident because the restaurant we were going to had a half hour waiting time. This accident was great!
The food is always amazing. We have to stop here everytime we visit AC.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service, 10/10!!! Really made my day in AC :)
The food was amazing! Best Pho ive had.The steak slices were tender and as rare as promised.the pork ricewrap rolls were amazing and flavorful, they dripped the best sauce from the inside even without dipping into the dipping sauce. The service was VERY fast. The Portions large and filling. Will DEFINITELY be going there every time I end up in Atlantic City.10/10 WILL EAT AGAIN
Service was great. Food was fresh and bright. I will definitely go back.
Absolutely delicious, authentic, no frills Vietnamese. The pho broth alone is a masterpiece.. Let alone the beef, tripe, tendon, and pork. The Banh mis are a dream come true. The staff were very kind and sweet to the kids as well. A+ wish I could eat here 3 days a week.
If you’re ever in AC and have a hang over from a great night of partying, this is the place for you. Pho was delicious. Love their broth. Very friendly staff.
My first visit was just ok, service was fine, food was adequate but lacked in spice and finesse. A little pricey for me, there are better choices in town.
Great food..Recommended ..always semi crowded here but still seating available. Try Vietnamese Coffee snd you make it yourself do you can watch. And the # 52 or 54, spicey Beef with white rice. Food is served at decent timing. Decent pricing. Parking outside on side of building is bad so park across street at curb
we ordered beef stew which was mostly rice noodles (full bowl of itall the stew was absorbed by the noodles three little pieces of meat were found in a gigantic bowl of rice noodles, pork chop was as thing as a 1/4 inch totaly cover in a brown-sweet sauce couldnt even taste the meat just the sugary sauce but there was at least three cups of rice (more that a normal person can eatcouple pieces of cucumber & tomato, NEVER saw a place were food was served so poorly
Nice local place. Good service and good food. Place is pretty decent size, and or order came pretty fast. Worth a trip out and away from the casino for something different and at a better price. Caution, they have a free parking lot thats two lot sections over from the restaurant. You dont want to be in the wrong parking lot to get towed.
We got pho and some smoothies there as take out. They separated the noodles and broth so we can bring it home and not have soggy noodles. However, the noodles were very undercooked even after we left it in the hot broth. We had to cook it ourselves so were not eating hard noodles. The broth was amazing and perfect. They also gave a lot of meat, we ordered the first pho (#9 on the menu). I just wished we didnt have to cook the noodles ourselves. It will probably taste better when you dine in since they will cook it for you.
Walked in here while looking for a place to eat after going to the outlet stores. Very good food -- pork spring rolls had a great smoky flavor.
The taste of the soup is great! The meat balls can be more generous, the meat is so tender tho. The freshness of the condiments is excellent, the crunchiness of the sprouts makes it even better
Went here with some friends and I have to say this is the best Pho Ive had so far out of about 12 Pho restaurants Ive been to. It can be a little intimidating if youre not familiar with this kind of food, but the staff there is pretty friendly and didnt hesitate helping with our questions. I definitely recommend going here whether its your first time having Pho or your 10th time.
Stay away from this place if you don’t want to get food poisoning…went here for pho with the family on Tuesday, and a few hours later my mom had the most painful stomach ache and trip to the ER the next morning. She had severe diarrhea a few hours after eating the pho, so we knew it was the food here because she was fine hours and days before…we think it’s the basil or veggie not washed correctly, or something not kept cleaned there…I hate to leave bad reviews, but want to save future customer a trip to the ER…the food was not bad, but they need to change how the keep things sanitize and clean the raw basil leaves for the Pho better.
This place is honestly amazing. Beyond having great food the service is fantastic and so efficient. The waiters work really hard to make sure everyones orders are correct and organized. They do a great job of making sure big groups can split bills without confusion. The service is also super fast, our food came out pretty quickly after we ordered and we were able to pay and get out of there without the usual headache of big group dining. I loved it. I would 100% recommend to anyone who loves Vietnamese food!
A+ everything. Food came out fast, hot, fresh and tasty. My wife said the beef tendon could be a bit more tender (wasnt cooked long enough that it turned into jelly-like texturebut everything else was great. Easy street parking, and the staff were all kind and professional.Would be happy to return! We had 1 app + 3 lunches for under $50.
My husband didn’t feel well so he ordered pho for takeout and I got pork chop with rice. It took us about 10min to get back to the hotel room and start eating, that’s when we found out the soup is COLD!!!! It was so cold that the pho noodles couldn’t get soft and bean sprouts were completely raw. Thank goodness I ordered cooked meat for him. However, he didn’t feel good after eating and it was a terrible experience. We always order pho from a place 20min from our house and every time the soup is still very hot when we get home! I believe they left out the soup when my pork chop was still being grilled. Good portion and flavors are ok. Overpriced.
Great price, large portions, excellent taste
A solid & authentic Vietnamese restaurant in AC. Ive been coming here for years & the quality is always the same. Very good pho with tons of meat, legit spring rolls & pork bowls that are super flavorful. A must go to . Staff is OK can get crowded.
This local Vietnamese restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Hard to find food Vietnamese food in Atlantic City and their dishes were authentic and delicious. Look out for the free parking lot for this place right before you hit the restaurant, it is located right next to Maria’s Luncheonette.
Dont come for the decor or let it fool you, the food here is excellent. Not only are the portions sizes super-generous, but the flavors are genuine. They incorporate seasoning and flavors that are true Asian, not the typical Amer-Asian that you may be used to, and the presence of much more rare and expensive herbs were clearly present as our meals landed at the table. Skip your usual take-out joint and give this place a try!
Had an excellent experience the past few times that my family and I have come here. This experience was different, my mother ordered the pork chops with shrimp fried rice. . The pork chops contained a piece of hair, and we brought it to the attention to the waiter. The waiter brought it to the attention to the owner. The owner kept insisting that the hair that was in the food didnt pertained to any of the staff and kind of showed that my mother planted the piece of hair. We didnt make it seem like it was a huge deal but the owner did. Once we had left the restaurant , my father forgot his phone, we called the restaurant and the owner picked up, claimed that he didnt have the phone in his possession and the restaurant was closed at 9:27pm . Hang up the call and called back saying you have five minutes to pick up the phone. In a harsh tone. . . My family and I will not return to this establishment.
The food was good. Little pricey and that is it
I have been here about 5 times and I love the food. I recommend their spring rolls, 32, 33, and 34. Each time, my food comes to my table quick. No less than 10 mins each time, crazy fast. Prices are a little pricey but they do come in big portions. The only downside is the menu online is outdated which leads to wrong prices. That and they dont have their own website and with a lot of free websites nowadays, its really inconvenient. Literally the only reason why I gave them 4 stars
Food is fantastic. Great price. Not a fancy dress up place. Just a great affordable meal!
The food here is fantastic. I love it. Fresh and good tasting.
Excited to find a nice affordable Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was on par with other Vietnamese places, but what really still out was the grilled banh mi. The crisp crust of the baguette accompanied by the pork and fresh crunchy vegetables really made this sandwich incredible. Incredible enough that we ordered 3 more for dinner. I would definitely recommend coming here rather than the tradition Asian cuisine available in most casinos.
Excellent. I do not live in AC but if I did I would eat here often. What a gem!
Come here almost every time we visit AC. The pho is really good. Broth isn’t too heavy (I get the chicken phoand it has a good portion of meat and noodles. Staff is friendly (but it gets busy and you have to flag them down usuallyand price is good.
Ordered Banh mi thit nuong (#76). Super delicious. Bread was toasted perfectly, I love a good French baguette. Meat was juicy and insanely flavorful. One of the best banh mis I have ever had. Came two days in a row and ordered the same thing back to back. Super fast service. Iced coffee is delicious.
Really great if youre in the area for pho. Never had any issues here but sometimes the people can be... strange. (Drunk in my experience)
I am a visitor from Taiwan, and visited here two times in 2 days. It’s awesome better than anyone I’ve tried in Taiwan.
Great cheap Vietnamese food in the area. They have tons of options and so far everything Ive tried was great!
Food was delicious and they were quick to make it. Great place.
They have good Pho and Vietnamese rice dishes. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are the best especially the roster pork sandwich.
