Pho Hoang Long - Restaurant in Marietta, United States
Pho Hoang Long in Marietta
Description
Privilege
Went for dinner. They were curbside only. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and goi cuon. 1st off, NO utensils or napkins. Pho sauce was way more fishy than any other Ive had. Going xuon was fresh and tasty but full of stems. Eating this in my hotel room was a challenge. 😡
MoreAbsolutely delicious! Im so stoked to get a chance to eat here while Im visiting from out of state. Fresh and delicious! Quick and friendly service. Plenty of add in options on the table. Yum! What a gem!!
MoreI always get the masaman curry!!! One of the best places to get curry in the area. The pho usvpretty good too!
MoreAwesome food, great service.
Love the pho here. Their broth is flavorful and won’t leave you feeling parched after eating. Truly a hidden gem. Definitely give their pho a try.
MoreFood ok. Service ok. Prices high. Won’t be my go-to!
First the gentleman that was working that took my order was awesome! Amazing customer service! I purchased my husband some Pho he had been craving. I was in the area and stopped here. He loved his Pho!!!
MoreVery clean!!! My waiter very attentive-polite-professional Im a 10 year patron at I luv pho the Buford highway location so this was a quick fix... sorry guys just didnt cut it for me Buford highway Im coming home...
MoreBest pho in the area hands down
Friendly. 1 waiter but he was fast and very nice. Pho was on point (Im a pho critic). Lots of condiments, herbs, lime and bean sprout.11 dollars for a XL and nice portion. Small hole in the wall. Please dont change anything
MoreVery surly, rude and condescending host, server. As you walk in you are told credit card machine not working. Cash or Vimeo only. You are told to scan the menu. I could not open it. So I headed back to scan again told to go back to table and I will help you. Two of .my choices on the menu not available. Good is good service SUCKS! Will not return!
MoreNo indication that dine-in wasnt available. Instead, staff picks and chooses who can dine-in. Was told to wait in my car. 30 minutes for the kitchen to produce two appetizers. Ordered shrimp rolls that were not supposed to be fried. Received fried shrimp rolls. Chicken satay was dry and salty. Peanut sauce was replaced with hoisin sauce. Staff was not personable at all. Prices on menu are inaccurate, was up-charged with no warning. Altogether disappointing.
MoreThis was my first time here and I absolutely loved it. The waiter/cashier (I think his name was Josephwas amazing! He was doing everything and in a timely manner. He was very friendly and the food was superb! Will definitely be visiting this restaurant again!
MoreSo far Ive had their Cari Ga and Gang Panang. Both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat customer service and even better food! Fish Cakes Good! Spring Rolls Good! Beef & Tripe Good! Their food GOOOOOD!
MoreI was really surprised, a friend recommended this place to go eat, I was doubting at the beginning but the food is really really good, I truly recommend this Pho place, best one I have ever had in my life
MoreNot authentic Vietnamese food taste for a Vietnamese like me. Went here because of the good reviews. The main issue is the attitude from the staff. When we entered at 3pm, they started the first cleaning of the day (seemed so!and we were eating while smelling strong cleaning supplies so it destroyed the appetite obviously. The staff was rude, like they couldnt be bothered making money at all 😂
MoreThe Pho is flavorful and they dont skimp on the fresh add ins. The coffe is great as well. In many restaurants, the Vietnamese coffee is pre-made and overly sweet for our taste. The coffee here is dripped fresh for each order and the level of sweetness can be adjusted. The staff is friendly. If you love Pho and havent tried Pho Hoang Long you definitely should!
MoreBest mom & pop restaurant in town!! Not overly priced, a lot of food & very nice people🙂 My favorite is grilled chicken & then chicken pho 😋
MoreAmazing food. You have to wait a bit for the food buy is worth the wait. Fresh ingredients and good service.
MoreExcellent Pho! Love the steak and tendons! I like extra steak and tendons when I order but I was told that tendon prices were high and that I couldnt get extra! I went to another Pho restaurant but they are not that great! Pho Hoang Long is the best!😀😀😀
MoreFaithful to this place! You can’t beat the prices, quality/taste of anything on their menu and not to mention the friendly customer service every time I come dine in or place an order. Thanks PhonHuangLong for existing and your hospitality!!!!
MoreIts in a hole in the wall, but the place has great food & terrific service. Great beef short ribs and all the rest Ive tried. Good prices as well. Thanks!
MoreBest Pho in the area by far! This place is certainly my go-to. Service is always fast, the people working there are super nice, and the food is so good. It’s a small family owned shop and I’ll always be a supporter. If you want faster service and a better price, call in. Don’t order thru the food apps.
MoreThis place is hands down my favorite Pho spot I drive from Gwinnett just to eat here. Classic small but amazing spot! Service is the best, family feeling for sure and the food is always the bomb.
MoreThe food is still good, quantity has gotten smaller though. Service also has slipped a bit. Much slower.
MoreMy favorite Vietnamese and Thai place in the Smyrna area. I always order the chicken red curry and it is flavorful and fresh. The Pho is yummy, and I also enjoy their pork spring rolls.
MoreI had heard that they had excellent Pho, and I was in the area, so I gave it a try. The gentleman at the counter helped me with my order with friendliness and patience. A+++I ended up ordering P1 and A4. The pho was absolutely phenomenal. The spring rolls were great too. Their broth is so good, it honestly needed very little (if anyhoison and sriracha. I cant recommend this more. Their togo order was so big Im having it for dinner again tonight, and I will probably have some left for tomorrow too. ❤.
MoreBest Pho place in the GA! I have been to many and this the beat by far. Best food to cure your cold. Hot broth is just what the doctor ordered! Staff super friendly! Love this place, can’t wait until they open up the dine in.
MoreFirst visit, first day of them attempting dine in service since the pandemic. I had pho with rare steak, brisket, and flank steak. I got a regular serving. It was huge. Came with a plate of bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil, and limes to doctor it up, along with cups of a Sriarcha style hot sauce and Hoisin sauce. It got tastier the longer I ate it. We also had some shrimp basil rolls that came with a peanut dipping sauce. No complaints would certainly return. 🍜
MoreThe food is excellent & very tasty. You better get your chop sticks and spoon ready. This was only my second time really eating pho and it was the bomb dot com. The atmosphere is awesome because its attached to a Vietnamese supermarket. Clean restaurant, good service, and tasty food. Extremely Authentic. You cant go wrong
MoreHidden treasure found! This is my first time here and it won’t be the last! No frills decor which doesn’t bother me at all some of the best places I’ve eaten are considered “holes in the wall” the pho was good, the prices are great!
MoreLOVE it! The Thai AND Pho are amazing.
Been coming here for years. Always order the P6 and spring rolls! Dont forget the Thai tea with Boba Always fresh and delicious!
MoreI have been coming here for last 3 years. I have both called for take outs and seated at the tables many times. I have always enjoyed their food that is as authentic as possible. It was wonderful to find this gem of a place for my pho craving without driving to Buford or further. I have always enjoyed their friendly services even when it becomes crowded and busy.
MoreThe phô is absolutely amazing. My favorite is the seafood. Im here literally once a week to eat possibly more for thai tea. The brothers that host are super nice and attentive. This is up the street from me so it will continue to be a regular spot for me to visit.
MorePho Hoang Long is mainly a Vietnamese restaurant but also offer Thai food. Food was good, staff friendly, service good, and fast.
Morepho is really good when Im hungry. the place is crowded at noon
Not the place to go to for authentic Thai food nor curtomer service. Looks are deceiving. Theve been reported to Better Business Bureau for grossly mistreating their Mexican and Black customers. The person seating people snatched money out of an elderly lady hands before antagonizing them for having "the wrong taste buds" because they were dissatisfied with their dishes. His treatment was vile and there was no checks and balance because he was the owners son. There are so many non-bigoted Vietnamese and Thai restaurants in Atlanta. The same guy reached over the counter to snatch my food out of my hand and exhibited the most violent disposition towards myself and several other customers showcasing his personal bias. Please do not support this place and the thai food was subpar.
MoreStrip mall gem! We went on a guess and look what we found! No need to drive to Chamblee or Duluth for good Pho. Wife had the Shrimp Pho with thai rolls and steamed dumplings. The pho was amazing for her. Better than most. Steamed dumplings were ok. The sauce was pre poured in a cup which lacked unique flavor. The shrimp was grilled or charbloiled into the pho which gave it a great layer of flavor. I had the house vegetable rice with tofu. Very tasty however not as good as Hot Cafe. Needed garlic. My daughter had the cream cheese rolls which she loved and the thai fried rice with lots of chicken- best ever she stated ( picky teenager. Overall you will enjoy. Order to go if you like, seems to be the more popular choice. Always trust my reviews.
MoreWhen I sat down, I noticed a lot of Vietnamese families strolling in to eat, so I knew that was a good sign. I usually have to drive all the way to Buford Hwy to enjoy good Vietnamese food. I ordered the Pho and it was perfect. The first test is I always try the broth first, and it was a winner. Will be going back to try their other dishes. The place is wide open, plenty of seating and very clean. Service was not terrible.
MoreNot bad. Not great. Average Vietnamese food with good service. Perfectly acceptable.
MoreI decided to stop by and check out the restaurant after reading great reviews. Here are my takes. The service is somewhat lackluster. You walk in and they take you to a table. You get a few minutes before they stop by to take your order. At the time there was a team of brothers taking turns serving, cleaning and checking in/out customers. They were ok with interacting with the patrons. Nothing they did would consider stellar or bad service. The restaurant is small and clean. Their menu contains the same items as you would expect from a traditional Vietnamese restaurant, pho, rice plates, vermicelli and etc...I opted for their Bun Bo Hue and Thai tea, which cost 8.95$ and 3.95$, respectively. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the correct veggies that normally would come with the Bun Bo Hue. They were out of the red cabbage so substituted with bean sprouts and mint instead. Food took a bit longer to come than expected. About 15 minutes. The Bun Bo Hue was ok. They could have tenderized the meat by cooking it a bit longer. It was chewy for my taste. The broth seemed to be missing a key ingredient, lemongrass. This is what needed to make Bun Bo Hue a Bun Bo Hue. It also didn’t pig blood and pig foot. Overall, not a true representation of Bun Bo Hue. If you’re looking for an authentic Vietnamese dish this restaurant might not be the one.
MoreI had egg rolls and pho tai. So, so yummy. Lots of fresh toppings to go in the soup. And the small bowl was more than I could eat in one sitting. Food came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. The dipping sauce that came with my egg rolls smelled like feet to me. Other than that everything was absolutely fantastic. I just dipped my egg rolls in soy sauce instead. They have 2 very large, beautifully maintained salt water fish aquariums.
MorePretty good food I didn’t go there for service the food was pretty good will go back.
MoreOur FAVORITE spot for pho!!! The restaurant itself is nothing fancy. It is located in a shopping plaza. But make no mistake about it, the food is outstanding. The pho is LOADED with fresh veggies and the various broths are very tasty without being over salty. The spring rolls are awesome! Great vegetarian/vegan options, including veggie broth! The prices are GREAT for the large portion you get. The dining room gets packed during busy times, so expect a small wait at times, which is a small price to pay for quality, hand cooked food. Enjoy this awesome gem!!!!
MoreDecent food with authentic taste and good price. I like their pho and thai dishes
MoreA bit of a wait, but well worth it! I will definitely be going back!
This place is really trendy and attracts a diverse crowd. They have good food all around. The service can be slow at times but the food is worth the wait. You cant go wrong with the pho, but I recommend the musuman curry
MoreDelicious pho. Just as good as more popular places on Buford Hwy, if not better!
