I really enjoyed the pho and rolls here. Being Viet myself, but not making it known when I visited, the owner was very welcoming and was super happy when my group and I asked to try some Viet beer. Really cozy atmosphere and I will definitely be back.

Great Pho restaurant. Broth was delicious for both chicken and beef soups. The best part is the lady who runs the restaurant. Fluent in English and expressly friendly. Loves to chat and talk about just about anything including her time in Vietnam and her recipe.

Excellent quality Pho Ga and spring rolls. I am quite picky about Vietnamese food since I lived there for a long time but this place is very good.The service was GOOD. Fast and friendly and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.Contrary to what other reviewers say, the lady who runs the shop alone is a lovely person, very friendly. Dont be rude and she will reciprocate with friendly service. Should apply to everything in life but anyway - I made a point to say this because I think the negative reviews are unfair.

Poor service. Noodle, beef and crepe were surprisingly good, but we dont feel welcome at all.

Such a cute little place quietly tucked in an alley......those who manage to find it is in for a treat! Moved from Canada to Jalan, if theres one thing that I miss all the time, its a good bowl of pho - so simple and basic, yet theres something so addictive about pho such that I would classify it as an essential! Pho Saigon has delivered exactly what I have been craving for the entire time - a big nice hot bowl of pho with fresh noodles, bean sprouts and good quality slices of beef! To have dinner in Roppongi for 1200 yen that is filling and satisfying is a miracle in itself. The owner Susie is such an incredibly sweet lady. I love this place and will definitely come back regularly!!!

Visited for lunch. Unexpectedly, the restaurant is very cozy and at home warm atmosphere.The music was traditional Japanese Enka.I would like to try other dishes during lunch but there are only Pho and spring rolls at this point.The owner is very friendly which is very nice and charming part of this restaurant.

A small spot that I so wanted to like, as Vietnamese offerings in Tokyo seem somewhat limited, but it was a lackluster food experience with mediocre service. The small restaurant has about 20 something seats, with a limited lunch menu. Unclear if there are 1 or more staff at lunch, but I only saw one female who took our order. Unsure if she also cooked the food after taking orders. There was one patron in the restaurant when we entered, and it took a bit of time to get our food (understandable of she is doing both taking orders and cooking), just something to be aware of when eating there. Of note, when my partner and I asked to pay for the bill, (she was paying), she just gave a larger bill and didnt look at the change she received. When I began to leave behind her, assuming (as she also didthat the bill for both of us was paid for, the staff member gave me a look, and I put together that she thought we were paying separately and hadnt charged my partner for my meal. An easy miscommunication or mistake, but the way that the staff member was mentioning "I gave you such and such change, you gave me this amount, ect" made it feel like we were trying to skip out on paying for a portion of the meal. It disturbed me, but maybe it was a fitting end to a meal at this particular restaurant.

Eat the best Pho in Japan right here. Or go eat the other stuff.

I’m not typically one to write reviews but it’s unfortunate to say that I walked out of here unsatisfied. I consider myself an easy going, respectful and not at all fussy patron but when it comes to rude behaviour, I think I need to call it out. I came in on a weeknight after work looking for a quiet and unimposing dinner for 1. When I ordered, she very bluntly said, you’ll have to wait until after I’ve cooked [the other table’s] food. It came off as though I was being a burden on her but it looked like she was working alone so I empathised and shrugged it off. As she brought over my meal (I was happy to wait but it did take 30 mins), I was yelled at for innocently drinking water from my own bottle after I had ordered table water and it never came. It’s unfortunate because the food tasted good, but it honestly wasn’t a very enjoyable experience because I was so stunned by the unprovoked attack while minding my own business. To echo what I’ve read in some other reviews, she would give me no time of day and then turn around and be super chummy with the Caucasian and Japanese couples across the room the whole time. Call it racism or simply selective treatment, either way I didn’t feel very welcome there. I ate quickly and left. There’s SO many options in Tokyo, opt for somewhere else.

Susan (owneris awesome! Supposedly this place gets busy for lunch but wasnt bad for dinner. The Chicken Pho was fanstastic, My friend loved his pork dish.Update:This time I went for the Pad Thai / stir fried rice noodles with chicken (and shrimp). Amazing. This will be my new goto.Update 2:Came with a big group and we all had an amazing time. Susan can be tough on the surface but has an amazing heart and really cares for her food and people. Added the Morning Glory this time and that is a new regular now.

Great noodle dishes. Pork and beef dishes were perfect. Morning Glory greens and shrimp spring rolls delicious. Good vibe and owner is hilarious if you get to know her. Definitely going back.

Apparently a reservation is necessary for dinner at 830pm when the place is 80% emptyl. I dont think she is interested in having customers.

This is a very cozy Vietnamese restaurant! They serve very good Pho, I personally think this is the best in Tokyo. Dont miss the fresh rice paper roll!! The balance between different ingredients is just perfect.Please be patient with the chef there as she is running the whole shop by herself!Definitely worth coming and try it out!

Excellent beef noodle soup (bun bo hue). I highly recommend this place for Vietnamese food. I agree with a previous review, she’s kinda rude to Asian people.

Very authentic. Huge portion of pho you won’t find elsewhere in Tokyo. Spicy bun! Rich pho!It’s occasionally closed in August, September and April when the owner takes vacation.Owner is very friendly and gives extras for free.

If I can give this place a 0 star I would. Horrible customer service ever seen in my lifetime. BECAREFUL when reading reviews isn’t always true. I came here because of great review and very disgusted by the way the owner treated people. I am Asian and I notice that she treated people who wasn’t Asian in a nice manner way. What disgrace to other Asian I’m sorry to say. I literally almost think she was a bit racist to as Asian racist. It not kids friendly place for sure she seem hate children. So DO NOT take your children. I think she should put a sign door saying no children allowed. The only time she treated us nicely was when I said sorry I’m just gonna have to go else where since she said she have nothing much on the menu left but I think that was a lie to kick us out as she doesn’t serve to children. I ask her kindly if she had a high chair she said “No if you don’t like it then you could get out” we notice she only one cook and serve and we still wait patiently as we understand.My mom thought I go up to ask for a cup of hot water just to make thing easier for her but she told my mom to sit down your blocking The way. I’m sorry I work in customer service and respect people but I never seen such a disgrace to japanese and Vietnamese and a human being. I’m sorry this reviews is long but people need to know the truth when coming to this place. I understand work can be stressful but Don’t take your problems on others maybe she should just close for the day, then instead of being angry at certain customer that walk to that door.

The beef pho is just ok, nothing special.

I came here to try the pho because of all the reviews and I left unsatisfied, firstly the pho took forever to be served even though we were the only people in the restaurant (about 20 minsand when it was served there was so much pepper on top that that’s all I could taste. I’ve never had pho served with pepper before and if so it should be optional, the meat was also way over cooked. Will continue the hunt for authentic tasting pho in Tokyo.

The best pho in town with a great cool chef. This is my comfort food where I go, I feel like at home. Suzie ( the ownerhas her very cool style in this cold distant Tokyo life and of course real Vietnamese cuisine.That’s why I highly recommend people who love pho, soup and Vietnamese food.If you are a high addict on chili sauce and hot peppers, this place is perfect for you. This is the only place I could find in Tokyo where there are real hot pepper!Enjoy!

When you are so Vietnamese you go find pho on your last day after two weeks in Japan bc you are all Japanese out, pho bo cay (spicy beef pho). The broth was super beefy and bold. I dont know what she did to it but it isnt what I had before from Little Saigon in California, USA. Very amazing and delicious. Glad I took a chance while my friends didnt. Sadly missing was the Thai basil to send it to the moon. The owner is very sweet and she spoke 4 languages. I was very impressed.

Great pho, probably the best we ever had, with perfect noodles, meat and broth. The lunch deal comes with salad and fresh (meaning freshly made for youspring roll. The owner is super nice and speaks English fluently, which makes ordering a breeze as a visitor. She also had great sightseeing advice for us. Highly recommended.

Ive never been to vietnam so I dont know authentic how this is, but I have tried several pho in tokyo, and for me this is the best. for lunch set, it costs 1200 yen and comes with salad and spring roll. the owner is very nice!

Im pretty sure this place is closed for good, or maybe just at night. We went here on Jan 3rd and 7th around 7pm, and both times was closed.They might have been closed on the 3rd in lieu of New years holiday, but there was not any notice or sign stating it. I really wanted to try it so I came back on the 7th, and it was closed without any notice as to why.Just wanted to give people a heads up, so you dont waste your time.

Pretty much the best vietnamese food probably in Tokyo. The pho is better than the ones I had in Saigon.I work around here so I try to go here for lunch as much as I can.
