Easygoing staple with comfy booths serving an array of traditional Vietnamese & Chinese meals.
Food was good and service was great.
Love this place! Their Pho & Summer Rolls are the BEST! I get them everytime in in Lowell!
OMG the best vietnamese FOOD!
Our food cam out quick and was delicious!
Great place for Pho !!! Love it !!
The food does not taste fresh, off flavors. the vegetables include celery and non-asian vegetables, not fresh. I will say that others appear to be eating the food and looked happy.
Great Service 👍 food is great as well.
terrible weird taste on the beef noodle soup and much smaller portion comparing to near by pho restaurants. And cost more than others as well
Food was served pretty fast and our portions were well worth the price.. everything was delicious.
Good and tasty pho, it wasn’t really really flavorful but it’s better than most places. It’s clean places one of the most important thing for me . Servers was nice and they had professional uniform. I also ordered lo mein, you usually don’t expect good lo mein from Vietnamese restaurants but this one was good as well. Lo mein was not big portions .
Had the Pho Ga and spring rolls. Both were wonderful.
Such a delicious mean. I love Pho and this place is the OG of Lowell. They are extremely guick and all the servers are very nice. I cannot wait to go back and get more!
Best Vietnamese food with great service. They make the crepe the real way. Also they have the authentic lime sodas.
There was a fly inside of my ice cube. The staff was very accommodating but the pho also didnt have much flavor!
Food used to be better. The chow food dish was soooooo soupy, it looked very unappetizing.
It is my favorite joint in town. Theres not a thing on the menu I wouldnt eat but the Pho is to die for. It is for my money the best value in town for what you get.
Dined in for the first time and the food was great! I mistakenly held up 2 fingers to indicate that I wanted the 2 cha gio (fried egg rollsand instead received 4. The waitress must’ve thought I wanted 2 orders. Be sure to clarify your order!Besides this miscommunication, the food was delicious. Regulars started pouring in as I left. Great to see the place prosper during difficult times. Will have to return for their other dishes!
I ordered (to go a large noodle soup with shrimp and squid and they only gave me 3 pieces of shrimp and 3 small pieces of squid in the whole soup. If you’ve eaten front here before you know the soup is pretty large so to have very little of anything in it is disappointing. The broth also has barley any flavor. You’re better off going to Peephuptmei for noodle soup for they are generous with portions and have a lot more flavor
Good. Been here before many times in the past on our way from New York to New Hampshire. Past experience had slightly better prepared food but was still yummy.
The food was so bad and the beef was over cook and expired, and this is my first and last time I com here
First time there and loved it.
1-Star because that is how low you can give.Well, where do I start.Upon arrival, we waited 5 minutes to be seated while the 2 waitstaff were busy. When seated, we were given Take -Out menus.Okay because of Covid guidelines. My girlfriend and I ordered vermicelli dishes. Hers was $9.75 and mine was $9.95 according to the menus we were given. When the check came, my girlfriends food was $10.99 and mine was $13.49.I asked the waiter about the discrepancies and he said that we were given menus with old prices. I asked how that happened and he said that the owners were waiting over a year for new menus to come in, but their regular customers knew that the prices were different.I said that I was not a regular customer (having only been there about 6 times in 3 years). How was I to know that the menu prices were not updated? They should take a menu, mark it up with the current prices, copy it and give it to customers instead of, in my eyes, ripping-off customers. It will be a long time (like neverbefore my shadow darkens their door to eat there.I told my girlfriend that if she has a yearn to eat at Pho Da Lat in Drumhill, she can go alone.
This place is okay with Flavor and amount of foods but when it come to pricing this place will charge you for everything single things. Even small little things like more veggies for pho. It will be the last time Im going there. Ordered 2 Large Pho without any drink $35 tip not included. Highly over price. Dont recommend.
The food. Dude, the food. The building and decor could use a face lift & they need to put some music on, but youre there to eat not admire artwork. Everything was fresh, flavorful, traditional & this was only my first time there. I intend on trying the entire menu because I intend on going back. Save all judgments until you eat. Then the other flaws wont matter. Still gets 5 stars, despite a lack of atmosphere, the food is that good.
Everybody who loves pho knows that this place is the absolute best. It sets the standard for all pho in New England. Respect and honor the best when you find it!
disappointed. overpriced and not good. service is ok. wanted beef loc lac. when we got the food it looked different than the normal beef loc lac but we kept it anyways. didn’t have any flavor just tasted soy sauce. the receipt came and the beef loc lac was $18 a plate. i think the server didn’t understand us and got us a beef steak plate instead of a normal beef loc lac. i decided to give this place another try but never again!
Food was ok i got beef drunken noodles 4 small bits of beef at most good flavor though small portions for the price drinks are overpriced as well
Disappointed as food used to be much better. No longer Asian taste. Typical sweet US style now. Spicy dishes are very mild now.
Always GOOD. This traditional Vietnamese resto serving some very authentic delicacies. The Pho soups are phenomenal. Dont forget to try the fried egroll too!
This place used to serve good but now they don’t even clean there tea cup even the water it has bugs in it wth it’s bad y’all gotta do better come on!!!
Made a pit stop here to eat while dropping a friend off here and got the Specialty Beef Noodle soup and it was delicious the beef was cut nice and broth was savory and plentiful and the wings were cooked perfect would come back if I am ever in the area
Standard SE Asian menu with better than average meals. Always very friendly. Not upscale and perfect for family night out. Also just two minutes from the movie theater and 5 minutes from downtown. Easier to get to from the highway than downtown.
This is my second time here. I had the beef soup first and now the vegetable soup. Vegetables are always fresh and the soup is delicious
Good service, price and location, but pho broth is way too sweet. I wonder if Owner know this. If they improve the pho broth will come back.
Truthfully the food was okay, I had the pho and my sister had the fried rice. Nothing really special about the food here. The pho broth was okay and the fried rice was okay too. It was like as if the food was lacking on salt or other flavors. But I thought the decorations and such were a bit interesting. If youre really hungry, this isnt a bad place to stop on by. Especially if the place down the street is very busy. But if youre looking for something to blow you away, another restaurant might do better.
A friend recommended I try their crab Rangoon, I was not disappointed. Best Ive ever had. I usually work late and they are usually closed when I get home. I picked up their impressive menu with my order, my first visit there since they opened. A true hidden Jem. Ill strive to come back much more often.
Best Vietnamese I’ve ever had. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s a hidden gem with an extensive menu, delicious fresh flavors and huge pho at great prices. Must go!!
Awesome PHO & Viet/Khmer specialties. Beef loklack, Fried squid, steamed Sea bass w/ginger&scallions. Great setting, no alcohol. Worth the trip to Lowell.
AH-MAZING Vietnamese food!As a lover of all Asian cuisine, Vietnamese take the top, in my book. This food was amazing-some of the best I ever had. The service was great! They are so so sweet and attentive to what you want! From the outside this place doesnt look like much. It could use a paint job.... BUT let me tell you, the inside is charming, clean and very nice! Ohhh and did I mention the food is Devine?!!?Go! Enjoy!
Friendly staff and really good noodle soup, though the overall look of the place is under par, I am always hesitant to touch their doorknob when entering the place. A little maintenance would help. I noticed that their lunch specials are not offered any more, which may indicate slightly higher prices at lunch time.
Feels like im family there service is friendly i love the atmosphere the food is exquisite to the best of flavor never disappointed with anything i ordered on the menu
In need of a clean up but food is fresh and tasty. Watercress and chicken soup is great.Lunchtimes are usually quite busy. Very quick service.Prices OK but not cheap.
Excellent Pho, smells so good as soon as you walk through the door. Have been there several times for lunch and is quick and delicious.
Inexpensive Viet fare and friendly wait staff. Food is very good and service is usually very fast. We go here every so often to get pho noodles and are never disappointed. Yum! And did I mention bubble tea?
A surprising experience. The noodle soups are fantastic. Good quantity of food and very fair prices. Service is excellent.
Excellent cuisine! A must for those who like exotic (and not so exoticfresh good food. The main dish is soup, but it is a meal! My advice, is pick a few apps, and order small-sized meals/soup. Enjoy!
Pho is always a go to dish. The Bò Kho is OK compared to other local joints.
Got the roast duck over yellow noodles to go. Tasted Great, Good duck. Untill I noticed the bugs in it... Looked like tiny cockroachs and also had fruit flys. Worst experience with soup.
Dont go to this restaurant unless you want large flies served with your food. The shrimp in our spring roll was not fresh and the food was bland at best ( I wonder why ). Not sure if this restaurant is trying to emulate traditional Vietnamese restaurants; if we wanted to eat fresh insects, Vietnam would be the ideal place to visit.
This Pho Da Lat has been one of my local favorite for years now. The main reason is the broth. Its tasty yet doesnt have a lot of MSG compare to some other Pho restaurant. The hart and soul of the pho is the broth so if you can make the broth right, the rest is easy.We had a company Chinese group lunch here the other day and its actually the first time to eat pho for 3 of them. They all enjoyed it and said want to come back again.
