Philippine Military Academy Gate - Tourist attraction in Baguio, Philippines
Good. Weather is nice
The place is great, well guarded and very safe, starting from the gate up to the very inside of the school. The student are well disciplined and very well mannered, there are clean restrooms everywhere, the place is very neat and clean. The air are soothing and fresh all throughout the day. The place could be ideal for picnics since they had a park and benches under the fir trees, they had a lot of gazebo to rest rain or shine. There are lot of people inside that you could ask for whenever you need any questions. There are lots of great and nice spot for ideal selfies and groupies photoshots.
Very historical and all the details were all well preserved
Were not able to enter since we didnt know that theres a needed reservation before the visit.
Its very clean...
Youre visit to Baguio is never complete if you miss this place
Always good to go. Hopefully they will allow taxis and jeepneys inside soon. 😊
Signage of pma is ongoing construction
Its amazing and historic place to visit
we failed to accompĺish online the visita, pma befòre the visit and the staff manning the checkpoint up to the Triage were very helpful to make our visit come true Thank you very much!
Clean👌 Just that the canteen items are all overpriced👎
Patriotism is taught in this place.
Beautiful place perfect adventure.....
Werent able to go inside PMA..new rules in effect.. must register on line..coz only 300 persons are allowed in a day..Were sorry...
I worked here as site supervisor, as long as everything is well coordinated, everythings good-to-go
Before going to the Academy register first to Bisita.pma.edu.ph, open daily from 8am to 5pm. No wearing of short shorts and slippers. Always observe rules and regulations of the Academy.
Quite quiet. A few tourists today
Nice view and place to visit. Time to visit Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 11:00am only for this Season
Nostalgic! Been here when I was in elementary. So much has changed. Still not open for public due to pandemic...
Love the place.. You can see a lot of military do their exercises around the academy. So peaceful.
Great!
You can visit the place and see fir your self how they train newly soldiers and see real tank, chopper, and friendly soldiers
For now. This is all you get. PMA imposes a very strict no visitor policy due to Covid. No one can get inside the Academy if you do not have official business to do inside.
The PMAis our premier military institution and it is here where future military leaders are molded carrying with them the motto of the academy "courage, integrity and loyalty "
A tourist spot here in Baguio City, this area in front known for souvenir pictures...
This camp is a well secured, upon entry the driver must surrender his ID, there is headcount and car plate is listed for security.
PMA during 1980s to 1990s was the best. PMA nowadays is commercialized. Still a must visit place but as a local, a total disappointment comparing to the old days
Simply visit it to appreciate it. Theres not much of an attraction but it is filled with history and culture.
When you planned to visit Baguio dont forget on your bucket list this amazing place..So much fun!a lot of things and spot to take photos hehe.and of course to all military 🙈🙉
Strict military command. Dont wear shorts or any revealing clothes. Make sure drivers license is up to date. Great view for quick photo op. Some areas not allowed for capture.
It was unfortunate that PMA was closed to the public when we went there because there was an on-going investigation about hazing. So we just had to enjoy taking pictures outside.
If you want to take a photo here, you should get off the jeep before it goes straight to Kias or go inside PMA itself. You can choose to walk/trek from the gate and take a feel of what the cadets do every morning when they jog/run. Otherwise its a great spot to end your tour in PMA top-down
A very nice place. The cadet is willing to be invited to take photo together. There is a jeepney going back to Baguio city
Philippine Military training center and also a tourist attraction. Former of Philippines finest.
I am from Canada and came here with my mother and father because my grandfather was in the Philippine military in the, 1960s and I wanted to look around and learn a bit about the Philippine Military. Unfortunately I Was not able to enter due to the fact that my father was white. The driver rolled down the window and the guard at the gate looked around in the car, saw my dad and then immediately denied us entry. I understand that this is a military installation but if it is labeled as a tourist attraction, all should be accepted regardless of skin colour.
First time I Go to this place and Go insideThey are well mannered in the place 😍
One of the most beautiful places I visit, I dont mind them being strick especially if we dont walk in pedestrian lane 😂 haha it jist means we still needed some practice and also manners.
Open only during weekends they do not allow visitors on weekdays.
The strong arm of the Filipinos, a must go here in the City of Baguio💂
Wow👍👍👍 the place is great, well guarded and very safe, starting from the gate up to the very inside of the school. The student are well disciplined and very well mannered, there are clean restrooms everywhere, the place is very neat and clean. The air are soothing and fresh all throughout the day. Tourists can only enter the PMA starting at EXACTLY 8:00 AM only. For strict compliance.
Got a chance to have a photo when the guard does not allow us to enter for its already 4:00 pm..they are closing..
When visiting PMA always wear shoes. slippers and sandos not allowed and visitors allowed from 8am till 5pm only
As soon you arrive in the Gate you might notice the guard and they will ask you... preferably if you visit that place you will walk miles i think so. But it is a nice place and you can enjoy your visiting here. Just bring your own bottled water and please observe cleanliness. 😊
i love pma
The place is nice though since last last year they had an entrance fee already. But I think 20 pesos is quite enough already per person for the parking lot and entrance to the museum. They also have a cafe in it and it offers pizzas and cakes and also drinks.
If travelling by car, drivers license need to be surrendered at the Gate entrance were MPs (military policewill collect them and ask you to roll down your car window. They will also advice you that "wearing slippers" are not allowed. Then, moving forward where you can see a booth which you have to pay 20php/person for entrance fee. (same rate for senior and student).
Moving up
Were not able to enter MPs told us because General Bato will going to visit PMA. Good thing is were allowed to take pictures at the gate
The staffs are very nice and friendly. They gave me some peanuts when I check out. Thank you..🙏P/s: you have to wear shoes when visit here, slippers is not allowed to enter
