Philippine House Restaurant - Filipino restaurant in Wichita Falls, United States
Omg the food was so good! My husband ordered the bbq pork skewers and I ordered chicken adobo. The family who runs the restaurant were so kind and chatted with us, made sure we liked the food and the music. The chicken adobo was amazing, it was just like my grandmother used to make. The bbq skewers were to die for. For about $8 a plate we got plenty of food and left stuffed. It was so good I even bought some to take to my mother who will no doubt be in heaven when it reminds her of her mothers chicken adobo. They will be remodeling soon, but just as soon as they open back up, I will be coming back all the time and telling everyone I meet to come too!
Really really good food!Yes, there are some bad reviews on portions and service, BUT they really care and changed a lot since then!It was and is an awesome experience going there! Also, the menu has been cleared up and it’s pretty easy to order now!
1st time & impressed. A young lady came out from behind the counter and asked and educated us to the food on the menu. I told her to get me what she liked. IT ROCKED!! Fried rice & a pork with souce. She told me what it was but naturally I forgot, BUT I will didinately be back. Very clean, well organized, and more then friendly. Worth a try for a spin on your taste buds!!!!
Excellent food , amazing service .
Our meal was delicious! The creamy pork dish was fantastic, the egg rolls were yummy, and the service was impeccable and friendly.
Some of the best food Ive had in town!
Good food and good vibe.
Food was cold. Lumpia was dry and hard. Wish I would have just made my own food at home. My mothers chicken Adobo was so cold I think winter was sprinkled over it. People were rude. They will never stay in business with food lacking flavor or temperature.
The pork belly skewers are awesome. I love all the sauces, especially the creamy pork adobo, and their unique flavors. Highly recommend
My nephew (who eats there about twice a weektook me to The Philippine House Restaurant for lunch. I had the Chicken Adobo, with Fried Rice, and the meaty spring rolls. The rice was spot on, and the Adobo was one of the best Ive ever had. As for the meaty spring rolls (which I can never remember the name of), well, I could eat at least a dozen by themselves. The portions were not large, but my meal filled me up. The staff were very nice and courteous. I will definitely be going back to try something new. I give my complements to the cooks/chefs there.
This place is disgusting very dirty. bugs all over the dining area. The staff and operations are very unorganized and price is ridiculous. expensive for such poor food quality. My food was cold tasted stale and reheated and had hair in it. Will not be returning.
This place is horrible ....An hour long wait for food the food they had that wasnt an hour wait was old because it was cold. The staff not very helpful explaining the menu and way over priced
Amazing food and wonderful staff.
The food was cold and tasted old. The price is higher than every Asian food place in town and smallest portions. The whole place is very unorganized and messy.
Very sweet people; however the food was barely luke warm at Noon and the serving sizes were small...not consistent with the price which is more than most places. I want to see them succeed here in the Falls but it will be very tough at these prices with a small menu. I wish I could give them a higher rating. 😥
The Food was not good at all. the Chicken was old like it was sitting a long time and reheated very expensive for the amount of food you get and low quality service
Ok... seems to be struggling with organization.
The restaurant was very dirty my food tasted old and stale as well as the drinks the employees cooking had no gloves on and there was hair in my food...as for the price it is cheaper to go to texas road house or samurai and get a better meal for a lower price than here.
Way overpriced and they couldnt give any recommendations or suggestions or tell anything about what the different dishes are
This place was terrible and way too expensive.
I had never had Filipino food before, it was absolutely amazing! They gave me so much food I had to take half of it home for dinner the next day (which was still amazing after sitting in the fridge!)
Food was very good. But, being unfamiliar with Philippine foods, they were unable to recommend food or explain what dishes were. Menu was not helpful. The food is great, but need to be able to relay recommendations or explain what they have to people unfamiliar.
The food was just awesome! The service was also pretty good! They really care about the negative comments and adjusted meal sizes, cleaned up the menu readability and improved the service overall. And try the Halo Halo for dessert, it is AMAZING!!
Please pardon me as I dont know the phillipino names for the dishes. I had the chicken Adobe and the fried noodles. Wife had the pork skewers and noodles. Food was really good. Lumpia was awesome. Prices were good and plenty of food.
Food was great. The hospitality was top notch. Filipinos are friendliest people Ive ever met. I will be back.
The food and staff, like always, were great.
Good BBQ, adobo, and halo-halo dessert!
I dont see how this place is still in business serving old food. 10 to 12 dollars a plate for less food than a childs plate at any other restaurant. I paid nearly 16 dollars after my drink. For o e very small meal. The egg rolls were soggy and not fresh at all the rice is disgusting. They are not very organized at all. This place is just nasty all around from the food to the service and especially the dining area dirty trays and trash piled up on top of the trash then put right back on the serving line.
Was not impressed at all would definitely not return the food is expensive poor service and no flavor
The menu is confusing and no items are available. food had no flavor and looked n tasted terrible bad service and too expensive was hoping for authentic Filipino food and what I got was tasteless stale food. The rice was disgusting it was hard and old with frozen Vegetables will not reccomend or return
The food is old and looks like its jas been sitting in the warmer for only God knows. The lumpia is not fresh at all and staff is very rude.
Thank you for the delicious food and super friendly service! ❤️🙏🏽
Large portions, great flavor, super friendly staff. Order the pampano if you like fish!
EXPENSIVE!!! WAY TOO MUCH FOR SUCH SMALL PORTIONS!!! Nearly 9 dollars for one egg and a scoop of rice not a good idea. The food was very bland had no flavor and was old. The rice was dry and from the bottom of the cooker. The staff were not very friendly. Restaurant was not very clean dirty tables full trash.
High priced very dirty. The food looked and tasted old. Rice is old and dry. Service was very bad no help with menu or what the items were. They were out of nearly all the items on the menu.
Pricey and small portions, the pork adobo looked and tasted weird, had a gray colored gravy with little flavor. I grew up eating Filipino food as my mother is from the Philippines. I thought this place would give me a taste of home but it sorely missed the mark. The fried rice was hard and dry, pancit was flavorless. The pork BBQ on a stick lacked flavor and they are always out of the Lechon. Hopefully they can get these problems fixed or they will be another failed restaurant in Wichita Falls.
VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! Small portions no flavor
The food did not look very appealing at all. The menu is hard to understand. None of the staff greeted me or explained the food. Not very much to choose from. I got the rice and egg roll both tasteless and dry. They are twice as expensive as other Asian places and twice as bad.
Not a good experience at all. None of the menu items were available no pinakbet, no kare-kare, or kalderetta, even though it said pick and choose. The food that was available looked like it was old and did not taste fresh. The adobo was hard and the rice was dry and had no flavor. Very dissatisfied
Price is way too high. Portions are too small. 9 dollars for two chicken wings. You can tell the food just sits all day looks and tastes old like its is not fresh. The fried rice is stale and has no flavor. Do not reccomend and will not return
The pork bbq skewer I got was raw as well as the egg rolls. Rice was dry and noodles looked old crusted. Price was to expensive for the small amount of food and quality I received. The restaurant very messy overall dirty tables trash was overflowing. Do not reccomend
They didn’t have lechon kawali which is a menu item...and the food that was in the buffet looks old very disappointed cause we drove an 1 hour to eat here it was only 4pm and you don’t have what I ordered in the menu
Great flavors and generous portions. Will definitely come back!
