Very good location ๐ very good staff
Average place
Awful place! I didnt feel safe! very scary and the housekeeping always acting weird..I think the hotel owner is not so mentally stable, she acts like were hostages in her big palace if you know what I mean and that was the scariest thing in my whole life ๐๐ Oh and the smell, I had a BIG FAT PROBLEM with smelly toilets and restaurant! Awful experience I would NEVER recommend!
Pretty bad
It was a good hotel it has the following pros1- Its location is great as it is in the center of the city so it was easy to find transportation to any place2- the staff was so professional and friendly3- the room has a great view on the NileAnd its Cons was1- there is no elevator so you need to use the stairs to go to your room2- the room was so narrow and has no enough space to put our luggage
Clean roomGood breakfastNice location near souq and in front of nileFriendly staff. Not a fancy hotel but ok
Very nice staff, good view to see the NileCould park in front of the hotel, but u may need extra help from the old hand since the space is very limited;Breakfast was ok. But what we feel super warm is that the staff would prepare a breakfast box for u if u r in a hurry or has trouble with the breakfast time. We had a trip to Abu Simbel at 4 am, and they were so kind that provided us lovely boxes at the reception!!!!!Unfortunately, the hotel has no Wifi in the room. And it must be paid by cash. credit card is accepted. We had to withdraw a large amount of Egyptian pounds from a nearby ATM.
Okay hotel in central location in Assuan, rooms somewhat dated.
The hotel is beyond amazing with its very friendly staff and manager. Everything about this hotel is simple yet great. The details were overwhelming and its location is such a win win deal.
It was a very good mid-range hotel! It has everything that were advertised, the room was decent-sized and clean, and the staff were really helpful. We had a river view room and the view is very nice! The breakfast was really good, they had the normal bread, cream cheese, yogurt, jam/honey, crepe, a bowl of fruit and falafel (very nice!). They give out breakfast boxes if you are leaving early for tours ( we left at 4am for Abu Simbel and the boxes were ready in the reception when we got down). The location is really good as itโs very near the ferry to get to Elephantine Island (costs 5EGP one way for foreigners). There is a shop next door that is open til late which was convenient and the owner was very helpful. Banks are a few steps away from the hotel if you need a cash machine. They can also help you organise tours if you ask them, they give good prices but we were able to shop around and haggle for less so we did not go with them. The only thing about the hotel is the Sign, it wasnโt very visible! The convenient store owner next door hd to point out the hotel for us
Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with a nile view, only wifi isnโt reliable.
Glimpsed from our boat ride around the Philea temple across the Nile
I booked this hotel through booking.comFrom the room i enjoyed beautiful view of Nile River. From this hotel KFC and other restaurants are in walking distance.Room and washroom are big and clean enough but there is no hand-shower in the toilet so it can be a problem for few people.Breakfast was included with our booking. Since we needed to leave the hotel early in the morning they prepared and packed in a box properly.I really enjoyed my staying there. ๐
I was so happy from the first minute , awesome hotel , perfect location in the city center , so clean room and outstanding view for the nile ,but what i loved the most the so helpful staff specially Rifaat Emad el din and abdel rahman.
Little bit expensive and old but amazing staff and service
The staff is great. The location is very convenient.
The room it self was good, were I had a problem was the fact that every time I left the hotel they had me leave the room key at the front counter. Made me wonder why they even give a key when only the hotel staff would have free access to the room not me
A lovely family-run hotel in the centre of Aswan town. The beds are comfortable, and thereโs a beautiful view of the Nile from your room window. The hotel doesnโt have an elevator, so youโll have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to your room - the staff will take your luge up the stairs for you, so no need to worry about that.Follow my full-time travels and food adventures on instagram @poppybling
Decent hotel that has noticeably aged since its opening and glory days many years ago. All the facilities are relatively clean but very much dated. Theres no extra amenities in the hotel besides rooms and a restaurant for breakfast which was okay. The staff are pretty nice.
Very poor hotle...Family room was about 2 small double rooms merged together, it was very small room without a balcony, bad view, there was no even a roof in the hotel to see the nile, no place for my father to smoke!Breakfast was a limited offered meals not an open buffet. There was a fallen broken aluminum window above us while sleeping which was dangerous, and the other didnt close properly at all.The staff was only one person called "Mahmoud" who was doing everything, he was very helpful and polite, but we canceled from the first day.Very expensive comparing the value.
Just reaches the minimum requirements of a hotel; feels as though a lot of corner-cutting is going on
Would be 4 stars if it had a good view
Room 101 , perfect view of the nileVery friendly staffJust at the center of the town
Very good service and very good decorations and facilities (but there is no ironing servicegreat breakfast and friendly staff ๐ฅฐ๐
Its a good place to crash for a night or two, great view. The rooms need renovation.
Lovely and cosy. Best location on the Nile Corniche of Aswan, steps away from the old market and you can get into a lovely sail boat to every spot along the Nile. An exceptional Nile view from the terrace and a very welcoming and warm personnel. Recommended.
Excelent crew. The room was clean and confortable but there is no elevador and you can hear sounds from the street in the room.
The best place ever to stay in Aswan.I dont know actually how to start describe this great place since it was a long-stay residence for 3 months. The hotel managed by a great Madam Mrs.Eman, she was so kind and generous with us, she answered all our requests without any hesitation, motivated to help us even in things outside the hotel, also she invited us for a marvelous feast prepared in the hotel kitchen by the best cooker in the world Mrs.Sahar. ( Try to ask her for a traditional Egyptian dish, ducks meat with more local small dishes and truly it will be the best experience to remember)Further more, you will find a best well-managed staff that will be so kind and dealing you with full respect and smiley faces. The receptionist gentlemen were so kind ( Muhammd, Zeyaad, Rajab and Saraanswered our call in any time and so helpful, special thanks for the lobby-boy (Mr.Hasanfor his efforts with us.The house keeping staff were so tidy and helpful (Mrs.Sahar, Um Hashim and another great lady I cant remember her name)Finally, I do recommend this place for each one, since it is the hospitality hotel.
Very poor quality, no elevator, but has great view.
very friendly stuff nice location good room
Excellent hotel. Nice view, good breakfast. Tours prices are reasonable
Friendly staff. Internet connection was good. There were some complimentary cookies and two bottles of water. Staff packed for us a breakfast box (because we had to check out by 0500amquite a good snack for the road. The only downside was the hot water - its good enough for 1 person ..but it finishes very fast and the 2nd person has to wait for another 40min till the water heat up again. There was a shower gel in the bathroom and a very good hairdryer
Awesome place! Was better than 4 star Cairo hotels. Large and clean room, bathroom was also clean, kind people. They booked all the trips to Luxor, Abu-Simbel and everything.
Nice and cozy place.. Great food.. Great and friendly staff.. Centeral location.. Highly recommended..
We were very lucky with our Egyptian Hotels. They were all our sanctuaries over our holiday. Despite Winter Palace Luxor being so high quality I think my favourite may have been the Philae Hotel. This quaint hotel really had character but best of all the staff were all absolutely phenomenal. Sadly I didnt catch everyones names but Mohamed Boshra was the stand-out. We had a great chat and he was very helpful in locating some good places to eat among other things. The tours and such we received from this hotel were also all good. The room was simple but more than serviceable. Everything was solid and suited its purpose... best of all though was the unique window into the shower... Great for couples though perhaps a bit odd for those not so inclined!
Decent rooms with a good breakfast (they can also box one up for you if youre doing the early morning trip to Abu Simbel). The best part was the hospitality - the ladies at the front desk are extremely nice and they even let me stay in my room after officially checking out because I had a late afternoon flight back to Cairo.
Cute hotel. Nice amenities. Clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning was the best!
Clean rooms and nice people. The building itself its a bit old. Nice breakfast
Nice friendly place. Good rooms.
Went there to book a trip to Abu Simbel. Friendly staff.
This hotel was right on the nile, and it was clean and comfortable. Excellent value, and good breakfast! Staff was friendly. We didnt book any tours through the hotel so I cannot comment on their quality.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was newly decorated, and clean and fresh. The breakfasts were excellent, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is situated at the southern end of the Corniche, and is convenient for the souk, shops, ferries and of course taxis and caleches. The only drawback was that the internet was not too good.
The room is clean and the staffs are friendly and helpful. We asked them to book the trip to Abu Simbel and they prepared breakfast box for us as we had to leave hotel on early morning. Totally recommend.
The rooms are great: very spacious, cleaned daily, the king size bed was the best we had in Egypt and the bathroom was spotless with a good shower/bath.The staff at the reception was always ready to help and booked a lovely two day cruise for us to Luxor, on a days notice, for a very reasonable price (we compared with other venues). The location right on the riverbed is ideal! Even the WiFi was working well in our room (rare in EgyptI clearly recommend it!
Staff is friendly, nice hotel by Nile river
Its Must visit Historic temple near Aswan on a small Island have to travel by boat
Beautiful room. Excellent location. Amazing staff
good for over night stay. the service is very friendly.
Way to expensive for a 3 star hotel. $70 per night is a joke. Go elsewhere.
Great location , brilliant view , but very noisy
