Excellent customer service and the doughnuts were phenomenal and we came closer to close. Came from St. Charles to try these and they didnt disappoint.

Excellent donuts. Soft and airy with a wide variety of flavors available. Cheesecake, Death by Chocolate, Choclate Custard just to name a few. If you are in downtown it is worth a stop to enjoy the best donuts in St. Louis City.

Stop at Pharaohs Donuts on my way to work never knew it was there. Love it the donuts were delicious. Stop by the next day bought a dozen shared with co workers great all said delicious. I will definitely be stopping again.

Don’t remember how I stumbled upon Pharaoh’s, but these donuts are worth the trip for either location. What you’ll find here are the best textured donuts no matter what kind you enjoy. Grab a dozen with some variety and I promise you won’t be disappointed. The employees are friendly and the prices are extremely fair compared to the superior quality - served with love! Good vibes, awesome donuts!

Everything I got was excellent. Especially enjoyed the glazed cyclops, had cheesey flavor in the cream. Like a danish

Its a shame that such a great product can be overshadowed by poor customer service. The black female cashier is consistently rude. Requesting certain flavors and asking about availability of certain types usually is met with sarcasm and dismissiveness. If she is an owner or a family member, please move her away from interacting with customers. The donuts are great though.

This place is has the BEST donuts in St. Louis! They are FRESH, SOFT, YUMMY, and the staff is so friendly and full of fun jokes! The glaze, Im not sure what they do different but its perfect!Sorry, Donut Drive in... you were the best until I had these. 2nd best now.

Limited selection but it was after 9am. Most of what they had were heavily glazed that I do not eat

Disappointed. Attitudes ruin a GREAT business and leave a horrible reputation. After ordering here frequently… today will be the last. I refuse to support any business that promotes and hosts unfriendly front counter staff to its PAYING guests. As a specialty doughnut shop, you would think they’d have some sort of display up to know what kind of doughnuts are in the case but instead they have a bunch of very pretty doughnuts unlabeled…. When i say instead of her stating what each one was she starred at me… waiting on me to say what I wanted and i had no idea since half of what i usually get wasnt available. I originally wanted to place an order for my entire class training this morning but with the horrible customer service it was much less. she also refused to move as I grazed the other doughnut cabinet didnt ask if she could help me with anything just starred at me and asked if i was done in the cabinet she was already in rather than explaining what doughnuts were on each side. Just a horrible experience pleaseeeeee get friendly staff in this shop because the product is actually really good!!!!Side note: you will be asked to wear your mask while THEY REFUSE TO WEAR HAND GLOVES while preparing your food. wow who is the owner of this establishment LMFAOOOOOO

Delicious, flavorful, soft dough and fresh! The jelly-filled, caramel bar, cinnamon bun and glazed donuts were all fabulous. Skip the chains and go to a mom and pop place thats amazing!

Straight up Im husky. I know a good donut. Paharohs donut holes are the best. The second best can be found at YumYum donuts at Venice & Grandview in West Los Angeles.

Super fresh and delicious. We had yeast and cake donuts that were perfection. At the time we were there, the selection was among 4-5 types, but they were replenishing with others as we left. We are pretty spoiled by high donut standards, and even with those standards, these are excellent!

Some of the best glazed yeast doughnuts around! We ordered 150+ to have as a late night snack for our wedding and they were a hit! Easy to order and were ready for pick up when we needed them.

My family stayed in an airbnb close to downtown and one morning we decided to venture out for donuts. This place is the real deal. Small business, friendly service, reasonable prices and the donuts were fire! Great variety. Everyone loved them.

The donuts were very very good. But not a big selection. And we got there minutes after opening. Im not from a big town so trying to find parking sucks to try to get into a store to pick up something to eat in this location. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic donuts. We got 4 to try them out, and each one was fantastic. Really nailed the classic donuts like plain glazed and old-fashioned style cake donut. To me, that’s the sign of a great donut shop- doesn’t hide behind fancy flavors or gimmicks. Solid, actually good donuts even stripped back. We also tried the cinnamon roll donut which was fantastic - somehow felt like the perfect combo of a donut and cinnamon roll. Had a yeastieness to it and was truly spectacular. Worth the stop, plus the folks inside were super nice.

Everything they make is incredible my delicious. My personal favorite was the cookies and cream which had a whipped cream topping. It was a knock out donut and I look forward to the next time I’m in St. Louis. The staff is wonderful and helpful and 12/10 would recommend to everyone.

Feels like a hole in the wall but dont let looks deceive you, this is THE place for delicious donuts! When I am craving the best I go to Pharaohs. The glazed is bomb and the apple fritter is a personal favorite. Why not grab some donut holes while you are at it. They also have special ones each time Ive gone in. Yum!

This is the BEST kind of donut shop. Small, and off the beaten path. Located in downtown St Louis, if you blink you might walk right by it! But the donuts are some of the very best I have ever had(2nd only too Peterson’s Donuts in Escondido, Californiathey melt in your mouth. Go get some NOW!!!

We ordered 5 donuts for a very reasonable price. The man working behind the counter was very friendly and pleasant. He even went out of his way to make donuts fro us. The donuts tasted fresh and tasted delicious.

The donuts were awesome. We got there late in the day and there was still a decent selection and the staff was very kind. The smell of fresh cooked donuts almost knocked me over when I walked in. You could see them making more donuts fresh in the back. Great all around!

I had the new Pumpkin Spice Cake Donut today, and it was the best donut that I have even eaten. I patiently waited for them to premier it, and my patience totally paid off. It was the perfect blend of pumpkin flavor and subtle yet appreciable spice taste. It also had the perfect sweetness. I could not have been more pleased with the flavor and texture. I have been eating a ton of pumpkin/pumpkin spiced flavored foods lately--cookies, pancakes, gooey butter cake, ice cream--and this was the best of them all! You 1,000,000% must try this donut while it lasts.Pharaohs Donuts make the best donuts in St. Louis! I highly recommend this place. The new location is an upgrade from the old location, but dont let this Downtown location fool you. The cinnamon roll--especially when it is warm and freshly glazed--is truly the best that I have ever eaten. The cake donuts are fantastic, and the blueberry cake donut, crumb cake donut, and red velvet donuts are all amazing. I highly recommend this place!

I love Pharaohs Donuts! They have the best glazed yeast Donuts and their apple fritters are fire! Those key lime custard filled Donuts are awesome! So much flavor! Pharaohs serves some of the best Donuts in St. Louis!

Get the Apple Fritter and Chocolate Cake donuts. These two alone are worth a trip to Pharoahs. We tried some other donuts as well that were pretty good. Cant beat the prices either. If you are in the area definitely stop by and try them out.

Good donuts. Some of them are too much for me. As in too much sugar. If that is your thing you have found your place. Some of the more plain donuts were my favorite. Lite and airy.Definitely a hole in the wall place. In fact it looks like you are walking into a closed business its such a hole in the wall.

Battle of the Doughnut 3Saturday morning is a time for sleeping in, watching cartoons and trying out another doughnut shop that an insistent co-worker suggested.Arriving shortly after the shop opened, I watched a man walk out the door with three boxes of doughnuts. I began to wonder, what was going on in the small business located on the corner of N. 7th St.Don’t expect a fancy shop with massive machines and a dressed-up dining area. This is a straight up, real deal when you push through the one working door. Yeast, cinnamon, and the sweet smell of sugar will pierce your nostrils when you make your way up the slight ramp and turn left to the reach the counter.I started with a simple glaze and cinnamon roll. I stepped over to a counter to check out my purchase and lost my mind. Both items; fresh, and slightly warm, made me shake my head in disbelief. Is this how a junkie feels when he gets his first hit on a pure drug? I was hooked! I had to go back for another cinnamon roll, adding an apple fritter to my order. Just as I was about to reach in the bag, the male clerk said, “You may want to sit down before you eat that.” Oh, it was on and I did what he said.My toes curled in my shoes after I took a bite of the soft, warm, slightly crunchy fritter. Rodney (the male clerkwas right, I will be back for more.Overall: These doughnuts should be against the law but since they’re not, all I can say is you must try them at least once. Great job to the Pharaoh weekend crew.

The donuts here were fantastic! They were some of the best I have had! The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. All this on a busy Sunday morning for them. The overall interior of the establishment: lobby/foyer, entrance, public spaces could definitely use a face lift. We initially thought we were walking into the wrong place. It was a little decrepit and scary looking. Other then that, great presentation on the donuts! We will be back when in the area again. Thanks!

Was truly blessed to find this Black owned/family business in downtown St. Louis. The line wasnt long (for a Saturdaythe customer service was awesome and the donuts...oh the donuts make you melt in place. I will definitely be back. This place will take all the business from World Fair once the word gets out...oh and they do the Bakers Dozen too...

Better than any of the modern donut spots. Fluffy and delicious donuts with classic flavors. The owner and every employee is courteous, hard working, and all around great humans.They serve a local craft coffee, Coma, and even have espresso drinks!

This a very friendly, family-run shop that is exceptional. The quality of dough on their yeast donuts is perfection! Theyre thick with a fluffy texture that has enough firmness to give an amazing chew. I would encourage any donut lover to come here in the morning to get an always-fresh batch; you will not be disappointed!
