Check this place out
Only this high due to confederate museum
Lovely tree lined streets.
It was a repast meal. Had a wonderful experience ☺
There were some of the most beautiful homes that I had seen in a long time. I went through there when I was looking for a lawyers office.
1st ever B&B and as minorities this was the BEST, treated us like family. We own a restaurant, breakfast was 5 star plus. Only bad thing...we shouldve stayed longer. Location is truly downtown, bed so comfortable ,room was clean and they make sure u r well feed for the breakfast. We chose Swamp Rabit room and it didnt disappoint. Coming back for sure. Thank u for a wonderful & romantic weekend for me and my sweet wife
What a wonderful experience we had at this super friendly bed and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was top notch and we made some new friends at breakfast, too! We cant wait to return!
Awesome place to stay super fantastic breakfast beautifully decorated
Awesome! Beautiful! and just an all around place!
Great place to relax and have fun so close to town .
Beautiful area! Love the old houses and the remodeled homes.
Beautiful, quiet and hot. Thats where you should have an office in downtown Greenville.
My husband planned a birthday celebration at the Pettigru bed and breakfast and they made it very special. He asked for the birthday package which included a homemade champagne cake with strawberries and happy birthday balloons with a bottle of champagne. It was wonderful.
Beautiful area, but not enough street side parking :(
It was beautiful. Even though i was over that way to report to house arrest ppl
Varner and Segura Jim Segura is the best lawyer youll ever need
Nice business district old houses restored to offices.
I had a great time living on Pettigru St. When itWas a Beautiful HistoricalStreet, 1965_ 1970!! Wonderful time,
I am soooo happy we chose to go here. Awesome
Very easy to find, I had to hunt for a parking place across the street. Self guided tour, staff was not present??? Dont understand that one!! We took our time throughout the house.
Was there on business, not sightseeing. Can’t really recommend anything in particular. I will say that if you plan to visit the area be prepared for tons of traffic no matter the time of day
Enjoyed visiting this historic part of the city....
Great historic district. Probably the favorite of all the ones I have visited.
Very nice place to stay for a night or a weekend. Hospitality is awesome, the people are so friendly, the food is really great. The beds sleep good but could be a little bigger.
Beautiful place. Roads are a little wonky for visitors.
Very nice people they want us back for a block party to buy ice cream
A must stop for any history or war buffs. They had many one of a kind artifacts and interesting displays, figure an hour or more to really soak it in. Would have been 5* but there was no interaction with the staff there, three of them stayed in a backroom BSing with them selfs the whole time we were there.
The past is our heritage; this place tells us about our past; i love it.
The houses are most enjoyable! I wish I would have been able to spend more time
Its right downtown near plenty of great restaurants and shops, ans if you looking for a CPA firm, Bradshaw, Gordon, & Clinkscales is located on E. Washington.
We frequently visit Gvl for work, and always try to stay at the Pettigru. They always have the welcome mat out.
Visited the SC Confederate Musuem. Very interesting and an informative docent.
Lovely neighborhood thar has become mostly boutique offices for attorneys, ad agency, architects and other white collar professions. There are still some residences sprinkled in.
If you need a good lawyer I have 2 of my top picks.
Its beautiful down there some times you need to go down there and take a look
Beautiful B&B. Very charming with a hostess, Lori, that is dedicated to getting to know her guests and being helpful with hints for dining and activities in Greenville. I was particularly appreciative that Lori was able to accommodate our need to have breakfast an hour before normal serving time in order to make our class.Wine and cheese is a very nice touch to unwind at the end of the day before heading out for dinner.Breakfast - wow! Very generous portions and utterly delightful. Can not rave enough about the breakfast.Rooms are charming, private, and quiet.
My stepfather had a law practice on Pettigru and we also live in a beautiful home there that budded up to Cleveland Park some of the best times of my childhood
Awesome and awesome its really cool how fort Pickens is still standing
Very Interesting shopping and other sights I highly recommend this.
I went to the Poinsett Club for lunch. I dont know everything thats in this area but the street traffic is heavy. Poinsett Club is nice but too rich for my blood...and I have not been invited to join anyway.
I enjoyed it but Luke, my 5 yr old, enjoyed it more..
Our church 4th presbyterian is there. Very welcoming ‼️🌷
This historic district is fine. I wasnt too impressed. There were too many fire trucks.
Really pretty and safe. I left my purse sitting on the passengers seat in plain sight right in front of some sort of psychology clinic while I ran down the street trying to deliver a package and came back and it wasnt stolen!
A beautiful Historic District which has some great structures to look at and admire...A lot of the old homes are now businesses but are very nicely renovated...The park thats there is a beautiful place to walk and bring your children to play.
Lots of old houses, tree lined streets. Historic districts arent my thing, so I really didnt see anything special to this area.
Great area I have gone to a downtown church for years now. It is really a much improved area.
A beautiful drive through historic homes but very typical of what you see in most downtown areas. Not really a place you visit with the kids to learn or see a lot.
Very cute beautiful area to drive through
The Petigru Historic District is an area with older homes most of which are now offices for professionals. There is a Civil War Museum in the area and a nice bed and breakfast called Petigru Place where I got married many years ago.
